That'd be all fine and dandy for Rainbow Dash, but Soarin' isn't making things any better for himself when he keeps uttering the same word that annoys Rainbow to no end.

After a fire burns down a section of the Canterlot Library, Princess Celestia entrusts Twilight Sparkle with the care of a collection of books saved from the flame until the library can be rebuilt.

But when Twilight begins to hear strange voices in her head, coupled with odd visions and episodes of distorted reality, she begins to become unusually drawn to a certain black book from the collections she received.

Ember knows her feelings for Twilight have changed, but the distance between them had provided an easy excuse to ignore them. Had, because with a summit between the Dragon Lands and Equestria starting, Ember and Twilight have the opportunity to once again enjoy each other's company.

And Ember is not the only one trying to come to terms with her feelings.

The war between Equestria and the Crystal Empire has ended after nearly a decade. Thousands of lives have been lost on both sides. Although a provisional peace treaty has already been agreed upon to end the war, further negotiation is required. Thus, King Sombra will attend a formal dinner in Canterlot, where the final details will be hammered out. Twilight Sparkle is chosen to give him a tour of the city to keep him busy until then.
