If you read this before 8/1/11, it was dramatically different than it is now. Quite frankly, I didn't put the work into it that I should have, and it wasn't nearly as strong as the revamp will make it. Fluttershy ends up spending all morning feeding the animals, and finds she has run out of food at home. Heading into Ponyville, the shy mare finds a fearsome storm is moving in, and finding an open shop is going to be tricky!

Rainbow Dash has an unfortunate and unusual accident that causes her to have an out of body experience. She finds herself in a coma while her conciousness has manifested in a semi-etheral state. Despite the curious circumstances she finds herself in, she decides she may as well have fun with it.
However, in the depths of her chaotic mind she is confronted with the ghosts of her past and a darkness that threatens her future.

Foreword
Rarity has always been strong at heart, or so we are told to believe. This story explores Rarity's dream, against Rarity's tragic love life. It exploits who she is, The Element of Generosity, and how she copes with her past. In the end, its a story about life, and how through the twists and turns, we finally reach our finish line.

Story synopsis
Rarity has been offered a chance to work in Manehattan for Sapphire Shores possibly making her one of the most important fashionistas for that time. She embarks on a journey with Fluttershy by her side in order to chase her dream. However, like every silverlining has a black cloud, Rarity is confronted by her ex-lover who has also made it big in Manehattan. Whatever happens, how will Rarity react?

Long ago in a distant land, I, Nightmare Moon, the shape shifting mistress of darkness unleashed a never-ending night! But, a foalish pony warrior, wielding a magic stone stepped forth to oppose me! Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung her into the future, where my darkness is law! Now the foal seeks to return to the past, and undo the future that is Nightmare Moon! (FiM/Samurai Jack fusion)

What was originally meant to be a single piece, this story, its prequels and sequels, focus on the mane six and their dealing with being the Elements of Harmony, how ever long that will last...

This was my first attempt at Grimdark & horror. It's what happens when you try to mix Lovecraft & G1 Ponies with G4... For those curious on whether the ponies were being turned into humans or furries, my answer will always be, "Whatever scares you more...".
