Several months have past since Doctor Whooves entered Equestria and found himself unable to leave, he had wondered how the universe he knew was going to get by without him and on the first year anniversary of his appearance he'll get his answer. Now he must make the choice to either stay with his new friends or return to his old ones. Either way this will decide the fate of the new Time Lord chosen to take his place in either universe depending on his choice. Paging Doctor Whooves, The Seeker is here to see you.
A MLP/Doctor Who Crossover with my Original Character designed from the concept of the Doctor Whooves theory. (The amount of main character's listed will fluctuate depending on their importance in the story at the latest chapter published so... I hope that's acceptable.)

There will be scenes of mild to extreme violence and some sexual situations but, nothing past the average of an episode of Doctor who. So without further ado let's get to it.
This is my first story so please rate, give advice, etc.
A shout out to the Writer that goes by Loyal2Luna as their, (didn't want to specify a gender.) Doctor Whooves stories are the setting for my universe. This is by no means a sequel and I'm mainly using the outfit for the Doctor and the Equestrian Tardis design from the stories the Pinkie Conundrum and a Game of Stones. Which are very good stories I might add and worth checking out.

It has been one year since the Doctor first Arrived in Equestria and brought his particular style of happy-go-lucky chaos with him. After traveling with his new friends for awhile he began to worry for their safety and stowed the Tardis away and he has not went to look for it since. The following is a tale of his encounter with a being he never thought could exist and the choice it placed before him. But, before I begin... what would you do if You were asked to choose between your new friends or the ones you thought you would never see again?

----------------

It was a starlit night in Ponyville where the Doctor was now residing, it had been six months since the last time the Tardis was used and since that time the Princess of Equestria known as Celestia along with her sister Princess Luna had discovered a way to make the Tardis appear to be a house in Ponyville, at the cost of it's ability to travel through time and space without needing substantial energy to revert to it's original form, as the Doctor had asked them to when he decided it was for the best that the Tardis not be used for a long while. The house which was formally the Tardis was colored exactly the same except the print upon the front read, Clockwork's clock and watch shop. This was the Identity he had taken since his choice to stay dormant in time. A choice he made to defend his new friends Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack, after they were nearly killed in a battle with The Rani who had tracked him via the Tardis and unless the Doctor surrendered, would use her Tardis to destroy all of Equestria in a similar manner to how the Doctor destroyed Gallifrey all those years ago. When she was defeated she told him that as long as his Tardis worked there would be more of his past returning to destroy his present. Such was the reason for his decision.

The Doctor was busy sitting by the fireplace enjoying a wonderful book he had borrowed from the library owned by his friend Twilight Sparkle when suddenly a knocking came to the door. *Knock-Knock* "Oh! I wonder who that could be at this hour?" said the brown earth-pony stallion with the hourglass mark adorning his rump. *The door opens* "Oh hello there Miss Sparkle, how can I help you?" the stallion said to the lavender unicorn mare that stood in the doorway. "Sorry to bother you so late Doctor, but I was hoping to ask you about some strange readings I found on that device you gave me." she said while holding up her right fore-leg, to display what looked like a watch with a large blue screen that displayed multiple colored lines. "Well that's odd. There seems to be another signal of a pony who traveled in the Tardis within this universe. Did we ever have a stow-away?" The Doctor asked curiously. "That's just it doctor! This signal only appeared moments ago and you haven't used the Tardis in months!" She said rather concerned.

"Now hold on, that can't be right?!" The Doctor said his voice filling with panic because this news meant either one of two things, one something happened that would cause him and somepony else to use the Tardis to appear at the moment that Twilight picked up the signal or one of the other rouge time-lords had finally tracked him down. Both options were bad, but the second was far worse. "Twilight, I believe I'm going to have to ask that you contact the Princess and ask her to meet us at the Tardis." He said with a caring yet authoritative tone. "Alright Doctor. I trust you, but please don't do anything to rash okay?" Twilight said with general concern in her voice, as she knew that whenever the Doctor asked the Princess for anything it had to be important. With a nod the Doctor ran to get ready, finding his old traveling clothes that Rarity had Designed for him ages ago. After a quick change he ran up the stairs trying to remember where the main console had been moved after the Tardis became his home in Ponyville, giving Twilight a smile as he passed in an attempt to comfort her.

