On the first anniversary of the defeat of Nightmare Moon, Pinkie Pie is preparing the party to end all parties. It is her masterpiece, to show her father that she was justified in fleeing the family farm ten years earlier.

Acting off of a mysterious remark by Princess Luna, Twilight Sparkle is trying to work out which of her friends is suffering from nightmares about a horrible danger coming to Ponyville during the Summer Sun Celebration. All she knows is that this pony lied about their cutie mark story...

And Pinkamena is also preparing for the arrival of her father. She has a masterpiece of her own, but it is quite different from Pinkie's...

Rainbow Dash tries her hoof at something she's never done before: poetry

Hallo! Sorry I'm late. But then, it seems... so are you, Rainbow Dash.

And so the late Rainbow Dash comes face to face with Death himself! And he's... surprisingly cordial, actually.

But when Rainbow ends up in his debt, there's only one way to get back to the life she knew: take up the role of the Grim Reaper herself while Death takes a little holiday. Will Dashie be able to stay quick among the dead? Will she be the most awesome reaper ever... or will Death have to cut his vacation - and Rainbow's life - tragically short?

Rainbow Dash has told Fluttershy of her bad thoughts and obsessions, and has promised to tell Twilight too.

She doesn't know if she can do it.

Sometimes OCD doesn't look like washing, cleaning and organizing.

Sometimes it looks like running away from a friend because you're afraid you'll hurt them.

Rainbow Dash knows this and understands it. There is one friend she can always ask for help on those days. Hopefully, there will soon be more.

She saw her, tumbling to earth. She heard the crack of horn on stone. She listened to the staccato beeps of hospital monitors. When will she wake up? Will she wake up? Will she ever forgive Rainbow for failing?

A man comes to Equestria. It's nice. Rainbow Dash becomes his friend, but something's bothering her...

He seems to be hiding something. He's told her a lot of things, things he hasn't talked about to anypony else, but there's still something eating at him. So, she psyches herself up for a visit to get to the bottom of it.

We all know Scootaloo’s tough, that she’s cheerful, and positive, and a generally good, friendly mare.

But even Scootaloo’s capable of falling apart, with the right words; the wrong words. And she heard those words. You’ll never fly.

Now, Rainbow Dash just has to figure out if she’s capable of being put together again.

Suicide/Self-Harm tag added for implications of the act. I don't find it absolutely necessary, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Rainbow Dash meets a fan of hers at a Wonderbolts event. Being so awesome and totally able to help, the filly begs her to look for her lost brother; she even knows where he might have gone! But Rainbow feels the local police would be more helpful, sends her away and thinks nothing more of it.

That is, until the filly goes missing as well. Now a conscience-stricken Rainbow must track her down to a desolate peak shrouded in an eternal storm, to the remains of a decrepit factory, and endure the horrors within to save her.
