The year is 1899. The age of the outlaw is coming to the end and the once wild west is being tamed.
But there are still some that stick to the old ways. One of these is the Van Der Linde gang. After a robbery in Blackwater went wrong, the gang left everything they had and went on the run.
But what they don't know yet is that they're about to be thrown into another world.
A world that they don't know. A world that has never seen outlaws of their kind.
A world where the gang can thrive again.

Twilight Sparkle still isn't used to having friends, and one of the side-effects of never having anyone to share her hobbies with means that she has no gauge whatsoever of what's "normal." To her, cobbling together something like her camera drone is just a fun project to spend some spare time on, nothing that's worth a lot of fanfare.

Her friends beg to differ, and after she's convinced to go to Fillydelphia and show off her skills to her fellow robotics enthusiasts, she leaves with a pile of business cards and a whole different perspective on something that had previously been just a hobby. This is something valuable, and once the cheques start rolling in, Twilight isn't quite sure what to do with herself.

Well, no, that's a lie. She knows exactly what to do.

Rainbow doesn’t know what made her want to move in with Applejack. She doesn’t know why everything feels so tender and touchy where it used to be quick and light. She doesn’t know why she gets pins and needles when she looks into Applejack’s eyes.

Could it really be so simple as she wants to be with Applejack? This whole emotional maturity thing is way more trouble than it’s worth.

"Starlight?"

Starlight just slightly looked up from her newspaper. "Yeah?"

Sunburst adjusted his glasses to buy some time before speaking again. "How come you only keep alcohol around when Trixie's not here?"

Starlight went back to reading. "Learned it the hard way after attending one of her shows. That mare cannot rein herself in when drinking is involved."

"Ah." Sunburst noticed the blonde tail of the local postmare passing by the window, and prepared to head out to check. "Does she get difficult?"

"Worse, Sun'." Starlight took hold of her coffee, and had a sip while staring into the distance. "She gets thriftless."

During the events of Magical Mystery Cure, Twilight casts the spell with her friends which will inevitably turn her into an alicorn and start her ascension into Princess-hood. But then, something goes very wrong indeed....

Princess Twilight Sparkle knows all about friendship. As a result, her former mentor has asked her to do a presentation about friendship in front of her and other nobles. Twilight takes this as seriously as she can, but when she practices her presentation in front of one of her friends, she finds out about a form of friendship she never knew about. Now it is her responsibility to learn more about it at all costs.

...the only problem is that she doesn't know exactly what it means to be friends with benefits.

Thanks to my sleep deprived mind for giving me this awful idea~! I thought it would be fun to write a little shitpost with a play on words as a title. This is also my first fic that isn't based in the world of Equestria Girls! I hope everyone enjoys the comedic hell Twilight goes through! Oh!
