New story! So, uh, it's not Time Enough For Love, but before you murder me in my sleep ...
A while back, I posted two(ish) long, long chapters for SFaCF within a short time span. This was because I wanted to get the chapter(s) from Adagio's POV done by a certain point, so I spent most of my waking hours writing for about a week straight. Now I find myself doing something similar because there's another point in the story I just want to get published already, but I'm not quite there yet. "What's the most important part of a story?" you might ask while wondering how to become a better writer. Well Tony, aka Gary Oak, has an idea. The idea that ideas are the most important part of good writing. With examples from Past Sins, A Game of Thrones, and more Tony explores why ideas are important and how to get them flowing.
Generalizations are a dangerous thing. They often have exceptions, and require subjective judgements to make. The subject of today’s opinion piece, however, is a generalization that I believe in.
One thing I often see writers struggle with is physical action: things like fight scenes, races, or the like. Sequences where the characters are moving a lot and interacting with other physical elements in a short space of time. I struggle with it myself, come to that.

Pony War Academy: Chapter 3 (Ongoing series)
Orientation continues at the Pony War Academy. From the perspective of Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy.
This will likely be a large story when it's finally finished, spanning many years both in story and real life.

When I compare Starfleet to Dragon Ball, that means I want them to be STRONG LIKE the guys on Dragon Ball. Because the space ponies and their allies train DRAGON BALL LIKE STYLE, compared to the Equestrians... it's like (Or rather I WANT IT LIKE)

I am very busy. School started up the week of BronyCon (which is why I wasn't there REEEEEEE) and I have been swamped with crazy things. (Ever had to saw a dead man's head in half? I did, and I question the utility of the exercise.)
I have so many projects left to complete. I have NOT forgotten about the Cuddle collab, and I have 3-4 different stories jostling for position in my head right now. I hope to find the time to keep working on them again soon.

I've written words on both my novel ideas, and I've edited a little of my original novel. And.
Oh.
My.
Harmony.
Novels are fucking hard.
Short stories and novellas so efficient! Set a character's goals and move them forward. Pummel them with obstacles until their eyeballs bleed. They persist because they are a plucky type, quasi-happy ending, yay!
So I'm pretty sure that most people expect Starlight Glimmer to return and so do I but I also believe that the CMC are going to be involved. Now this could be in a number of ways like Starlight saying that she will help them get their cutie marks and then either actually getting them their cutie marks before changing it to her equal or her just equalizing them right there and in both case this ends with them getting brainwashed and the mane six have to help them. Another way it could go
Whoo, two stories in two weeks, that is something considering what else has been going on. And there are some others coming up in the future as well, but this early in the year I will take a little break. I wanna catch up on some episodes.