-----------------

Soon after he discovered that the signal had vanished. "Hmm must have been a glitch from a solar flare." The doctor said in a slightly relieved tone. At which time he departed towards the library to see if Twilight had already sent the letter.*Knock-Knock* "Oh that must be the Doctor." Twilight said as she rushed to the door and opened it with her magic. "Hello Doctor! Wait... your not... HELP!!!" She screamed as hard as she could, as the strange figure entered her library. He resembled the doctor in many ways, although his eyes were much younger and matched his chocolate colored mane exactly. His coat was apple red in color, strangely enough he had the same hourglass mark or "Cutie-Mark" as the Doctor which explained why the signal vanished as the device was designed to track ponies based on their Cutie-Mark.

"My apologies for frighting you miss, but I'm looking for The Doctor, and the fact your body radiates the signature temporal flux given off by those that have traveled within the Tardis, means you would have a connection to him." The stallion explained with a concerned and apologetic tone. "How do you know about the Tardis? It was supposed to be a secret! Just who are you?!" Twilight exclaimed with a mixture of shock and fear at the fact the Stallion before her not only knew of the Doctor, but how the Tardis worked which would be the exact same chain of events that led to the Conflict with the Rani. "Well... it's a long story so have a seat." The stallion said with a gentle tone while scratching his head.

What did this mysterious figure want with the doctor? How did he know about the Tardis and how it worked? Was he as big a threat as the Rani or perhaps as gentle as the Doctor? The answers to these questions and more will only be answered if you stay tuned for Chapter 2: The good doctor's universal substitute. Until next time, Onwards and Upwards!
(Please don't be afraid to post reviews and such as this is my first story. Any spelling mistakes that you can point out would also be appreciated. Thank you for reading!)

Chapter 2: The good doctor's universal substitute

View Online

Ah welcome back to my little nook in the fiction world. Before we resume know that save for two characters in this story all the others are not owned by me in any way shape or form. The character's should be really easy to spot so if you notice that they need more fine tuning please let me know.

Well without further ado Onwards and Upwards!

Twilight Sparkle had finally calmed down enough to listen to the strange stallion's story. Well after he reminded her that as a time-lord, if he wanted to hurt her she would already be dead. At which she was reminded of how brutal the Rani was when dealing with her enemies or other perceived threats. "I'm sorry, but to claim your a time-lord is rather far fetched for me to believe as The Doctor is supposed to be the last of them." Twilight said remembering how the Doctor had explained what had happened to Gallifrey.

This didn't phase the stallion in the least as he seemed to know that it should be impossible yet it wasn't, he then waited for her to sit and began to speak. "I know the stories and yes I am a time-lord, well more or less a substitute. Has the Doctor explained that there are certain periods in time that must remained unchanged to your group yet?" The stallion asked with a kind and gentle demeanor and an expression like he really did not want to do what he was sent to.

"Yes, but what does that have to do-" She said but, was interrupted near the end of her question by the door of her library being thrown open and the Doctor running in followed by the rest of Twilight's friends.

The Doctor looked at how the stallion was dressed in a manner similar to him before coming to Equestria and the hour-glass adorning his rump. "Alright! Out with it! Which one are you? The Monk? The-" His voice filled with anger and fear but, was interrupted by the stallion raising his right fore-leg and revealing a sonic screwdriver but, on the end was a key-chain that looked like it had a small stuffed animal attached to it. While it was strange the Doctor seemed to know what it meant. "Ah, the substitute has finally arrived eh?" The doctor said as he began to relax. At this the girls stood for a moment then decided to try to figure out what he meant.

"Oooh oooh Like a substitute teacher?!" Pinkie Pie said the pink pony's endless energy causing her to bounce as she asked her question. Strangely at this the new time-lord nodded.

"In a manner of speaking yes. You see there are thousands of parallel universes similar to this one although they will always have the same amount of life the events of the universe and the shapes of the beings therein are most often never the same." The stallion explained as the girls all looked to the doctor who simply nodded confirming that the stranger spoke the truth and gesturing for him to move on with the subject. "Well there are times these universes meant to be kept separate are forced to interact by the grand design of time and space. The problem being that the Doctor's trip here was never meant to be an extended one. Thus when he decided to take the power core from his Tardis in an attempt to defend you girls he messed with this design." The Doctor's face became pale as he knew now why the new time-lord had come, it was to either replace him in the world he knew or the one he sought to forget.

