Hello there. Here is part two of my reviews of the new season. This time Twilight and the gang go on a "friendship retreat" to Manehatten and Starlight and Trixie stay behind to teach Trixie new magic. I enjoy the Trixie episodes mostly because she is such a complete foil to Twilight that I can't help but find her fun. My thoughts on the episode below.

As promised for the weekends leading up to BronyCon, enjoy something new. This one is light-hearted and entirely no good for poor Spike's manliness. Hey, at least I was kind to him the last time I did this - Twilight needs a break!

So I was chatting on the Morning Discussion over on Equestria Daily earlier and I met this fellow who likewise was into little horse stories. So we started talking and he asked for my page. I provided the link and he said he loves my work and wants to become my editor... That was unexpected, although not unwelcome I wouldn't think? Hey guys! So with Arc 1 having finished up and me taking a little break from the main storyline, it's going to be a little bit before the next chapter arrives. So, I decided in the meantime to share the 'beta' stages of Ballad of the Dawn with you guys. These were the chapters that I submitted to EqD when NaPoWriMo 2017 concluded. To those of you who may not know yet, our fellow reviewer and great and powerful friend Ninjadeadbeard, unfortunately passed away December 19th, 2022 from his cancer. That while this is disheartening news to all of us, Ninja wouldn't want us to be sad, he'd want his memory to live on in the hearts of others. Short-Tale is running this event, details below.
On December 19th, I lost a dear friend, whom you may have seen around: Ninjadeadbeard, member of the Reviewer's Mansion and author of the lovely Anarchy-verse series of stories. Words can't express my heartbreak, both as an author and as one of his friends.
I LOVE the episode "On the road to Friendship".
it put me in a nostalgic mood as it reminded me of the Hope & Crosby road pictures. I think Hasbro fumbled the ball there by not making more episodes like that.
