When Vinyl looses her job as a DJ in Manehatten, she looses everything else with it. With no bits left, she decides to go to Ponyville, a small town far away from everything. Maybe she can start a new career there. When she arrives, she meets her old schoolmate Octavia, and that gives her hope. But as always things go a different way.

Octavia was no stranger to mistakes. She had plenty of shows that slowly went south, but she was usually able to fix things before they got too bad. But after a good night of celebrating, she causes a major rift between herself and her now former lover. Despite a month having passed, Octavia wants to try and clear the air.

Being a complete introvert, Octavia is very surprised when a strange looking girl in her music class calls her a peculiar nickname. Her name is Vinyl Scratch, and for some reason, she acts like Octavia is her best friend! Who in the world is this girl???

This story is heavily inspired by my love of Dawnfade's Vinyl and Octavia: University Days and my endearing love of Japanese yuri manga.

Got featured a while back and somepony was nice enough to point that out.

Despite her parents never agreeing with her relationship, Octavia never regretted marrying her wife, Vinyl Scratch. However, a train accident ends up making Vinyl blind and depressed. Octavia will have to show her wife that no matter what, she can still live a good life. All she needs is love.

When Octavia is tempted by another mare after being ignored by a busy Vinyl, how will she respond... and what will the consequences be?

Every story has a beginning. Some are happy beginnings, and some are sad beginnings. Some beginnings are filled with hope or promise, and other beginnings are empty. Every beginning has an origin: a ground zero, a place of birth. For two talented musicians, this ground zero had been an alleyway in Manehattan.

It's late, the fire is lit, you've a steaming hot mug of tea... what better time to have a chat and set the world to rights, and maybe get something else out of it too?