"Doc what's going on?!" The cyan Pegasus known as Rainbow Dash said impatiently as she had yet to figure out why the Doctor looked afraid.

"I'm afraid he's making me choose whether to stay in Equestria or return to my old world." The Doctor said sadly while looking to the floor. These words caused the 6 girls to take up defensive stances around the Doctor.

"I'm sorry ladies. I honestly wish I didn't have to force this choice on the Doctor, but if I don't both your universe and ours will cease to exist." At these words the Doctor looked at the Stallion in shock knowing what he meant.

"The Parallel Purge effect?!" The Doctor said in a terrified voice to which the Stallion nodded.

---------------------------------------------

"The Parawhosiewhatnow?" Rainbow Dash said in a confused voice.

"The Parallel Purge effect is a worst case scenario caused by interference into a parallel world beyond the scheme of the grand design by a Time-Lord or Agent, it entails that both the original universe and the parallel the time-lord now resides in will eventually collide causing both to fade from existence." With this the Stallion looked to the floor in a sad expression.

"Ain't there anyway to stop them watch-a-macallits from crashin'" The Orange Pony with the Stetson known as Applejack said with her famous southern drawl.

"There is one, but I'll need a while to think on it." The Doctor said as he left the library making a motion for nopony to follow him.

"W-what's wrong with the Doctor... he looked so sad." the yellow Pegasus known as Fluttershy said in her typical meek and adorable tone.

"He's sad because if he doesn't choose he will doom both your world and his own." Said the Stallion in a regretful tone of voice.

"What do you mean he has to choose, aren't you supposed to be filling in for him?" Twilight asked in a rather confused tone.

"If only I could, but sadly I'm not a full time-lord until he chooses which universe to stay in and I will become his replacement in the other." The Stallion said in an extremely depressed voice knowing the kind of pain the Doctor must now be going through.

---------------------------------------------

At the Doctor's Tardis House.

"I had completely forgotten about that little snag..." The Doctor said as he stood in his chamber of memories which now had two distinct sides to it one of his lives as a human and the other of the current life as the Chestnut pony who everyone seemed to love. "Actually I couldn't forget... I had simply hoped that it wouldn't happen." The Doctor said looking at the room with tears in his eyes. The pros to staying were just as great as the cons. If he stayed he could spend the rest of his days with his new friends and even gain more regenerations. As the time's he would have only regenerated in this universe once and that was to assume his current form, so it would count as his first life seeing as he had never died here and the new form was technically a rebirth. The con of this was that he would need to repair the Tardis and risk injuring his friends once more in order to send the new Time-Lord on his way. If he left he would never have to worry about them being at risk again, but that would be because he would never see them again. Ever.

"Blast! Why now, why make me choose! I want to stay but, I don't want them hurt!" The Doctor was shouting while pounding his head against the magical water case (It's magically forced into being a glass-like structure but is much safer to do things like this with. As water doesn't risk shattering and leaving shards in your brain.) holding the outfit of the 10th doctor the form he had before coming to Equestria. Soon after leaving the room he ran into a concerned twilight who had just received the explanation in full from the other time-pony known as The Seeker. (If this name is taken please let me know and I'll edit it.)

"I-i really don't know what to say..." Twilight said as tears formed in her eyes. She always had a feeling that this strange pony who appeared in the blue box would leave but, she hoped with all her heart that is was just a paranoid feeling.

"I'm sorry Twilight I wished this day would never come, but as you and I both know we don't always get what we wish for. Even with magic." The Doctor said while giving her a hug. She could tell he had begun to cry which was a first for him by her standards. Sure she had seen him sad, really sad, but she had never seen him actually cry. It was as if crying was something he couldn't do, but she was glad to know he could as that proved all the emotions he felt were real and not some act meant to blend in.

Moments later the Tardis began to beep registering the Time-Lord's successor to one of the universes as it's newest visitor. "Come then Twilight, I believe we have a visitor." The Doctor said whilst rubbing the tears away. They then met the visitor at the front room. "Seeker was it?" The Doctor said to the stallion to which he nodded. "As per the laws of time and space I must know that you are a fit replacement for me no matter what universe I decide to make my home." At these words Twilight looked to the ground knowing that she may never see him again.

