As I'm sure you can tell by the dates of submission, this story was started quite some time ago. Instead of completely ignoring things that have happened since season 3 on, this will be an alternate reality that branched from shortly before Twilight began the path to become an alicorn.

After a night of drinking, Vinyl Scratch finds herself in a strange predicament. Twilight also finds herself in a strange predicament, drinking far more than the other and being the source of Vinyl's predicament.
Things get pretty awkward.

After Princess Luna's gentle kiss Twilight hadn't been able to feel anything but unsettled. She had gently tried to explain that she only had feelings for colts. That was when her beloved mentor had said it. "If you break her heart, i'll break your spine." Now Twilight was stuck. She really liked her spine! Hmm, perhaps being a Lesmare wouldn't be so bad!

Everyone is dead. She doesn't know who is responsible, just that somepony activated the ultimate weapon. Only four ponies survived and now try to find meaning in the great wasteland. Celestia will just be happy if she can find a way to heal Twilight.

Princess Celestia sends Twilight to Manehattan for some hooves on experience being a princess. Celestia also instructs Rainbow Dash to make sure that Twilight gets used to her new wings. What better way to do that than with the Manehattan Cyclone's top of the line training facility.
However, somponyelse thinks that she's supposed to teach Twilight to fly, and she's the one with an all access pass. Rainbow Dash isn't going back down, though.
Now there are just three questions; Will Rainbow Dash win? Has either pony bitten off more than they can chew? Will Manehatten survive the clash?

[Complete!] When Rainbow Dash crashes into the library one too many times, Twilight ends up becoming her coach for the upcoming Best Young Flier Competition. But Rainbow Dash wants more, and relationships are never as perfect as they seem.

When passions flare and new relationships begin at the Grand Galloping Gala, it can be difficult to sort things out through the warmth and glow of young, budding love. Princess Twilight Sparkle and Captain Spitfire know full well such things are supposed to have a certain progression, but they're not going to let that stop them from enjoying each other's company as much as they can.
