Discord has found Tirek, and is about to parade him back to his friends for their love and adoration. But an offer is made, an enticing offer... He'll need to talk this one over with a friend.

Tirek, Devourer of Magic, and Lord of Power, lies broken and defeated in his prison in Tartarus. His only company is the one he wants to see least of all.

Once again, I am alone in my prison. Doomed to spend eternity trapped in this underworld abode. Stuck in my cage without another soul to comfort me.

Except, for the first time during my imprisonment, I get a visitor. That visitor being the last person I'd ever expect to meet down here.

When Apple Bloom tells her family that she is moving out, she and her older sister, Applejack, quarrel with each other about this new turning point in Apple Bloom's life. Now, in a mixture of emotions, Applejack reflects on her own life and wonders if she has been doing the right thing all these years with her one, and only, sister. To whom she has grown closer ever since the day their parents passed away.

Time alone can't heal all wounds for Carrot Top. Sometimes life simply goes on in the worst and best possible ways.

Twilight had always been unstable. She watched her friends grow old and pass on. She felt trapped. She never wanted this.

The royal guards found the purple alicorn's body lying broken in front of the memorial for her friends.

Celestia is left to wonder why. Why did this happen? Her faithful student, her best friend gone. She is left to wonder what could have happened.

How do you save a life?

My name is Kadie, and when I was eight years old, my people, the griffins, went to war with the ponies of Equestria. My mother never wanted me to think about that, so she never talked about it. The Emperor told my father that he had to go off and fight the ponies, though, so I know that she thought about it a lot.

A few months after I turned ten, a messenger came into our town and told us that our emperor didn't want to fight anymore, so the ponies won, and we lost. Mother said that since we lived so close to our capital, we needed to go see the pony army meet our emperor.

I did not like that.

Discord has a problem. He has a tendency to not think through his actions all that well, poor impulse control, and no ability to figure out how others will feel about what he does. Even with a friend helping him, sooner or later he's going to do something that'll get him stoned or hit with a reforming spell or whatnot. So what's he to do? Ask the smartest pony in Equestria for a solution, of course!

He probably wasn't expecting to get "Have Celestia let you rule Equestria again" for a response.

No one else was probably expecting to enjoy it.

This story is a sequel to Opportunity

Flim and Flam are twins who've always had big dreams. Their latest was the Super Speedy Cider Squeesy 6000. But now, it is nothing more than a collection of mechanical junk. The gig was Flim's idea, and he feels an overwhelming sense of guilt for its failure. Now, the brothers find themselves stranded in the middle of a country road, with their whole world literally crumbling before their eyes. Choices must be made, and lines must be drawn. It won't be easy.

This story takes place shortly after the Super Speedy Cider Squeezy episode. Just a one shot, slice of life look into the brothers. I've written it to be a prequel to my upcoming Applejack/Flim romance An Honest Life. It'll be a while before it's written down, but I wanted to share this prequel with you none the less. I hope you enjoy it!
