This story is a sequel to Equestria Ninja Girls: Shell Shock

The Ninja Turtles and Rainbooms help the half-Atlantean, Aquaman, to find the lost, ancient artifact of Atlantis that could help him dethrone his half-brother, King Orm, who leads the underwater kingdom of Atlantis and seeks to unite the seven underwater kingdoms against the surface world that will lead to war and bloodshed.

Equestria has been destroyed. Now it is nothing but a wasteland where nopony is safe. With no options left, Twilight and friends venture to the dragon lands in hopes of eking out a home there.

Tempers flare and personalities clash, but Twilight is determined to keep herself and her friends safe in the land where the dragons roam.

An errand in the Everfree takes a turn for the worse when Fluttershy is attacked by a rampaging hydra. Things only get weirder when she is saved from the beast by a mysterious giant, one she quickly learns has no memory of who he is or where he came from. As Fluttershy and the rest of the elements work to help this mysterious being they discover there is more to their world than they could have imagined as well as something far more ancient than Equestria or the Elements of Harmony.

Just a couple things to get clear:
- This is an alternate universe so there will be quite a few things different from canon, but the characters should overall be like their canon selves
- So there is no confusion on age, the Mane 6 are in their mid-late 20s and the CMC/Spike are in their late teens/early 20s. All other characters are aged up appropriately to match those standards.

This story is still my first attempt at serious writing (even after making a butt load of changes) so any and all constructive criticism is welcome

"What happens when you change so much that you don't recognize yourself? What happens when you push everypony away to fit in, even going so far as to shatter your own heart in the process? What do you do to fix everything while you still can?"

Over the years Spike and the rest of the Elements of Harmony have seen a dramatic change with Rarity, even going so far as to degrade the quality, the uniqueness of her dresses. Only after confronted by Twilight and breaking Spike's heart does she finally see what has become of herself. Determined to fix it though, she sets out across the land of Equestria to try and rediscover who she is.

Equestria has witnessed centuries of rapid technological advancement during Twilight's rule. Innovations in the production and integration of magic has led to countless improvements in the quality and efficiency of life in Equestria, and enabling ponies to finally touch the stars and new worlds. However, with the rise of more and more energy-heavy processes and a stagnation in development regarding the extraction of energy, Twilight turns to the biggest and final step in energy extraction: a dyson sphere: a massive device that would surround the sun and allow virtually all the energy released through nuclear fusion to be harnessed by Equestria.

Two former princesses have some concerns.

Nopony seems to understand how hard this is on her. Maybe Zipp can find joy in social isolation, but the more sensible of the sisters recognizes that she's been largely cut off from fame, fortune, and the constant reinforcing platitudes of those who clearly love her. Still, when Pipp is truly feeling lost, she can always power up Bestie, check the views on her latest video upload, and bask in the approval of the upvote count --

-- what's that little red symbol? That's never been there before...

...okay. Even more to the point: who cast that downvote, and how can Pipp make sure they never do it again?

While the story is labeled as a sequel, this just indicates that it takes place after the original tale. No extra reading is required.

Turns out Trixie Lulamoon isn't as great and powerful as she says. After the loss of her only friend, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie returns to her caravan. She recalls the death of her mother, and loss of everypony she has cared about. Perhaps her life is a lost cause?

Jason Wright is dead. The Elements and all of Ponyville are to blame for his abuse for three long horrendous years. Princess Celestia, upon hearing about this, lays down righteous judgement on each of them. This breaks their friendship and causes them to scatter to the winds while also destroying the reputation of Ponyville itself.

Two years later, a second human enters Equestria for a job. He and his new companions are a part of a mercenary team, not well known, but unique in their own way. Little does this human know that a simple job his team accepted in Equestria will lead him to becoming involved in something bigger.
