Or at least an idea for anyone who feels like writing it...

I know, I know, it's a little late for a retrospective blog. Heck, I think it's almost January 2nd just west of the International Date Line. But I wanted to write this both in 2016 and after getting a good night's sleep. Read on for a look back and a look forward, especially if you read the Friendship is Card Games series.
IN WHICH I IMPART GOOD-ISH NEWS
Well, that's what the sub-headline says, anyway. I think it's good news; you may or may not agree. Despite not being on a library computer (thus having to input lots of stuff manually), I finished editing a capital offense, at least for now. One last read-through in a day or so and it's ready to go public. Yay. In the meantime, I have a request…
Several items to cover here. Firstly, if you want to participate in the Bronycon Bookstore (I personally plan on converting Oversaturation to dead-tree format,) fill out Aquaman's survey linked here before the day is out. It's not a hard deadline for signing up for the project, but it is a deadline for Bronycon vendor applications.
Missed the ideal timing on this post but oh well; I released a new Twilight Velvet and Shining Armor story today called “There ARE Monsters Under Your Bed!”. It was written as a request- go and check it out!
Okay, now this one... Well, been a long time coming. Like the Pony of Vengence, this one was a personal request from the author himself. Now, even if Seriff is a friend, a good friend at that doesn't mean I'm going to be biased. If I see mistakes, I will point them out.
As the title says, the time to request has come to an end. Though I should have posted this sooner. All slots have been filled, all notes have been taken down, and I will get to all requests as soon as I can. When I start working on your story you will know it, as I will send a private message with the segment I have covered.
Remember what I said in the other blog post? About trepidation over watching the new episodes?
Yeah, that's hitting me like a truck right now.
Don't get me wrong - I'm eight minutes in to Horse Play, and I honestly think it's pretty good so far - or at least, I like what I've seen so far, or think that what I'm seeing so far is the stuff I should like, whatever.
hey we have good news
so because of Spelunky 2 we were 'forced' to update to Windows 10 and
uh yeah, for some reason we haven't had any hard drive issues since then
who knows if we will again, but it's kind of nice to feel our computer isn't suddenly going to melt
in celebration, we have been trying to finish a request hat story that's been bouncing (heh) around in our head for a while. look forward to that, hopefully published later this week, starring Mrs. and Mr. Cake.
There is a problem. What is the problem, you ask? This:
You’re looking at the comment list of Eros Chapter 16. It’s empty.
God, I miss when I still got excited for this show.
I haven't made a secret of the fact that Monsters is highly likely to be my last fanfic on the site. Perhaps my last fanfic ever, period. It's been fun, guys and girls and variation thereof, but there always comes a time when one must move on.
I often make references to the idea that writing is a constant quest for self-improvement. It requires self-reflection and self-critique. But there is a limit to this. After a certain point, self-reflection and self-critique always suffer from a lack of perspective. There's a reason you get reviewed annually at most jobs.
A while ago, I put up an open request for cover art featuring a changeling anatomy reference chart, as I had never found one that fit with my intents and purposes.
A guy known as FriendlyTwo3, and he took to the project like I had never expected to see. And the weirdest part to me, was that, not only didn't he ask for any money, but he said that he was doing it because he liked the idea behind my story.
I’m gonna hold a little competition based on my read it later shelf
I’m gonna make it public, and you guys need to make an unlisted shelf of the ones on it you’d think I’m still interested in and send it to me.
I will be doing the same. The person with the closest to mine will get a request of their choice (meaning a story request, art request, something for me to change my pfp to, etc) (no nsfw tho)
Anyway, I am open to request right now, but lets set some rules.
Rules:
1. Nothing outlandish, like fetishes that include "Scat" or diapers, I just can't write them.
2. No overtly complicated stories, til I get better at this I'm sticking to one-shots and the like.
3. I can do clopfics, refer back to 1, but I can do rape although I can't claim it will have good quality or taste in mind.
I have a few in mind but want to ask you guys/gals which you prefer?
1. Aliens: Equestrian outbreak
2. The Xeno infestation of Equestria
3. Aliens: the ponymorph crisis
4. Xenomorph Equestria
5. your own suggestion
comment the number if 5 write that also
Quick...ish little update to inform y'all about the plans for the near future.
Finish the edit on Pharynx goes Monster Shopping, send it to EqD.
I've gone over it again and again, another once-over to get the kinks out should suffice. I'll upload the new version, submit it to EqD, and leave it at that. If it gets in, it gets in, if it doesn't, that's the end of that.
Get started on the next entry in the Faux Pas-verse. Deer Lords, give me strength.
Greetings everyone,
Apologies for being quiet for so long. As of right now, yes, the next chapter of "Rise of the Apple Princess" is on the way. There is still quite a lot that needs to be done before it can go on to the next stage. I can not guarantee when it will be finished but I doubt it will be out in time before the end of this year.
Simple Backgrounds cost an additional $10
If you're interested in having a wonderful art commission done by this talented artist, you should consider contacting him ASAP due to slots filling up very quickly.
