Spike has had feelings for Rarity ever since he arrived in Ponyville. He can't stop thinking about her and wants to take action. This story is five years after his birthday.

While out searching for gems one day, Spike and Rarity come across the ruins of Lusitanopolis, an ancient pony city from the days before Celestia. When Spike learns of the rarest gem in the land, the fabled Eye of Equestria, is said to be kept there, he sets out to find it to impress Rarity. What follows though are layers upon layers of deceit as Spike becomes desperate to win Rarity's heart, and an ancient evil sealed away for generations coming back to haunt the land once more.

Crystal Clarity, a pony. Not like any other pony, but a dragon-pony hybrid. She has lived most of her life being teased for being "different" than the others. But, when she discovers a group of friends and one special somepony, her life will change.

Spike Is now 18, and must leave Ponyville in case of any problems by him being a dragon and all. But... Will he be able to stay?

Twilight has the power to change the biological structure of anypony, or anydragon into something else. And, after seeing Rarity fall over other stallions, Spike the dragon wants Twilight to change him into a pony so that he could finally have a chance to be with the mare of his dreams. She gives in and casts a spell on Spike, turning him into a pony. However, this spell is temporary, unless Spike gets his cutie mark within three days.

But becoming a pony for the sake of Rarity comes at a price; Twilight Sparkle will lose her one and only number one assistant, something that is dear to both her and Spike.

No marriage is without its challenges, especially not that of Spike and Rarity. Despite the fairy tale-like circumstances surrounding their courtship (Beauty and the Beast is a popular reference made at dinner parties), their relationship is far from perfect: indeed, the combination of her overwhelmingly large dress orders and his frequent extended trips across Equestria as Celestia's personal envoy makes it seem as though neither one of them has any time for their significant other. Yet there is one key factor, one constant variable in their lives that will always be there to remind them of how much they love and care for one another, no matter what issues they face.

Celestia invites Spike and Rarity, as well as Rarity's family, to the castle for Harvest Feast. Just like most family get togethers though, it can only end in hilarity and embarrassment. Especially when the two lovebirds have been going out for less than a year.

After a long day of work, Spike shares an intimate moment with Rarity that sparks a budding relationship. Together, the two recover from tragedy and move toward an uncertain future and inevitable conclusion.

A short romance set several years after the conclusion of the series.

This is a test fic. I wrote it to see if i could capture obvious emotions. Spike and Rarity are in Rarity's shop after working on a project. What is on the surface, is not always what is real. What is real, sometimes, are things we do, in hopes that others see the sincerity. This is a oneshot Sparity.

Spike and Rarity have been dating for more than two weeks now, and he still hasn't kissed her. Sure, there have been goodnight pecks on the cheeks, but never a kiss. But he's going to fix that tonight, whether the rest of him is ready for it or not. And little does he know that Rarity's anticipating it just as much as he is, if not more. All she wants is that one, perfect moment—the kind that she's read about so many times in her novels—with her drakefriend. That's all, really. And, knowing what a gentledrake he is, she's certain that's exactly what he'll give to her: a perfect, magical first kiss. She knows he wouldn't disappoint her. He never has.
