It's been almost half a year since the events that took place on Mystable.
Most of the students at CHS have learned from the incident, vowing to do whatever it takes to atone.
Meanwhile, there are others who refuse to let go, still consumed by thoughts of revenge.

Apart from these two groups, there is one student in particular who was changed entirely.

As the Summer Sun Celebration nears, Twilight Sparkle is sent to Ponyville: a small, out-of-the-way town which is definitely inhabited by ponies just like her. It's right there in the name.

Talk to someone on the telephone enough and you get an idea of what they look like.

And then you meet them for the first time, and they're not at all what you expected.

Adagio is found sulking in an alley by a one miss Sunset Shimmer. Sunset manages to invite Adagio into her home for a friendly talk. The Dazzlings have had it pretty rough since their defeat, and Adagio is teetering over her breaking point. Could Sunset maybe get through her tough exterior and convince her she's in need of help?

In Equestria, it was an unforgettable experience to meet a siren. Whether it was her beauty or her power, the danger of her fangs or the majesty of her song, those fortunate enough to escape would be scarred for the rest of their days.

Aria is no longer a siren, and hence no longer unforgettable.

Since neither of them have dates for the Spring Fling, Flash Sentry and Ditzy Doo both agree to go together as friends.

Unfortunately, this leads to Canterlot High thinking that they're actually dating.