"Doctor as per the rules I must remind you that we have a week from our first meeting until the collision will occur so by that time you must have made your decision or your new and old friends alike will be destroyed along with you and I." The Seeker's voice both authoritative and sad as he said this. Much like the Doctor he couldn't stand watching someone get hurt but, he seemed to be honestly saddened by the chain of events he was now forced to begin.

---------------

What will the good doctor decide? Will he even be able to make such a choice? If he doesn't both worlds are doomed?! To see the conclusion stay tuned for Chapter 3: Every rule has a loophole. Till then, Onwards and Upwards!

A quick note from Camlio.

Right, sorry to draw you all from the extremely intriguing worlds of your fictions but, I was hoping to bring up a point that will become a staple in the future of how my stories or rather how to find them operate.
There will always be one character that will be within the stories from start to finish, (In case of a series maybe not.) this character is most likely going to be introduced into the story at the beginning and will stick through to the end. The point I am making is that characters that are important to the story will be shown on the search till they are no longer relevant to the story and therefore background characters. You'll know when the story is wrapping up when the characters number dwindles down to nearly nothing.
I will change the character list to fit the roster for the next chapter as I get the idea to write it so please keep watch on the list and if you believe that character has a great way to stay in the story please let me know and I shall as Picard would say "Make it so!"
Thanks for reading this little rant and don't worry I'll be back sometime today with the next chapter.
Until then Onwards and Upwards!

Chapter 3: Every rule has a loophole.

Ah good day, my friends it seems to be that time again. Time for more MLP/DW, I would like to again point out that with the exception of The Seeker and the new race of 'Who Monster' introduced in this chapter that none of the characters contained after this disclaimer are mine and are the property of their respective owners. Well without further ado, Onwards and Upwards!

Chapter 3: Every rule has a loophole.

It had been three days since the Doctor had spoken with the replacement time-lord known as the Seeker, and was forced to make a decision that would break his two hearts no matter what he chose. If he stayed he risked the safety of his new friends and the lands they called home. As he would need to keep his Tardis active until the Seeker had made it back to the 'Other' universe and that was a problem. As even on the lowest possible output to complete the task, could allow some kind of creature who wished the Doctor harm to track him and begin destroying the new world he began to call home.

Twilight Sparkle had given The Seeker her spare room in the library at the Doctor's request. She had hoped that by the week's end she could have prepared mentally for whatever the Doctor had decided. She knew it was impossible but, she didn't want to believe it. Her attempt to calm the storm in her heart was suddenly stopped by a knock at the door of her bedroom. *Knock-Knock-Knock* It was a knock similar to the way the Doctor entered the Tardis and therefore had become a secret code of sorts for anypony that wanted to speak about the Doctor with Twilight.

"Come in, it's open." Was all she could manage to say her heart sagging in her chest knowing that whoever was at her door was going to ask something about the Doctor or 'Clockwork' as they had dubbed him in an attempt to make him seem more normal. What she didn't expect however was 8 set of eyes entering her room. Spike, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, The Doctor, and The Seeker had all entered her room at once. Upon seeing this, her heart sank further into her chest as the near crying expressions of all her friends including the Seeker and Doctor told her what she feared to hear the most.

"Twilight, I'm afraid I'll be leaving soon and I won't be returning for quite some time." The Doctor's voice was trembling with sadness as he said these words, he looked as he had cried for hours and had no sleep since he had spoken with the Seeker three days ago. Twilight looked as though her heart had just shattered into a thousand tiny pieces. Upon seeing this the Doctor walked over to her and pulled her into a gentle hug with tears running down his face. Aside from the Mail-mare Ditzy Doo, Twilight was the Doctor's best friend and Traveling companion he had in this universe. He had told Ditzy about the events that had taken place and she became inconsolable for two days, until he said that if he didn't go he would put more than her at risk. Which he never wanted to do in the first place, he never wanted anything to happen to the beautiful land he had called home for the past year or to the wonderful friends he had met there.

