Doctor Perseus

I'm just a guy who loves to write.

Sequels1

E

This story is a sequel to Doctor Whooves Episode 10: The Magician and the Angels

The Doctor heeds to Applejack's request and has the TARDIS take them to July 6, 996. It quickly becomes apparent that Applejack has a plan to change a certain event that occurred on this day. But her choice to attempt to change her future could very well lead to the destruction of the entire universe.

Lesson learned today: if you have the power to time travel,
DON'T CAUSE A PARADOX!!!:twilightangry2:
Other than that, fantastic episode good sir.:moustache:

Wow! This Is REALLY good!

Can i get a link to the first ten episodes?

oh lol nvm i just realized i just look on ur page…………

omg the doctor got to see rose again :pinkiegasp: nice twist adding rose and past doctor :derpyderp1: a bit confusing but very well written my good friend :moustache:

DISASTER HAS STRUCK!!!!! THIS IS THE MOST:raritydespair: WORST:raritycry: POSSIBLE :raritydespair: THING:raritycry: :raritywink:

2110070 my head hurts and as "I" say timey wimy wishy washy

Another fantastic episode of wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey awesomeness. Better get to reading the next one! ALLONS-Y!

Nooo poop i am crying thanks for tearing the rose scar off again D: :raritycry:

"Johnny Apple and Emily Apple are their names. They're my parents...and...this is the day they died."

Da da dum! I'm sorry though, but Johnny Apple and Emily Apple have to be the dumbest names for ponies I have heard. :applejackunsure:

Cue Doctor Whooves theme:

At this point, it seems like a rehash of Father's Day with some moments from said episode to highlight the similarities. However, we will come to see that this story takes quite a clever turn with the concept.

2924768
Yeah. Those are pretty stupid names. :twilightblush: I was still going through that stage of giving OC ponies human names. :facehoof: Granted, I still kinda do that now but I think I'm getting better at it...or at least I hope I am. :twilightoops:

"Why not? Her parents are alive! What's the problem?! Is the universe going to get eaten up by monsters or something?" Spike asked.

How prescient of you Spike. :moustache: REAPERS! :pinkiegasp:

She looked back just in time to see Trixie get devoured by the Reaper.

Wow! Trixie sacrificed herself to save Fluttershy! :trixieshiftleft::fluttercry:

Normally a past and future self interacting with each other wouldn't be that catastrophic, but when there was a paradox going on and an army of Reapers was present that tends to make things more dangerous.

Oh I see now! I guess I forgot about that.

The Doctor looked to where the two Applejacks were and nearly fainted from shock. Standing before him was a young, blonde girl in her late teens holding an infant wrapped comfortably in her arms. The girl looked around the barn with a mix of shock and surprise.
"Where am I?!" asked Rose Tyler.

The Doctor looked and was surprised by what he saw. Standing before him was a pair of orange, female ponies with blonde manes. One was wearing a hat and was covered in soot.
"What happened?! Where are we?!" asked the 13-year-old Applejack.

Well, that was unexpected. See, this story is really different from Father's Day. :pinkiegasp:

"So...we're basically dealing with a paradox within a paradox," Spike guessed.

Once again, Spike hits the nail on the head. :moustache:
And here, Doc Perseus proves he can write the 9th Doctor as well as the 10th. (He can also does the 11th in just a Doctor Who fan fiction on Fanfiction.net.)

"Hey, Rose!" he laughed. "I'm going to become a horse!"

Only the Doctor could be excited about becoming a horse! :pinkiehappy::rainbowlaugh:

I really like the moment Rose and Applejack have. It was so full of feeling.

It's kind of ironic that Johnny and Emily's death to undo the paradox resembles Amy and Rory's death in Angels Take Manhattan to create a paradox to destroy the Weeping Angels. :applejackunsure:

2924959 This other fanfic author JohnPerry wrote this guide to pony names. You might find this helpful.

"Yeah," said Derpy. She looked at Twilight awkwardly. "I guess we're not the first ones to have feelings for the Doctor."
"I guess not."

The Doctor has that effect on people and ponies alike. :rainbowlaugh:
Second time around, I still feel that this could have been a really bad episode. It could have been, but thankfully it wasn't. What makes this story great is its unique premise involving a paradox with a paradox caused by the paradox in this story and in the Doctor Who episode Father's Day colliding with each other! :applejackconfused: Doc Perseus proves he is the master of crossovers: crossing over this story with an actual episode of Doctor Who.

