Carina comes to Equestria early for Hearth's Warming, but is pulled out of the festivities midway through, prompting Carve to come to Carina and her family up in Wisconsin. However, all the celebration is put on the line when Carina experiences a life-threatening conceptualization.

Almost everyone has a moment in life they can't except. It's that moment where reality has suspended itself and what was the truth seemed like a total lie. It sometimes comes at you out of nowhere, and it hits you so hard that not even tears can express the pain of such a deep impact.

...and it happened to me over a thousand years ago.

It was perfect, Princess Celestia was dating her immortal student Twilight, and no mortal pony would ever have her. Tempest, finally free of her guilt, arrives at Ponyville to learn more about friendship from Twilight and her friends. Tempest fell in love with Twilight, and Twilight realizes that she's been missing out on the feeling of true love.

Princess Celestia isn't okay with this turn of events, not in the slightest.

However when an evil rogue mage comes to town she meets a team of knight's who ask for her fathers aide and Starlight becomes obsessed with learning about this mysterious stallion leading the pack: Mars, who seems to have also taken a liking to her.

See her overcome her emo angst, and then on an epic mission for the fate of Equestria and setting her on her destined path with her new mentor!

Hanahaki, also known as The Unrequited Love Curse, is a disease that affects those with unrequited love. Those who are afflicted with it will cough up their beloved's favorite flower's petals, and as the disease gets worse, whole flowers.

The only known cures are for the loved one to return their feelings, or to have it removed, causing the victim to lose all memories of their love.

If they don't, they'll die.