"Doctor..." Twilight said sadly at which the Doctor looked at her. She could see he had never wanted to leave but, he had no choice. He didn't want them hurt and she understood that. After all when the Rani had tracked the Doctor down and nearly destroyed Equestria while gravely injuring her and her friends, he vowed to never use the Tardis again if it meant that his new friends would get hurt like that again. "Mr. Seeker, please isn't there another way?" She said to the new time-colt who's mane had become a vibrant silver. As his eyes had taken on two different colors, one red, one green. She had figured that this new form was a result of his body preparing for the task of taking the Doctor's place in this universe.

"Miss Twilight... there is a way but, the cost is great and it would involve a great deal of suffering to some." She looked at the stallion who had said these things in a tone like he knew he shouldn't say them, like he had broken some unseen rule. The Doctor turned to The Seeker knowing what he meant shocked that he would have ever mentioned it. "Good lord Seeker! I know you haven't been a time-lord for long, but you realize what that would do to you correct?!" The Doctor's voice one of general concern knowing the loophole of which he spoke. At this the Seeker just nodded not scared, but sad his eyes had begun to water as he prepared to speak.

"Yes Doctor I know, it would cost me this and the life after to preform the task. Unless you were to give one life up in exchange as well, but I wouldn't let you do that even if you attempted to force me as you would forget the friends you had made." With this all the ponies in the room gasped at the Seeker's words save the Doctor who was racking his brain to find a way to stop the novice time-lord from proceeding with this plan. Of which he could find none and hang his head in defeat.

The Seeker's Tardis outside of Ponyville. The last day of the Doctor's week.
"Right, the preparations are in order. Are you really sure you want to do this? It could backfire horribly." The Doctor said with a concerned voice, recalling The Seeker's speech to the others in the room revealing the way the loophole in the law worked.

Flashback to the event's of two nights ago begins.

The Seeker had gathered the group outside his Tardis which was in the form of a 50's American police box revealing why he did not share the doctor's accent. He was from a completely different country on the world they knew, from the city of Manhattan, New York. At learning the name, Twilight had asked if he meant Manehattan to which he kindly said no, Remarking that it was close though. Once the group had gathered, this time he made sure Ditzy Doo was present as he felt the Doctor needed her Support. "Grab a seat this is a long story" He had said to the ponies as they approached. He then begun to go into the explanation of the loophole.

"You see, the Parallel Purge effect takes place due to the traversal of a being needed to keep the universe functioning properly into a parallel universe." He began his speech and the group followed his every word, even Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash who were normally to impatient to sit still for any kind of drawn out lecture sat still and listened. As they both wanted to know how the Doctor could stay without risking their lives and feeling uncontrollable regret. "The Purge is to keep to flow of time and space from collapsing in as cleanly a manner as possible seeing as these universes are supposed to stay separate much like trying to place two blue sided magnet parts next to each other." He said as he even brought out two magnetically charge magnets and tried to force them together to prove his point.

Twilight looked shocked at how much more complex the situation was than she originally thought, she had thought the Doctor appearing was just some fated occurrence not a flaw in time and space in the making. "You see when the Doctor was injured before appearing in your world the fact his body was beginning the Time-Lord regeneration cycle while traveling through time and space. This caused a fatal error in the temporal flux matrix which then caused him to crash into your world." he would drag on for several minutes till he had finally come to the fact of what it would cost for the Doctor to stay. "In order to fix the Flux and allow the Purge to stop it requires all current time lords within the universe to have regenerated once. This would cause the flux to revert on itself and spawn copies of those who had left therefore balancing the equation." He said sadly.

Twilight then remembered that the Doctor had told her and her friends that when a Time-Lord dies they begin to regenerate into a new form while only keeping base knowledge much like a deck of trivia cards. It would mean he would forget every-one of them. At this recollection her eyes began to water and she could hear Ditzy had already started bawling. "Isn't there some way to stop it without harming you both?!" Twilight said in a scared and sad tone to which the rest of the group nodded with tears forming in their eyes knowing what the regeneration would mean and how it would cause them to lose a friend at least in spirit.

