You felt a strange aura around your head as you woke up. You looked around to see nothing but stars above. You had no idea where you were or why you felt weightless but you ventured on.
You felt a cold breeze go past you along with a dark blue mist. That's when she manifest.
You looked at the dark blue pony she had a blue flowing mane. Never have you seen a creature like her before though she looked beautiful.
"Who are you?" She asked walking near you. She cautiously touch your face only to retract it.
"What kind of creature are you?" She asked
"I never seen your kind before what's your name?" You couldn't talk as you were mute.
"Can you not talk?" She asked
You only shook your head. You were a little sad that you couldn't speak to her you'd love to know her more and her to know you to.
"I see you're different are you lonely like myself?" She asked you nodded as your older brother was the star child in your family your mother and father rarely talked to you. And friends well you couldn't make any with you being mute and all. You did have five other friends.
There was Frankie or franklin the kid that was always loyal and made other people back off when trying to make fun of you.
Luke or Lucas he was the one always going on about his looks but he was the type of guy who was the most generous guy you knew.
Thomas or Tommy the smart one he tutored you when the teacher failed you and after that you got better at math. He's been a good friend but acts a bit too nerdy.
Sammy the girl born and raised on farmland she told that she missed the country and she always protected you like Frankie always did. Those two had a rivalry ever since they met you they both wanted to be your protector as they called it. Since you couldn't talk they talked for you.
And last but not least Lexi she was the girl who planned parties and always remembered everyone's birthday. But there was something off about her though she's always extra nice to you for some reason. Sure she was best friends with Frankie but most of her attention was towards you.
Sammy and Lucas didn't seem to get along but after a few recesses with you they became good friends.
"Do you want a friend?" She asked desperately and wanting
Was she asking to be your friend this midnight black pony wearing armor asked to be your friend.
You nodded as she sat next you she was different as well though she had features of a pony she also looked human but instead of feet she had hooves.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked petting your head
"Hmm give me two snaps for yes one snap for no." You nodded
"Do you think of me as a friend?" You gave her two snaps
"Do you think this place needs color?" You have her two snaps as it was dark and had nothing.
"What color?" You pointed towards her mane
"Really you like my mane?" She asked with a blush
You gave her two snaps.
"Thank you I never was given a complement before." You smiled and looked around the room to see it change colors.
"What else do you think this place needs?" She asked
You couldn't really think of anything until you saw her armor's insignia. You pointed towards it
"Really?" You nodded
She did the best she could do as she looked tired.
You decided to stop her rather have her with little energy then your selfish need.
"What is it?" You explained to the best of your abilities
"You want me to stop?" You nodded
"Oh I'm fine you don't need to worry." You shook your head and grabbed her arm bring her down and laying her on the ground.
"I need rest?" She asked
*Snap snap*
"Oh but I'm nightmare moon I don't have to sleep."
*Snap*
"Fine but please stay up."
*Snap snap*
"Thank you." She said closing her eyes. A few minutes later you heard her soft snore.
You finally had a friend even though this was a dream you finally had a friend. You cuddled up with nightmare and slept beside her.
A few hours later...
You woke up to see that nightmare was still sleeping. She had her arm around you and smile across her face.
It was cute to say the very least you rose from your laid stated and walked around if this was a dream then it was the longest you ever had.
Even if this isn't a dream you'd still enjoyed your company she was a beautiful mare and cared for you. But where was she why isn't she with her kind? That bugged you as you wanted to know more about her. But soon you'll get to know her.
"Good morning my friend." Nightmare said with a smile
You waved her over to the view of earth she walked over to see the marble.
The view was breath taking you seen many pictures of earth from spaces in books but this was just amazing.
But something was off you felt oddly comfortable without air.
"Beautiful isn't it that's my home world or it was terra. A beautiful land." She sighed and sat on the ground
You placed your hand on her lap and smiled.
"Thank you young creature." Everything began to disappear as you waved goodbye to your friend.
You opened your eyes to see the vast space of nothingness you experienced many weeks ago.
She was an amazing pony someone who actually gave you the time of day. The only person or shall you say pony who cared for you.
You wanted to be with her to be her friend and maybe just maybe never leave the dream you so desperately wanted to experience yet again.
You slowly walked down the dirt trail of the moon as a shooting star passed by swiftly changing and moving across the vast space area.
You spotted a hint of blue in the distant you slowly walked over and felt a cold breeze pass by you yet again.
You spotted her beautiful body she laid down on a bed that seemingly looked out of place. As you approached the area you grasped by a blue hue that tighten as it dragged you over to the large bed.
You closed your eyes to see Nightmare hug you she had tears in her eyes as if she wanted to know you were coming back.
"I missed you." She quietly whispered as you placed your hand on her belly rubbing it softly making sigh with happiness.
You felt her wing wrap around your back as you have her a kiss on the cheek. She gasped and looked away a blush appeared and intensified.
