The summer sun celebration is about to begin and Nightmare Moon is soon to be released from her lunar prison. In a world without Twilight Sparkle, how would Nightmare Moon be defeated and what will become of Ponyville?

When one of Twilight's spells goes wrong, Rarity finds herself perceiving the world in a very different way. She must overcome her new found perception in order to try and restore herself to normal. That might be easier said than done.

Rarity keeps a journal filled with the personal reflections of her life. In it, she writes on everything from how last night's date went to her most recent business ventures. It's more than her day to day diary though, it's who she is. This little black notebook is also where Rarity keeps her deepest fears written down. Under heavy stress for a current order she mistakenly leaves it out in the open. Twilight Sparkle, being unaware of the nature of this book and being unable to resist an open book, reads the first few paragraphs, giving her a glimpse into a side of Rarity she never knew was there.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack are the closest of friends and often rivals, competing in various ways, especially as Ponyville's top athletes. When they both ask the same mare out on a date, though, a competition begins that will strain everypony's friendships.

This kind of situation has torn apart countless friendships...but when the fate of all of Equestria may depend on you remaining friends, how do you handle conflicts of the heart?

A day together on the farm with Applejack is all that Rarity could ask for, and more. But good-natured teasing can go too far, and words can bring painful memories to the surface. Rarity struggles not only to console Applejack, but to help the broken mare overcome a past full of shame and regret.

When Applejack goes to a strip club, she finds some pony that manages to catch her eye. Who would guess that the pony she falls for is her exact opposite!

Ever since joining the Ponytones, Fluttershy has slowly been building the confidence to sing in front of larger and larger crowds; her upcoming performance on Nightmare Night will be her biggest accomplishment yet. Even still, she isn't aware that the tower of courage she has built is standing on a fragile house of cards, and almost anything could cause it to collapse. Even a few words from a friend.

James J. Quinn is an ordinary guy living in the town of Carney, Wisconsin. He's got ordinary parents, an ordinary sister and brother-in-law, and an ordinary nephew. As you can tell, he leads an ordinary life.

Then, one night, he meets a strange, disoriented woman in the woods. A woman with purple hair and sapphire eyes. A woman with three blue gems tattooed on her hips. A woman who claims to be a unicorn from a land called Equestria. A woman who calls herself Rarity.

This woman is also in possession of an medallion that has brought a pursuing evil to our world. Over the course of the next week, James and Rarity will develop a deep bond, heal a few wounds, and, joined by a few other Equestrian visitors, battle a madman for the fate of two universes.

Twilight has the power to change the biological structure of anypony, or anydragon into something else. And, after seeing Rarity fall over other stallions, Spike the dragon wants Twilight to change him into a pony so that he could finally have a chance to be with the mare of his dreams. She gives in and casts a spell on Spike, turning him into a pony. However, this spell is temporary, unless Spike gets his cutie mark within three days.

But becoming a pony for the sake of Rarity comes at a price; Twilight Sparkle will lose her one and only number one assistant, something that is dear to both her and Spike.

Rarity is such posh and proper pony, and she won't stop pestering ponies until they're as posh and proper as her, no matter how many times it back fires. "Darlings! Please help me! This isn't right! This isn't right at all! They're watching. They twist things to their designs. I wish to Princess Celestia I was just insane! But they're real! And whenever they arrive, my suffering begins. How many times until I'm ground into dust?"
