This story is a sequel to Post Nuptials

In the aftermath of the wedding, Spike is bitter and avoiding everyone. Twilight's determined to find out what's bothering her charge, but she walks a very fine line when dealing with an emotionally distraught child.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash suspects something's wrong with Scootaloo, so she starts spending more time with her in hopes of picking the secret from her brain. As she begins to truly mentor the young filly for the first time ever, she begins to see the advantages to having a little sister.

And while all this is going on, Pinkie is struggling with some old family issues that have been brought to the surface, meaning she might have to confront her past at last.

Scootaloo has done it, she might of lost her sister, all because she broke the last thing Dash's mother gave her, before she died.

Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, as the most prestigious academy in all of Equestria providing the most outstanding education, ends up being incredibly tough on its young students, with its high standards and rigorous exams. With one obvious exception: Twilight Sparkle, personal protegé of the Princess, exemplary student, and the overall incarnation of excellence and inquisitiveness.

But even a Twilight Sparkle isn't immune to failure. One bad report card and one bad grade can be enough to shatter her already fragile self-esteem.

Of course all of this could just be a mistake. There's just no other way. Surely, it had to be a mistake. And mistakes can always be fixed, right? Right?

It's been a while since Twilight stepped foot into Canterlot High, six months in fact. And now that she's back, she's got something that will change Sunset forever.

Now that Aria has come forward with her secret passion, she and Sonata find out that Adagio has found a hobby of her own. Only problem, it's kind of illegal...

OK, really illegal. Maybe she should've picked up another hobby...

We all have to accept the consequences of our actions. Sunset Shimmer learns this when she decides to return to Equestria with Twilight Sparkle and face Princess Celestia's judgement. Knowing full well that she did something wrong, she expects to be punished. However, sometimes our punishments are not what we expect.

When Twilight left, Sunset forgot to ask how Princess Celestia was doing. Seeing as she will not get an answer, the former student to the Solar Goddess attempts to move on and live life as a student to Princess Twilight.

One night, while Sunset drifts further into her dreams, she is visited by none other than the guardian of dreams: Princess Luna of Everfree. This will only end one way, and that way is completely opposite of what Sunset had been expecting. Takes place directly after Rainbow Rocks.

Now that both of her fellow roomies and former sirens have gotten their own hobbies, Sonata finds herself wondering what her new talent could be. Of course, like her favorite TV show couple, that ship has yet to sail.

If only Adagio and Aria were more supportive.

It's bedtime for little Twilight Sparkle but she wont go down without a few stories so Cadence reads to her and her stories include a unicorn king obsessed with power, a wicked spirit who brings chaos to the land and uses the power of what's wrong with the world, and a misunderstood dragon who falls into greed.

While other ponies in Twilight's life have something special about them, Twilight is just a regular old unicorn. She certainly isn't special like Princess Cadence. Sure, her foalsitter always tells her she's special, but there is no objective logic behind this reasoning. And the upcoming Summer Sun Celebration might be fun, but it certainly can't help. How could somepony, proving she's the most special pony in all of Equestria, help Twilight find her place in life?

This story is a purely fluffy head-canon to connect the uncertain Twilight seen in the Canterlot Wedding flashback with the one seen in Cutie Mark Chronicles. It is not that serious, but I think it's nice.

If someone doesn't get it, think of Pinkie's hair being used as a cannon. That was the purpose of this story.
