You know who is telling the story written in first person; it's the main character of the story. In a third person narrative, you usually don't know who's actually telling the story.

Ugh I can't decide. This is the main thing keeping me from writing. I don't want it to be the generic cringy human in equestria with like me talking about it, but when I do third person it feels just as weird cause I overuse him, his, he, he's and etc. I used at least 6 different of those in like 2 sentences. And I just feel like the third person takes away from the experience. Man I just don't know. What do you guys think? Give me advice in the comments (if anyone actually reads this).

I find myself agreeing with this. (There has been some talk about this recently in the Human in Equestria group) Don't get me wrong, he's useful for funny one-shots and short sex stories. Yes, I Bendy lord of trashy Anon Second Person fics knows they are trash.

First and foremost, I hope that Trixie's refusal to use pronouns wasn't too annoying. When pre-reading, Admiral Biscuit suggested changing some to 'the unicorn' and 'the magician' but he was also uncertain if that would actually help. How much should you use dialect or constructed language? Very little. Note that I did not write not at all.

By dialect, I mean implying a southern drawl, or using specific words that imply a regional accent like “Darling!”¹ or “Don’t ya know?“ or “A?” or “Brilliant”. By a constructed language, I mean everything from completely made up words to totally made up grammars. This includes writing in English but using a foreign grammar like Spanish or Japanese.
