The dazzlings: Adagio Dazzle, Sonata Dusk, and Aria Blaze have been defeated in the battle of bands. They are broken and with no mode of sustaining themselves until Adagio sees Sunset's magic book....

After losing their magic, the Dazzlings are hit hard by shame and sadness. None are more hopeless than Adagio Dazzle, who loses all light in her life and begins to sing a swan song. For sirens, this is suicide.

Sonata Dusk begs for the help of Sunset Shimmer and her friends to stop the song and keep Adagio alive, but they discover that saving a life is more difficult than saving a school, and they may not be able to keep their former enemy from fading away forever.

This story was inspired by the song "Never Too Late" by Three Days Grace.

"Main 6" is tagged but Twilight is not in this story.

This story is a sequel to Sonata Time

After Sonata helped her fellow sirens from being homeless. They are know going to Canterlot High.
As Sonata enjoys her new life with her friends Adagio is hiding a dark secret from both Sonata and Aria.

On top of that Sunset Shimmer tries to befriend Adagio. Will Adagio accept this friendship?

Sunset Shimmer was vital to the defeat of the Dazzlings at the Battle of the Bands. Now a heroine instead of a villain, she accepts the mantle of leadership while struggling against her own past. Sunset Shimmer will extend a hand in friendship, which starts an adventure that will create far-reaching consequences for her friends on both sides of the mirror. This story begins two or three days after the conclusion of Equestria Girls 2: Rainbow Rocks.

A stopper now jammed through the mirror that once bridged two worlds together only once every thirty moons, Sunset Shimmer takes what may be her final chance to confront all that she is and was. Twilight once brought to Sunset an option that was once thought to be long since lost. A quest, one that all apprentices must take; it is now Sunset Shimmer's one and only mission.

After the events of Rainbow Rocks, Sunset grows concerned about what might happen as Senior Prom approaches; Canterlot High doesn't have the best track record when it comes to big events, and she's afraid that, like the last two, this one will also be accompanied by atrocity. Her friends claim that she should relax as there's nothing to worry about, but Sunset retains a nagging fear in her gut that catastrophe is about to strike - again.

However, after she encounters an interesting individual - one that she didn't even know she'd see again - working at Canterlot High, she finds herself with an even bigger problem: figuring out how to, by some miracle, have a date at Senior Prom not go horribly wrong.

This story is a one-shot-kill.

After the events of Rainbow Rocks, Sonata Dusk find herself in a sticky situation, she doesn't have money so she gets a job at Sugarcube Corner and finds herself entangled in the life of the one girl who helped stop the Dazzling's plans.

(Edited and improved) When Adagio leaves Aria and Sonata living alone on the streets they don't know what to do, but Sunset Shimmer and the Rainbooms show them that everyone deserves a second chance.

Sunset Shimmer and the Rainbooms show the two sirens friendship and help them redeem themselves, as well as helping them start new lives as normal humans without powers.

When Sunset Shimmer decided to keep tabs on Sonata, she didn't think she'd get to actually sit down with her and help her.

After the finale at the battle of the bands Sonata Dusk runs from a group of angry students wanting revenge. Sonata finally escapes into a supply closet hoping no one will find her.
Sunset Shimmer one of the angry students attempts to find the Dazzlings until she hears crying coming from a supply closet and goes to investigate.
What happens next is a lesson for both.