She had a small hidden smile as she looked at you.
"Um would you like to see your room?" She asked shyly
You had a room? You were confused by the statement as you had a room in this moon palace she gave you a room of your very own.
You gave her a solid and confident nod as you outstretched your hand and brought her closer to you.
As you entered her palace the interior was covered with dark and midnight blue it fitted the lunar mare perfectly as you felt a smile go across your face as you looked at a window which had an image of you and her holding hands.
You looked at her and tugged on her dress asking what was it about.
"Well when we first met I wanted something to remind me about this wonderful and momentous occasion." She smiled and crouched down to your height and gave you a small necklace it was midnight blue. Figures. But it was special as in the inside it had a white diamond.
"For being my best friend i'd like to give you this. This marks you as my Prince and best friend."
Prince? You were only here for a few hours and you were marked as Prince by your friend you didn't know why she gave it but you couldn't accept the offer.
"But I insist you're...you're special." She said with a blush across her face.
You looked at her and hugged her the warmth of her body felt almost as soothing as the song she had sang to you.

You closed your eyes as she looked into your icy blue eyes and hugged you.
"Good Night my son and happy birthday." She said as she whispered into your ear.
Equestria...
Luna slowly opened her eyes as she looked outside her balcony and saw the snow cover streets of Canterlot, she smiled and walked out to hear the crunch of snow beneath her hooves.
She put her hands on the railing as she felt a tinge of warmth pass through her head. She looked around and envision a young boy. Wearing suit charcoal grey vest with a blue tie and charcoal grey slacks. Around his neck hung a blue necklace what was off about the necklace was the small white diamond in the center of it.
She frown as she knew what the necklace had meant. She sighed and re-entered her room and pulled out her old diary.
The dream you've had almost a year ago has now manifested into reality. Every time you slept in this dream you'd wake up in reality but now every time you slept you'd wake up in the same room you had in the palace that had belonged to Nightmare Moon.
Your relationship with her was up for debate as you didn't know what to classify it as. Was it a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship? Or was it a mother/son relationship?
You were very confused by what she has given you. You were very intimate with her kissing her,rubbing her belly when she wanted it,and even caring for her to the point where you'd hate to see her cry.
Your relationship with this mare was up in the air. But you knew this much, no matter what happens you'd stay, you'd stay till the very end. Be with her, comfort her,and even do things others wouldn't do to keep her happy.
You loved her and she loved you but constant doubt prevented you from voicing it.
For a few weeks now you've been learning sign language and Nightmare has been excellent at deciphering it. She's even been helping you do many things with her.
For as long as you could remember she constantly told you, you had magic within your system telling you that the magic is trapped within your body.
As if a lockbox was keeping it from getting away and that you should just release your inner magic into her. You had constant doubts about the idea fearing you'd wake up back on earth with your bad life around you.
You paced back and forth in your room bored out of your mind. Sure reading was never difficult but reading isn't something you want to do. You wished that there was TV around then you wouldn't be bored. Heck if you could imagine a Nintendo sixty-four then you wouldn't be as bored.
You walked out of your room and towards the hallway once inside the hallway you noticed that most of the lights were shut off it was pretty late from what you could tell. You approached Nightmare's room and slowly opened the door. You looked at the bed to see her soft and gentle body underneath the sheets.
You didn't want to disturb her but at the same time did. As you were craving any kind of attention from your potential girlfriend. You approached her bedside and touched her cheek making her snuggle up closer to your hand.
You caressed her cheek as her soft fur rubbed against your skin. You crouched down to her laid height and brushed her flowing mane. You moved the covers and entered bed with her brushing her mane as she hugged your chest.
You slowly closed your eyes as you felt peace with the mare you loved. You didn't want a mother/son relationship with her you wanted a girlfriend/boyfriend relationship with her.
A few hours later...
You opened your eyes and felt almost completely different as if your physical body changed. You moved and saw that you were much taller then before. You moved your hand to see that you had grown quite a bit.
You got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom's mirror. You gasped as you saw your body your new body. You were no longer ten but instead an eighteen year old man.
Your hair was silver and your upper body well built. You felt almost in control for the first time in your life you weren't weak but instead in control of what you wanted.
You turned to see Nightmare a smile upon her face as she walked towards you her tail brushing lightly against your leg.
"I must say I love you like this I never imagined that your magic was strong enough to grant you your true age and what I wanted you to look like." You gave small nod of acknowledgement as you felt her hand upon your shoulder.
She gave you a small kiss on the cheek before her hand slid down your chest and grasped your hand. You were new to the emotions you felt with her. For the first time in this new year you felt ultimately in control.
Nightmare turned you around to face her. As she did you planted your hand on her rump making her blush furiously you smiled and entered a long and deep kiss with the mare you cared for and enjoyed her company to do anything to and for her.
