Pipsqueak wants to help his friend but he doesn't know how, due to the lack of modern-day technology. Dinky goes through all these challenges to find him and ends up finding other things. There's a new talent contest in Equestria and Trixie naturally wants to take part! The only problem - every unicorn has to have a partner, and Twilight is an alicorn and not eligible to join! Trixie is forced to work with a young filly, and relucantly has to learn teamwork helps even the most magnificent unicorns.

Fleetfoot has been injured just 3 days out from the biggest Wonderbolts show of the century. The Wonderbolts call on the only pony they could on such short notice - Rainbow Dash - but she promised to spend the afternoon helping Scootaloo with her new tricks!

The Friendship Games are over. Crystal Prep has failed to trounce CHS, Cinch's manipulation of her best student is out in the open, as is the fact that the principal's actions nearly led to the fabric of the universe being torn apart.

Before Cinch can begin dealing with the aftermath, a certain someone invites her for a visit into a land of magic and friendship.

Everypony knows about Derpy and the Doctor, but not everypony knows how they met.

When Doc left the reception early, he declared in his fancy Trottingham accent, “You were brilliant!" He grabbed me into a strong brief hug, with back pats, that left no doubt that I had been embraced by an earth pony stallion. And as quickly as that, he set off across the town hall’s ramada.

Me? Brilliant?

"Wait, Doc!" When he turned on the steps, I said, "You haven't eaten anything. It's free food. Not only that, it smells good, too.” Mostly, I wanted to ask what he meant by “brilliant.”

Little did I know this meant discoveries about fundamental physics, fixing a time machine, and learning the truth about my special talent.
