The Doctor heeds to Applejack's request and has the TARDIS take them to July 6, 996. It quickly becomes apparent that Applejack has a plan to change a certain event that occurred on this day. But her choice to attempt to change her future could very well lead to the destruction of the entire universe.

When the Crystal Empire is turned upside down, The Doctor, Rose, Twilight and Princess Cadance, must face the Doctor's worst enemy. Who seems to know about The Doctor's future.

Several months have past since Doctor Whooves entered Equestria and found himself unable to leave, he had wondered how the universe he knew was going to get by without him and on the first year anniversary of his appearance he'll get his answer. Now he must make the choice to either stay with his new friends or return to his old ones.
