Still not the true Timeline post · 3:10am Feb 19th, 2017

Just a quick update!

I have added a, work in progress, Module of Timeline and Reading on my front page... thing. User page? Userpage? Profile page? Uh...

Anstca the story is on the back-burner at the moment, sorry. My main focus has been on getting the short stories out to get all of the Timelines, currently planned, out.

Also, does anyone know a good way to get artwork for stories, without just "borrowing?"

Like a Rug · 7:26pm Jan 26th, 2016

Time for another Weekly Wednesday blog post.

I reckon it's time to educate y'all on the flavours and shapes a lie can come in.

Weird subject to talk about, huh? But I bet you're curious.

I despise April Fools day. · 7:14pm Apr 1st, 2018

Its the one day In a year that Its okay to lie, no It's not, lying Is bad even If used as a joke It still bad, I wish April Fools was never made to be completely honest, Its the day people just make complete fools of themselves. Sorry had to say It, I just dislike April, Its annoying having people lie to you in a joking matter.

Sorry for like no story updates, I've just been busy lately,

Who's on First. I Don't Know is on Third. (Thoughts on Writing in First Person) · 1:08am Mar 18th, 2017

Besides the above being an obscure Abbott and Costello reference, the title of this short essay describes a difference between the narration of first person and third person stories. You know who is telling the story written in first person; it's the main character of the story. In a third person narrative, you usually don't know who's actually telling the story.

I Need to Make Deadlines... · 7:21am Jun 8th, 2017

Hello, everyone. I'm writing in the middle of the night—if it is where you live, I know it is for me—to say that the editing for Act I and Act II of What Was the Legend of the Mobtrocity is now complete. Everything in those chapters is now set in stone minus the unbelievably elusive typos. As for the next chapter, I'm going to start on it very soon and finish it by Sunday.

Why am I saying that I'll do this?

In a slightly belated birthday gift - my story Pas de Deux is featured on Equestria Daily! · 2:09am Aug 7th, 2016

A story I was prompted into writing by a contest has been featured by Equestria Daily: Pas de Deux. This time I have Estee to thank for making me get off my butt (okay, more like get on my butt!) and do some writing. The result is a story that has received the highest proportion of approvals and bookshelf adds of any I've written! In this story I wanted to give two background ponies who've have mere minutes of screen time a more

DC Comics: Batman #50, Lying, Disappointment, and Anger, Long Post · 4:20pm Jul 9th, 2018

Hi everybody... still working on the next chapter of A Tale of Two Suns. Hit a few mental blocks, but trying to work through them. Though as of Friday, I've had other things on my mind and weighing down my mood. This is just me getting it down here, both to vent a little more, and to spread some news to those who would find it relevant.

Writing Dialogue: Lies and Liars · 9:38pm Jul 8th, 2016

I have often been told that dialogue is one of my strongest areas as a writer. I find this compliment a bit unusual, because dialogue is often one of the areas that I spend the least time on. My dialogue technique involves a lot of instinct and guess work (I suppose a lot of my writing does). There is one area, however, where I did have to learn and research, because I am quite bad at it in real life.

Lying.

This Is The Song That Never Ends (EU Copyright Directive Update) · 1:46am Sep 13th, 2018

Take it away, Defranco!

TL;DW:
Good News: Article 13, the copyright fine and filtering section, now exempts smaller sites and nonprofits, meaning GitHub, Wikipedia, and maybe even Fimfic are exempt.
Bad News: YouTube, Soundcloud, et al and their userbases are still super duper fucked.

Paper and life. (Another donut shaped rant, sorta.) (Remember, stay sharp, don't cut yourself. It hurts.) · 1:34pm Jan 16th, 2016

Not much in a mood to read. Seeing nice little things, but no forcing it.

It's like me eating too much sugary stuff today whilst writing in those motebooks, and thinking of stuff.

I couldn't eat as much real food as I desired cause I wasn't hungry enough. And ain't being any soon. :raritycry:

I won't even try. I may, but if I ain't. I ain't.

Also, those notebooks really are too small, and slightly too chocolate covered at points.
