Applejack and Rainbow Dash knew this would be hard, but a long distance relationship was in their future from the start. A Wonderbolt and an apple farmer don't have a lot of time in the same place, so they do their best with letters and the occasional weekends. But when Applejack finds out that Rainbow Dash is on the cover of Flyers Illustrated: Wet Feathers Edition, it plays on a fear she never mentioned to Dash: Everypony knows that famous ponies are different from normal folks. . .

Fluttershy is in love with Rainbow Dash. That's a problem, because Applejack is also in love with Rainbow Dash. When the scruffy sex goddess mare is kidnapped by changelings, the two friends-turned-rivals must team up for an epic adventure that spans Equestria in order to seek not only her safety but also her affections, as they compete to outdo each other at every turn along the way.

Note: This story does not have a crossover tag, even though some of you mat have noticed that the title is inspired by the Mario and Luigi series of RPGs, down to the punny subtitle. That's because the story isn't actually a crossover with that series. AJ and Flutters won't be spelunking through Chrysalis's gut, and Rainbow Dash's sweet and pure raspy yet adorable voice doesn't power any sort of legume-themed artifacts. The story was originally a retelling of Superstar Saga, but then I decided that was dumb, so I changed the subtitle but kept the format because why not? This story is really just the product of the question, "What would happen if you take the classic Mario formula of the love interest being kidnapped and the quest to save her, but with lesbian horses instead of hairy Italian plumbers?"

Applejack and Rainbow Dash need to get ready for a very special day, but it seems like everything and everypony is conspiring against them from getting anything done. Will the power of friendship be enough to get past all the annoyances they'll have to face? I got twenty on no. Hangover's are really the least of their problems on this day.

My entry for the AppleDash fic contest. I'm not a huge fan of shipping, haven't really read any romance fics besides the bits in Fallout: Equestria, though I guess I'll start reading them; I've only seen four romance flicks in life; Titanic, The Notebook, the one with Channing Tatum and the weird thing his cheek does, and Cast Away (there has never been a truer love than Tom Hanks and his single ball). Regardless, I really wanted to write something out of my comfort zone, I hope you enjoy.

She is forced to work off the debt but will she find that a certain orange earth pony can be more than she seems? Will sparks fly between the lovers? Or will they fizzle and die?

Vinyl Scratch's long awaited album is finally going to be released, but she needs somewhere that would fit the darker themes. Somewhere like, say, an abandoned psychiatric hospital rumored to once be the resting place of Nightmare Moon.

Dragging her roommate Octavia along, they soon discover something darker than imaginable has taken up residence in the abandoned corridors. Something that has no plans to let them leave.
