When the light dims and the flame burns out, the magic inside us all will forever endure.

Twilight Sparkle just can't find enough time in the day. She has to study friendship for the Princess, hang out with her five friends, and juggle her own hobbies and interests besides. But when a novel solution presents itself in the form of an experimental new spell, will it solve her time crunch, or will she be distracted even further?

When Twilight Sparkle first arrived in Ponyville, she thought every pony there was crazy. Nowadays, she fits right in. This is the story of a normal day in her new home.

Twilight gets her hooves on Red Pegasus, an energy drink so powerful that it is banned in Cloudsdale. She gets Rainbow Dash involved, and soon her other friends too. Like the cliche goes : Hilarity ensues.

I've deleted the old one and made a brand new one. Each chapter has like 2k words more than the original chapters ( 700 - 1000 words ) and the grammar is tremendously improved, thanks to my editors too.

Twilight Sparkle suddenly finds herself extremely interested in all the Equestria Origin myths that covered complete shelves of the Royal Library's collection. When she starts reading the first volumes she could find, she discovers something strange. A part of the book seems to have been changed at a later point in time. But when she wants to start reading the next book to see if it is the same there, something unexpected happens...

Against her will, Twilight finds herself randomly transported across two worlds. One is the Equestria she knows and loves. Another is an Equestria devoid of life that exists in only ruins and shadow. Determined to prevent her Equestria from meeting the same fate, she searches for the cause of the calamity that devastated the other side. Disturbingly lucid dreams haunt her nights, and events around her cause to question that if her quest for the truth will save her world, or in turn create the disaster she seeks to avoid ...

Twenty-five years later, Apple Bloom is an adult pony. She's married with two lovely foals, and is the respected mayor of Ponyville. However she never got past the heartbreak she felt when her two best friends moved away all those years ago.

All this is about to change though. Tonight is the first Ponyville school reunion and Apple Bloom is determined to finally put the past to rest and have the best night ever. What could possibly go wrong?

As Twilight recovers from her ordeal, she finds that she is left with a difficult choice. Either live her life as a lie or sacrifice her innocence to protect the ones she loves. The path before her is set and she must now walk it alone. The sands of time continues ever onward, with everyone already trapped in its muddy depths. The sun will rise and the sun will fall. Waiting for its call, Death awaits for all.