Thanks! This should prove useful in the future.

sonuvabitch, just from this, its rose saving her dad and destroying everythig with reapers all over again!

AJ, rule 2 of travel with the doc: always listen to him. with what you just did, you basically bitch-slapped time in the face. it will now want to correct this...in the form of Reapers! and with the reapers, comes this extroardinary offer of a holy church for safe haven from certain death! it can be yours, free! with a perchase of the doctor ceasing to exist! dont play dumbass AJ.

by the nine! AJ, that was so, so, human of you. if your parents dont die soon, we are all done for.

holy shit, that was unexpected. my brain needs to re-boot.

2925348 yup, but this story, it has struck a sad nerve, my mind has now rebooted, and is sad because not one, but two companions have to feel the pain of losing family...twice! curse you time! curse you and your fixed points!

2926915 dude, i so wish i had your writing creativity. hell, i wish i was actually in the story, literally, in the story, not here reading it. by the nine divines, i will create a divice that allows users to do that. just read my past post about said device, just add this use to it :derpytongue2:

A paradox within a paradox? PARADOX-CEPTION!!!!!!

Why didn't the doctor explain this ahead of time when he realized what this was

"Why can we ever face a small problem? Why do problems involving you have to be freaking ginormous?!" "I've dealt with problems like this throughout the nine centuries of my existence and I'm still not able to answer that question with a satisfactory answer." "I guess it's kind of like whether or not we'll ever find out what your name is," Fluttershy said with a smile. "It'll always be one of those unanswerable questions."

There's just.......so much win in these two paragraphs i don't know where to start lol

and the pegasi known as Sarah were able to stop themselves from falling

i demand to know who that is you named her so she must be important

Twilight: So what the thing you needed to change Applejack.
Applejack: Well... On that day that I mentioned.... I ate a pear.. :ajsleepy:
Twilight: .... That's it... you ate a pear and you want to change that. :twilightangry2:
Doctor: That's reason enough Ms. Sparkle.... Pear's are the Devil fruit! :pinkiesick:

You know, I have a character (human) named Max.... She's dealt with a lot of loss in her adventures.
My best friend and I invent them all with LEGO minifigs, and we actually finished the latest one only today. Or... Yesterday? It's two am. :ajsleepy::ajsleepy:
Anyway,
And I'm not a Doctor Who fan ( I love him, I just haven't watched any of the series. I'm gonna get to it eventually)but both of us know a little about it, so we decided to have a little fun and introduce Max to the Doctor.:rainbowwild::rainbowlaugh::rainbowkiss::rainbowhuh::rainbowdetermined2::derpytongue2:
It involved a Helmet of Darkness and a Helmet of Light, an evil version of Max called Mad Max (ummm its kind of like MPD but triggered by extreme emotions and MM is insane), pretty much everyone Max knows dying in front of her, time travel (it was a Doctor Who crossover, after all.), a maniacal creature that's black evil, manipulative, and really, really, annoying, and a betrayer/best friend who saves her in the end.:pinkiegasp:

..... Yeah and the one where Max is killed and makes a deal with the Panda of Death was finished months ago!:rainbowlaugh:

Like I said its two am, so sorry, I just wanted to say I understand their loss.... And maybe we (um, Max and I. She's been real for a while now...) haven't done the things the Doctor has but on the loss count wee pretty close on the scale. Not quite up there with him but it's up there nonetheless.:fluttershysad::ajsleepy:
--MM/J

Aaandddd I'm crying. :raritycry::raritydespair::fluttercry::flutterrage::ajsleepy:

lol, I don't even remember making that comment. It was kind of funny to read, though.

"Why not? Her parents are alive! What's the problem?! Is the universe going to get eaten up by monsters or something?"

YEP

2924768 well Johnny Apple is almost Johnny Appleseed. 8 don't know about Emily Apple though.

The ending and when Twilight or Derpy asked if they'd ever see Rose again. It's all Forshadowing I believe.

Reality.sys is not found, Universe.exe has been halted
Derpy: I just don't know what went wrong :derpyderp2:

"I have a bad feeling about this," the Doctor admitted.

"I don't sense anything," interjected Qui-gon Ginn.
