> First day of school...Again

It was a brand new day as the three Siren girls were fast asleep in their new beds. After their defeat in Battle of the Bands last week, Sonata went back to school where she had become friends with her former enemies the Rainbooms. Adagio and Aria stayed home where Adagio tried to figure out what to do in order to survive. However things seemed grim until Sonata found help from one of her friends. She got them to live in Alternative Housing where they can be fed and prevented from being homeless. Also Sonata’s personal favorite was going to school with her best friends. Yesterday they left everything they had but their clothes to start a new life in the Alternative house. They had to share a room with some annoying ginger kid with an obnoxious voice. Regardless they made the best of their situation. Even though Adagio wouldn’t admit it she was very proud of Sonata for what she had done.




Ms. Harshwinny was walking door to door to make sure the students were up and ready for school. As she opened their room she saw the new girls still asleep in their bunk beds. As she looked around she saw Twist on the top bunk with her pillow wrapped around her ears. She was confused until she heard Adagio snoring like a Viking from below her. She was amazed the other two girls were able to stay asleep. She then began to ring her bell to get them up. As if on cue Sonata sprang from her top bunk with a smile on her face. She jumped down from her bunk and landed in front of Aria who was rubbing the sleep from her eyes. As Aria began to open her eyes she saw Sonata’s butt in her face.




“Sonata get your lame butt out of my face.” Aria said looking away.




‘’Hey my Butt isn’t lame. Your butt is lame.” Sonata said turning to Aria.




The two girls began to argue over whose butt was better. Ms. Harshwinny couldn’t help but rub her temples as they bickered back and forth over something so stupid.




“Can you two shut up!? Gaah I was in the middle of a wonderful dream.. Then you two idiots woke me up with your stupid butt talk.” Adagio said waking up grumpy.




“Sorry girls it’s time for you to wake up and get ready for school.” Ms. Harshwinny said clearing her throat to get their attention.




Sonata gleed as she and her two friends got ready for school. Granted the other two weren’t as excited about it due to being just human was lame and they really didn’t like anybody. They only went because it meant so much to Sonata. Also they had nothing better to do all day and Ms. Harshwinny said they had to. They walked onto the bus as Sonata smiled and waved at their bus driver. He wore a brown buttoned shirt and was always cranky. Sonata liked him because his hair looked like Johnny Bravo from when cartoons were cool and not crap. As the girls sat in the back of the bus, Sonata asked them if they were super excited about going to school as much as she was. They both rolled their eyes at her as Aria made a comment about her being the worst. Sonata then shook her head and told her that she was. As they began to argue Adagio told them both to shut up as she got out a book from her book bag that she had been reading.




She had this book for a very long time. She would often read this book when ever she was feeling overwhelmed. Even though she was a leader she had her flaws. Sometimes having to be the one to think of everything takes its toll on a great mind. She also read it whenever she would feel alone at night. She was a very deep person but never showed it to Sonata and especially not to Aria. She was to be strong in front of them regardless of how she felt deep down.




Aria was looking out the window watching everything run by. She had her ear buds in listening to screamo. She didn’t care about anything at all. The world could burn to ashes and she wouldn’t even shed a tear. However the only reason she went was to make Sonata happy. Granted she would never say it out loud to her or Adagio. But she showed that she loved them in her own way by throwing insults at them.  Sonata just stared out in the aisle looking out for the school. She was happy that they would stick together forever. Even though she was seen as the clueless ditz she was smarter than that. She knew deep down that both Adagio and Aria cared deeply for her without them saying anything. However she would never point it out because they would deny it like the Santa present thing.




They finally got to the school where Sonata saw Sunset standing on the steps waiting for them. She smiled and waved while running over there to greet her friend. Sonata ran up the steps and gave Sunset a hug. She stated how super happy she was to have all her friends coming to school today. As if on cue Adagio and Aria walked up the steps looking at Sunset. Sunset smiled at the two girls and welcomed them back. She then handed them their class schedules.




‘’Thanks bacon head. I can’t wait to learn.” Aria said sarcastically. 




‘’It’s Sunset Shimmer not Bacon Head. And well I hope you girls will be on your best behavior.” Sunset said being a bit annoyed with the remark.




“Aria be nice to the former villain.” Adagio said with a smirk on her own face.




Sunset was getting annoyed with the petty insults. Right when she was about to say something the bell rang for class. Sunset told them they should go to class and that being late would not be good since it’s their first day of school. Adagio and Aria rolled their eyes as they went off. Sonata waved bye to them as she and Sunset went to math class. As Sunset sat down she got her number two pencil out ready for the math test. She turned to Sonata and told her good luck as she turned back to her test. As she started answering the questions she couldn’t help but wonder how will the other two be in school.




