Well... the 13th of November came and went with little fanfare... I no longer work at the steel mill, and now I'm doing odd shifts at UPS shipping facilities or at another site while doing Anti-Piracy work in theaters for advance screenings of movies...

My first (only) story I was working on was a nice little story about Stormwing and how he came to end up with his pet ferret, Salen. It was cute, it was a bit sappy, and it was based on part of my past. Just small touches, here and there. Stormwing was a reflection of me, a younger me who was a bit lost for a while.

A friend of mine had who has diabetes had a big toe removed a few months ago, and it became infected over the weekend. He admitted himself to the ER for treatment, but unfortunately, he ended up having to get more of his foot removed do to the infection being too severe.

I've been keeping him company while he recovers, and doing things like feeding his dog and picking up his medicine since he obviously can't get around very easily right now.

Hope I didn't miss too much while I was gone!

One of the things I'm slated to do at BronyCon is help with an improv comedy bit called "And That's How Equestria Was Made!" Slight problem, though: The scheduled host, Super Trampoline, had the vagaries of life hit him hard enough that he doesn't have hotel money available at the moment. Hence, emergency commissions.