"Yes there is but, it will be extremely risky and could in fact kill me twice." The Seeker said in a worried tone of voice as he knew that if this didn't work it would cost him nearly everything. When he said this Twilight looked at him with worry, she had barely known him and yet she saw how his determination to help The Doctor stay with his friends even at the risk of his own death had sparked a whirlpool of feelings within her. She didn't know how to react she wanted to hug him and wish him good-luck after he and the Doctor had finished their internal discussion Time-Lord to Time-Lord. She wanted to hug him and never let go but, she couldn't understand why.

Was it because his disregard for his own safety when it came to Friendship being put before himself made her see him in the same light as her mentor the Solar Princess, Celestia? All she managed to say to him was "Be careful" as the Time-lord pair began to work on the method the Seeker spoke of using his Tardis as a conduit for the Elements of Harmony which was much like a power called the Eye of Harmony in his own universe would allow him to invert the flux and stop the collision of the two universes but, as he had to man the controls of his Tardis if it overloaded and caused him to die the fact that dieing again during the regeneration process was theorized to kill even a time-lord for good worried her.

Flashback ends as the group of Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Ditzy came running up the hill The Seeker's Tardis had called home. The Elements of Harmony in tow.

"Ah wonderful, looks like it's time then." The Seeker said with a sheepish smile in an attempt to calm the worried group as they began to summon the element's powers towards the Tardis. He had gone inside alone as the blast would only affect him that way if anything went wrong. Once he had started the Tardis' flight routine the girls released the blast of Harmony as he had said they needed to hit and make contact just before the Black and white checkered box was completely gone. They almost missed the mark as the blast's tail end bounced into thin air before vanishing. This event caused the girls to worry that they had messed up and had destroyed their new friend, while failing the Doctor. These thoughts caused Ditzy to Tackle hug the Doctor with all she had crying her eyes out fearing it would be the last time they would see each other ever.

Twilight hug her head as she heard the sound of trumpets coming from behind them, which caused her to reel around in joy. The Seeker had told Twilight to send a letter to the Princess that would ask her to wait for the Checkered Tardis and to please bring it's occupant with her to Ponyville if it had appeared within Canterlot, and surely enough it did. Her expression turned from joy to sorrow as she noticed the complete and utter lack of the Seeker. She wanted to ask if he was alright but, she feared the worst. What she didn't know is that The Seeker used the Tardis mid-flight to change the letter via his sonic screwdriver to ask the Princess to visit her and tell her that if he did return he would be in the Doctor's Tardis not his own. The Hall of memories to be more precise.

As the regal white alicorn relayed the message to the sobbing Twilight Sparkle she could hardly believe it, the Princess even showed the letter to twilight to prove it. It read "Dear Solar Princess, I am a novice Time-Lord known as The Seeker and I have used the power of my Tardis to alter this letter, it will only change if I make the trip successfully and prevent the flux that would cause your world and my own to collapse into each other causing them both to be destroyed in the process. As the sweet Unicorn Twilight Sparkle would no doubt be worried that I had not returned, I beseech you to go to her side and bring her this letter as proof of the message. If her or her friends wishes to find me, It will be possible that I manage to get myself re-located within the Doctor's Hall of Memories within his Tardis as I must eject mine back into the other universe. This is the way to prevent the flux from returning. Please let Miss Sparkle know that I'm sorry for all the worry I've caused her within the week I've known her. As the fact of this letter's appearance may be only due to the safety of your world and my own sacrifice so I pray for the best and hope she is well. Sincerely, The Seeker."

As she read the letter aloud Twilight was unsure of how she felt. He had saved her world and the Doctor's while allowing him to stay without risk, but it was possible she may never see him again and she needed to find out. "Princess I need to go to the Doctor's house right away, please excuse me." She said with a bow to excuse herself then ran towards the Doctor's house.

---------------------------

The Doctor's House, the hall of memories.
Twilight had rushed into the room at full speed with the Doctor and Ditzy following close behind her. Her heart sank as she saw the room devoid of life. "I'm sorry Twilight..." Ditzy said as she walked over and placed a hoof on her shoulder. The fact that the first truly noble time-lord he had encountered save himself had seemingly made the ultimate sacrifice for him and his friends caused the Doctor's emotional dam to break and he joined Ditzy and Twilight as they had already begun to cry.