First period




Adagio and Aria entered their first class. It was science with Mr. Dark Matter. The teacher introduced them to the class and told them to take their seats. Aria sat next to Vinyl Scratch who was listening to music on her head phones. Adagio saw a spare seat in the front and took it. As she did she noticed she was sitting next to Applejack. Applejack greeted Adagio to which she returned a crooked smile as she greeted back. Adagio couldn’t understand why Sonata wanted to be friends with humans in the first place let alone with a country hick. Granted Adagio did not like humans at all but she placed southerners on her top most useless humans alive list.




The teacher soon started to talk about the subject of the day. They were going to make potato lamps. The class was psyched to hear this. Well all but Aria and Vinyl who were sitting in the back listening to each others music. The teacher then handed out the equipment to the students. Adagio was smart but she really didn’t understand how this was suppose to work. Applejack asked if she was ok to which she replied by shaking her head. As they started to work on their project Adagio placed the wire wrong. Applejack told her that she did it wrong then proceeded to fix it. Adagio was very annoyed by having a southerner tell her she did something wrong. It wasn’t until she saw her working like a pro on it and the light started to work that she realized that she wasn’t half bad. Adagio was amazed at how smart Applejack was and could not help but feel some respect for her. But at the same time she still didn’t like being out witted by someone like her.




“See Sugar cube that is what you call git r dun.” Applejack said. 




“Wow I’m amazed. Mostly southerners only know how to make out with their kin folk and get drunk.” Adagio said with a smirk even though she did not know why she said it.




Applejack was very offended by the statement and told her how offensive it was. Adagio apologized to her and for some reason meant it. Soon time was up and the teacher went around looking at each person’s project. He was amazed to see how well everyone did. As he got to Aria and Vinyl he knocked on their table to wake them up before congratulating them on a job well done on their project. Adagio looked at Applejack and told her that she did a great job and she rather enjoyed working together. Applejack smiled and said thanks as they shook hands. Adagio didn’t understand why she was doing this but it was as if a little voice in her head wanted her to.




Second Period




Their next period was gym and Aria was psyched. Adagio was less enthused about it. As they entered the building Aria already saw Rainbow Dash. As Rainbow got up from doing push ups she saw the two girls. Since Sunset told her to be nice she went over to them and said hi.




“Oh hi what was your name again? Skittles?” Aria said with a smirk.




“No it’s Rainbow Dash you Monster High reject.” Rainbow said glaring at her.




“I’m sorry what?” Aria asked confused.




Rainbow then told her what she meant by calling her a Monster High reject. Aria laughed at her and told her she was sorry. That she doesn’t watch kiddie shows. Rainbow was a bit annoyed because she only watched them with Scootaloo. She told her that she didn’t watch those movies that she is a fan of scary movies like Sombra King horror films. Aria laughed at her again then told her those movies couldn’t scare a five year old. She told Rainbow Dash that the Night of the Inside Out Zombies was way scarier. Suddenly a man in a blue sweat shirt with black hair and a nose ring came in and over heard the two girls conversation.




“GIIRRLSS!!! First off Attack of the Killer Cabbages is THE best horror FILM! And second who is ready to play DODGE BALL!!!?” Iron Will roared.




The students ran and grabbed balls and got into teams. Adagio was confused as to what was going on until a ball flew and hit her in the face. Suddenly Snails was laughing as he pointed at her saying she was out. Adagio clenched her fist about to chew him out until Aria yelled to her that it’s a part of the game. She then threw a ball at Snips which hit him in the face then hit Snails getting them both out. Adagio stormed to the bench then sat down. She threatened Snips and Snails to sit some where else or she would kill them. The two trembled as they went on the other side. Mean while Rainbow Dash was throwing and dodging the best she could not to get hit. Her target was on Aria. As the balls were flying every where it soon turned to one on one. It was just Rainbow Dash and Aria alone on the court. They tried their best to hit the other. But only to fail with the other having just as much mad skills as the other. At what felt like a stand still Snips and Snails started to root for Rainbow Dash to win. As those two cheered Rainbow on, Adagio didn’t know what came over her but she got up and demanded Aria to win and kick that scrawny girl’s can. Aria and Rainbow Dash just glared at each other. They knew they couldn’t just keep dodging over and over. So they both started to run at each other. As soon as they got close enough they threw the balls with as much force as they could muster. The balls passed each other and then slammed into the others guts. They both went down as everyone stood quiet. Iron Will grinned as he paid attention to each of them. The two girls got up and asked who won. Iron Will looked at both and said it’s a tie. They couldn’t believe what they heard as they soon glared at each other. They both knew this couldn’t pass.




Third Period.




