As Sunset Shimmer allowed herself some time to reflect on the recent events two days after the Friendship Games, a couple of friends come her way to tell her someone has requested her presence.

This visit, however, is nothing like she could have possibly expected. Will this allow Sunset’s wings to burn incandescent to fly higher than ever before, or will they be cut, their fire extinguished along with her hopes?

Now that all of the girls have reunited after the events of the Fall Formal, it's time to party! And what better occasion than a costume party for Halloween? Pinkie Pie is hosting the shindig and Rarity offers to make costumes for each of her friends. What costume will each of the girls choose and will Rarity be able to pull off making all of them in time? What about their newest friend, Sunset Shimmer? Will the party be a nightmare night or a chance for old and new friends to share a laugh?

Twilight Sparkle knows they’re lucky, and she’s not stupid. All her human counterpart wants is to try and understand how the magic works. But she’s in love, and as logical as she tries to be, she can’t handle a human version of herself being around her girlfriend Sunset all of the times she can’t be.
