Twilight's made several mistakes over the course of her life, but each was, more or less, minor. Even turning the population of Ponyville into a mob over her childhood doll was corrected easily and forgiven quickly. But when she ignored all of her teachings and left her friends to search for the Crystal Heart alone, she made a mistake that would cost her the life she cherished. She fought fire with fire, and ended up burnt.

PPS: I need to do a full re-work of the concept in light of re-reads. Twilight's section turned out fine, but I ended up hating Luna's section and her story was integral to Twilight's. I'm also working on something else right now, so I may not have the chance to return. I'm sorry guys, but for now I'll be walking away from this one.

Everyone has their own talents, their own gifts. I have a gift, a talent that is special in it's own right. However, my gift is no real gift. My gift doesn't make me a prodigy. My gift doesn't help me excel at life in my own ways. My gift destroys. My gift creates enemies, and separates me from the ones I love. My gift controls me as much as I control it. It scoffs at morality, ignores ethics, stamps on feelings. It is ruthless. It wants to be free, even after all the pain that it has caused me. I can't let it be free. No matter what happens to me, I must harbor this accursed "gift" until the day I die, even if I lose it all in trying.

Sombra, painted as a villain who simply wanted to be evil and enslave ponies. Why did he do what he did? No one asked why, they rarely do when you're already seen as a monster. Everyone deserves a chance to explain.

ACT One: (Chapters 1-10)
After a fatal tragedy, Twilight wakes up in a situation unlike anything she had experienced before. How is she supposed to react when she finds herself reincarnated as the daughter of Queen Chrysalis, the very one who orchestrated her assassination? Does she give into the rage and loss of her former self, or does she hold true to the magic of friendship?

ACT Two: Synopsis incoming

In a world where everypony's destiny is permanently emblazoned on their flank. Three young fillies seek the paths that belong to them. Little do they realize, the journey's destination is not always determined by the ones who walk it.

His world collapsed. Everything he knew, believed and loved, everything he was, disappeared, swallowed by darkness of his own doing. This agony continued until a light dispersed the shadows, along with what was left of him. Knowing that leaving this world would be a fitting punishment for his crimes, he was ready to accept whatever was to come. However, by a cruel joke of the Universe, a twist of fate, or just a pure coincidence, he was given another chance, to redeem himself, to fix what was destroyed... Maybe even find a true love?

Her world was simple, filled with love for her friends and various creatures that always longed to be with her. While content with how peaceful her life was, one incident and a meeting changed the outlook she had. This one stallion helped her when she was in dire need, and now she wanted to repay his kindness, despite her initial fear of him, and unaware of him slowly becoming a constant to both her thoughts and her heart.

This is my very first story for "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" fandom. English isn't my native anguage, I'm not a shipper of any kind (I accept practically all pairings if they make sense to me), therefore my only request to readers is that you give this story a chance. I'm open-minded for constructive critique and will gladly answer any technical questions, should those arise.

It's been five years since our surrender. Things have gotten better, but we have a long way to go before our home is repaired and our name redeemed. I have spent these five years working nonstop to fix all the mistakes my former teacher left us.

But now I have a chance to make up one of the biggest ones I've ever made.

She betrayed us and sided with humanity. I hated her for her betrayal. Called her a coward. Now I am cowering in front of her house, begging for forgiveness. I have lost so much. I just want to gain one thing back.
