Today I learned that sometimes how you say something can be just as important as what you have to say. It's easy to forget the true strength of words and all the subtle ways they can bring us closer together or push us apart. It doesn't matter if you're a filly in Ponyville or an Alicorn Princess in Canterlot, words are powerful.

There's still so much to learn about friendship. But I think I'm ready to start.

Princess Celestia and Twilight Sparkle have a private meeting during the Royal Nightmare Night Party.

Princess Celestia wants to teach her Faithful Student, the young Twilight Sparkle, the magic that the night sky holds. In an empty field that stretches on in every direction for miles, where there's no light to obscure or pollute the sky, the stars have as much of a voice as either of the ponies do.

It is Twilight Sparkle's first night as a princess of Equestria, and she cannot sleep. As the excitement she felt during coronation fades away, it gives way to a deeper anxiety. The young alicorn lies awake, her thoughts dwelling on her new destiny, her responsibilities, her fears, and her own mortality.

Or, as the case may be, her lack of it.

As morning draws nearer, Twilight leaves her bed haunted by a question, and so she decides to seek out the one pony who can answer it.

Inexperience is a foreign concept to Celestia. At least she thinks it is. Right up until the moment a rash decision leaves her with a student who is a dozen years younger than what she's used to.

When Twilight calls it a day and heads off to bed, Luna appears uninvited in her room and requests the mare tell her a bedtime story. Deciding it would at least not be much harm, she comes up with a story of her own and shortly gives the princess of the night a relaxing story.

(Not much of a big summary, but the story will promise you at least something warm and nice. Not a sequel to my story Life, which I myself got confused in nearly mixing this up.
