Sorry for not posing on Wednesday like I said I would. I put things off because I found that I had a restaurant gift card that was about to expire. It was going to go bad at the end of the week and Wednesday was my only free day to use it. And so I decided spoiled myself with a big dinner. I then decided to explore my city's mall which right next door to the restaurant, something I rarely get to do. Either way I was far too busy to post on Wednesday, so I told myself to post on Thursday,
Don't give up!!
Why are you quitting there? Just try a bit harder! Have yourself a cry if you need to, or call a friend! You surely have at least one or two of them just a PM or phone call away! Reach out to them!
No no no Don't give up! Think of all the people around you and the people (in your head) cheering you on! You're almost there!
Guys! I wrote a novel! :O
I know this is FiMfiction and there are novel writers everywhere, but it's downright strange to have an actual novel under my belt. So what did I actually learn from this once-in-a-lifetime experience?
I have often been told that dialogue is one of my strongest areas as a writer. I find this compliment a bit unusual, because dialogue is often one of the areas that I spend the least time on. My dialogue technique involves a lot of instinct and guess work (I suppose a lot of my writing does). There is one area, however, where I did have to learn and research, because I am quite bad at it in real life.
Lying.
Ever see a story with like 1k likes and 90 dislikes, notice it says incomplete or hiatus at the bottom, and then read it and its quite enjoyable, just for it to end too soon?
Well I'm gonna share a few fics similar enough to that.

I spoke to dad today about certain things. My situation, hunting for work, what my general plan is and what I'm thinking of doing once I'm back home. Face it, that's going to be the outcome whichever way I sniff it. I'll always come back home, by choice or not. It's in the script.
I made a beautiful song. Here are the lyrics for you to enjoy. XD
Also, I was high on orange soda when I wrote this. Don't judge meh. <_<
Wash Dat Bass
By Emma Lee Downs (AKA LyraAlluse)
The first step to being first class,
Is ya gotta remember to wash dat bass,
It ain't that much to ask,
And I don't mean donkey so don't give me sass.
The second step to being king,
Is scrubbing every little corner of your body clean,
Last week's FNAF nonsense is done. Have fun with that.
This week... well, remember in February when we failed to get a romantic story for the Valentine's slot and sought out the opposite of romance? Well, the travesty we uncovered for that occasion has a sequel.
Just last week, we had a Dodge Journey get dragged into our shop.
And I do mean dragged; the customer wasn’t gonna shell out cash for a tow truck when they had a pickup and a tow strap.
Not that I can claim to be any different when it comes to saving a buck.
