Well Read had a peaceful life in Ponyville, He had a steady supply of blood, ponies didn't have a problem being around him and, he was still alive. He lives by a set of rules, these rules help the ponies feel safe around the blood drinking pony among them. Being what he is, he can make others like him. What if he had to save somepony from death, would he change their life, just to save them?

Karl was a shut-in. He worked from home and had everything he needed delivered to him with his love saved for his video games and anime. On a whim, he entered a contest and he won.

His prize was a ticket to a convention and so, with a hastily made Reaper costume, Karl goes to his first ever convention. He is more than a bit annoyed at being pulled away from everything he knows to land in the middle of a village populated by talking magical ponies and their shadow like neighbors.

When said village is attacked, he finds his place a mung the Umbrum as one of their warriors but turning into Reaper was both a blessing and a curse. His actions will shape the future, whether he wants it to or not.

Twilight has been playing with time again but this time Rainbow interferes and the spell goes horribly wrong. Alone in a world without time the two of the time embark on a journey to undo what's been done. Their own time continues to move on, and, as all time, it is fleeting and precious.

Three weeks after being forced into a sinister game of revenge, arranged by Queen Chrysalis, Twilight returns to confront Chrysalis one last time, only to learn that her along with her friends were not the first round of victims.

The game was never over.

Before anybody asks, yes, this is very heavily inspired by the "Saw" movie franchise. I just felt that the original story needed more of a story, so here's my attempt at adding more to the story. This takes place after the events of season 6!
