Caramel's life could be considered a simple one at best, but a boring one at first. He's never been one to easily make friends, that's for sure. He sticks to himself mostly and attempts to stay out of the way of the lives of ponies around him. It's easier that way. Simpler. Talking to ponies is a challenging enough task on its own merits, but romance? He's never dreamed of romance.

Of course, that all changed when Big Macintosh entered his life.

When winter's thaw comes at last, we all learn to move with the tide of the melted snow. We learn to continue our lives from what we once had before time had stopped the best that we can. For better or for worse, we follow the flowing water wherever it might take us.

Following the events of "Melting Snow", Caramel and Big Macintosh continue to explore the depths of their relationship, the two growing closer with each passing day. The days feel short, spring approaching as the seeds of the apple fields are planted one by one, roots sprouting as they firmly plant themselves comfortably into the new soil, ready to sprout and explore the world.

It's been a long year since Soarin and Braeburn went their separate ways due to Soarin's work, and somehow every opportunity for the two to meet up was canned in one way or another. They keep in touch through letters, trying to keep their pathways of life entangled no matter how far apart they remain. What either pony was half-expecting to be a simple week of passion and discovery grew, in a way, through this connection. But still, it's not enough. This becomes clear when Braeburn's letters one day cease to arrive.

(Note: It is highly recommended that you read My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic: Stallion Edition chapters 1-12 first. Otherwise, things will not make sense.)

Everyone knows that a cutie mark is what defines a pony, and that it is among the most important moments in a young pony's life.

But every cutie mark has a story, that tells something about the pony that it is a part of. Some stories are more interesting than others, but no two stories are ever the same.

When a trio of fillies (and one colt) set out to learn from one stallion how he got his cutie mark, they will discover a mystery like no other. And the truth, will redefine a particular friendship in a very important way.

Ever since Flash had his incident, he has been regretting his decision, and is now has the pressure of possibly losing his job he worked so hard for and losing a close spot to his beloved Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Flash is now suffering from depression, and with nopony wanting to talk to him anymore, Flash questions his sanity, and, in what direction will his life go as he struggles to pull himself out of his depression. Just how long will it take for Flash to finally crack, or with somepony help him before that day comes?