"What's up with all the noise? Ouch, My head feels like a train just crashed into me." A voice had called out from behind one of the cases in the room and Twilight quickly ran to investigate it. The Doctor and Ditzy watched as her eyes lit up with an extreme amount of joy. "What's over there Twilight?" The Doctor said as she managed to pull the half-asleep Time-lord from his spot behind the case. At these events The Doctor smiled. "Bloody fantastic! Absolutely brilliant! Your alive and that's just amazing seeing the odds were not in your favor." He said as he noticed something in The Seeker's hoof it appeared to be a small plush of Twilight made to go onto his sonic screwdriver's key-chain.

"Well I had some help..." he said gently before falling back asleep. Twilight noticed the key-chain and smiled as she had given it to him the night he asked her to write the letter as a good-luck charm.

And so the new Time-Lord known as the Seeker became a resident of Ponyville. He received his official Time-Lord certification along with a new gadget and Time-Lord name soon after, he was from then on known as The Shield due to his willingness to put himself at risk for no better reason then to protect somepony else. The gadget he received was a strange sword with a red handle and a blade of blue light called the Chrono Cutter. Which was a much more offensive version of the sonic screwdriver as it was meant to be used in unison with it when battling the aliens that would react to the Tardis' Presence. This alone caused the Doctor to gain the confidence to get the Tardis up and running again. As if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He then returned to his traveling way's accompanied by the ever faithful Ditzy Doo and her Daughters, Dinky and Sparkler. The Shield had left under orders from the Princess to Travel the world and gain as much knowledge as he could.

"A year had past and the new Time-Lord became somewhat of a legend, a Crimson colored pony with Silver hair and strange eyes, who wielded a sword with a purple grip that spewed blue flames from the blade. The blade had a small plush pony attached to the hilt he claimed was for good luck. He was known to some as the Crimson Knight due to his unwavering sense of justice and willingness to defend the weak. News soon reached Twilight that the Crimson Knight was seen heading towards Ponyville. When she heard this she couldn't help but, smile. But as for what happened... I won't say, that would spoil the surprise & I detest spoilers."

The Narrator was shown to be the Doctor staring at the screen with his trademark grin. He waved as the screen faded with him shouting "That's a story for another time... Onwards and Upwards!"

*Doctor whooves ending theme plays. (Sounds like the DW/MLP-FIM themes combined.)*

Hoped you liked this little dive into my creative side, If you have an idea for the Next story go ahead and let me know.

Oh if you thought I was kidding when you read the line Doctor Whooves used at the end of chapter 3 about it being "A story for another time." I wasn't kidding and the planning for the next story is underway. I'm hoping to find some good Ideas in my comment boxes or messages, for a plot and title as all I've got now is The Shield's return to Ponyville. So yeah ideas would be nice. Thanks for reading and cya soon.

A look forward in time.

Announcing the Sequel to Paging the Doctor! The Librarian and her Knight in Crimson Armor has it's first chapter ready and is waiting for the board's approval before it's release. So while you wait here's a preview. Yes Doctor, I know you hate spoilers I never said you had to watch!

A year had past since the Doctor Departed with Ditzy and her family. The strange Time-pony The Seeker has not been seen in the same amount of time as he was dispatched on a mission by Princess Celestia to familiarize himself with the world he now called home. Twilight Sparkle had become quite bored with the fact that after both of the Time-Ponies had left the excitement seemed to fade with them. A week before her birthday she hears a rumor of a Crimson Knight who wields a blade of light with a small plush of her attached to it's hilt. Apparently from the rumor he would arrive in Ponyville on her birthday, she had hoped this was the sign she needed to break free of her boredom. When the Crimson Knight arrives in Ponyville, Twilight will learn a valuable lesson. Be careful what you wish for... You just might get it.

*A mechanical whirr is heard as a light can be seen in the darkness* "Primary target acquired Elements of Harmony. Proceed with Priority One extermination!"

The fate of everything, rests on the shoulders of Two. *You are looking at Twilight through someone's eyes.* "Twilight, you sure your up to this?" The voice from your vision, (obviously male) asks as she nods. "I'll be ready for anything. As long as your with me..." Her face turns bright red as she said this before closing her eyes and tensing up. "Alright then, let's begin. Hold still or this will hurt a lot worse." The sound of a knife being drawn and used to remove something from living tissue are heard as the screen fades to black at these words.
