I have sad news. Wanderer D, who has been a pillar of the community since the early days, is losing his apartment due to rising rent.
It's a sign of the times. Future generations will call this era the Greater Depression. Everything is the opposite of what it should be: Luxuries are cheap, and necessities are expensive.
As most here who have read my stuff know, I'm good friends with another author here named Wanderer D. Many may have read the crossover chapters we wrote for the Sweetie Belle Chronicles.
I can't believe this is real either tbh.
Part of the nature of Jinglemas is that it's a fic exchange, and everyone who gives a story gets one. In my case, it was from Wanderer D himself, he of the wandering Sweetie Belle and cocktail-mixing Sunset. And The Abyssinian Dream was a wonderful gift to receive. After I sneakily lured Wanderer D into my story with that blog I made a few months ago, we actually got together and decided to write a full-blown Sunset's Isekai chapter for Nope. Which of course means the aforementioned blog is now completely canon

So, after someone mentioned it in a comment on A Pony Named Nope, I finally decided to check out Wanderer D's story Sunset's Isekai. And... given that Nope is a character plagued by randomly popping up portals, and Sunset's bar, well, qualifies as exactly that, I could certainly see those two interacting, yes. But not quite in the way reader238 envisioned it.

This fandom is ready to become seven years (Though if you throw us in with the G1 crowd, longer than that.) old. That is a long time for developments and stories to change. For the writers to come up with new ideas and ways of looking at things. Too often we forget that this is not like a magna or novel, where there is a set course for characters to develop. If anything this is like a comic book series, where things can change because a new writer will go "I think I would like it if..."

My next summer review is for a fairly famous writer, but this particular story of his is one that I really think that people should read more.

Oh hell yeah gamer, it's happening.
I am not one for slice of life stories primarily. I can say it directly. It isn't my cup of tea with some stories. Yet, every so often. I find these real gems, and the person writing them has a style that is immensely enjoyable. Keeping it Simple, is one of those stories. Its a mac centric story, and holy balls of hay is it something else. It's maybe a once a month update, but every update is amazing.