Aria and Adagio walked to Art class. Aria was still mad that she was tied with skittles. Adagio thought it was stupid but didn’t bother to question it. As they finally got to class Sonata waved them over to their table. As they sat down Adagio noticed Pinkie pie and Sonata talking and laughing together. She noticed how happy Sonata was and not her typical Taco Tuesday happy or something stupid like that. But a happiness that comes from the heart. Sunset noticed this and smiled at Adagio before saying how great they were together. Adagio broke her train of thought and heard what Sunset said. She then asked if she was a ditz too. Sunset was kind of offended by this and told her that Pinkie wasn’t dumb or anything. That she just follows the beat of her own drum like Sonata. 




“Ok class today we will be sculpting clay. I want you all to sculpt something that says YOU. Inspired by you and..DA MAGIKS” Ms. Photoshop said handing clay out to the class.




After about fifteen minutes Ms. Photoshop got up from her chair and walked around looking at everyone's creations. When she walked by her daughter’s table she was disgusted. Photofinish created a camera to represent her desire to be a photographer. Ms. Photoshop told her daughter that it wasn’t good enough for it didn’t capture the magic and at the rate she was going she would end up like her older brother Photobomb. As Photofinish argued with her mother the three girls were getting done with their projects. When Sunset and Adagio looked up they both were in shock at what they saw. Pinkie Pie and Sonata made a twenty inch tall well detailed T-rex with a party hat on. When Photoshop came over her jaw dropped at the display. Not only was it impossible for the clay to be this tall due to the amount given but it made no sense at all. Ms. Photoshop rubbed her temple as she asked both Pinkie and Sonata what did their art mean. But dared not ask how it got so big. Due to the last teacher to ask Pinkie about her logic fell into a concussion. 




“Oh that’s easy. See sometimes I feel like my arms are shorter then other peoples. And they are sometimes too short to reach things. Oh and I love parties and cake and ice-cream and cupcakes.  Also I get my sister Maud to play dinosaur with me. *squee*” Pinkie explained.




“ For realzies? Me too, I feel like my arms are shorter and I love playing dinosaur.*squee* But Adagio and Aria say dinosaurs are stupid.” Sonata said psyched.




Both Adagio and Ms. Photoshop thought to themselves; Oh my god there are two of them. She then looked over at the other girls art work. Adagio made a very well made small bird. While Sunset made a poorly made star. Aria’s clay how ever was just smashed into what looked like a mud puddle.




“I know it’s not perfect by a long shot. But I made a star because my friends make me feel like I really matter. And that I am not alone ever in this world just like Stars are never alone in the sky. “ Sunset said being a little embarrassed that her art wasn’t as good.




“I made a beautiful song bird. Because like a song bird I was loved by all until someone stole my voice.” Adagio said glaring at Sunset. However only she knew the bird truly meant she felt like a mother bird to Aria and Sonata.




“Yes those are lovely. And you Aria? Let me guess your puddle is meant to be how you feel like you're not good enough. That all you are is a small puddle in the road and you want to be more?” Ms. Photoshop asked.




“No it’s just beaten clay. Can I get an A  now?” Aria said crossing her arms.




She gave them all an A but Aria who received a C- for at least participating. 




Lunch Time




As all the girls sat down eating and talking about random things. Rainbow Dash called Aria for a new challenge. Aria then looked at Rainbow with a smile on her face. Making a comment about losing to her. This in turn made Rainbow mad and demand a test of strength. However Fluttershy cut in saying that fighting in school was prohibited. Also apologizing for getting in the middle. Rainbow Dash said it wasn’t a fight but an arm wrestle. Aria rolled her eyes and told her no. However after Rainbow made the comment about losing to her Aria got mad and then accepted her challenge. As they were arm wrestling Pinkie cheered Rainbow on as Applejack just watched while eating an apple. Sunset looked over at Adagio who was drinking her milk. She decided to ask if they will be ok without those gems.




“Yeah without yer fancy rocks aren’t ya gonna starve or something?” Applejack asked turning her attention on them.




“What gave you that idea? We are not Changelings who must feed off of emotions. We just feed to get stronger like an old friend of ours. All that happens when we feed is we stay the same age and become more powerful. However due to us feeding at age seventeen for us and sixteen for Sonata in human years, we are just going to age and live happy human lives without any issues.” Adagio said looking at Sunset to drop the conversation.




Sunset stopped talking about it knowing that as humans they are going to die when they get old. But didn’t want to say that in front of Sonata. She then smiled feeling relaxed to know they weren't going to starve to death.  As she turned to look at Sonata who was playing with Fluttershy's little pet game, she smiled knowing that Sonata and her friends would be ok.




Fourth Period




It was language arts class and Adagio was sitting in front of Fluttershy. While Aria was sitting in the back not wanting to be seen. The teacher Mr. Adverb walked in and greeted the class. As he went to the board he started to talked about poems and what they mean. He then told them that the assignment was to make up their own poems. Fluttershy squeed as she loved writing poems. Aria slammed her head on the desk only to say ow because she did it too hard. Adagio let a grin slide up as she too enjoyed poems. Mostly Shake Spear. She started to think about what she should write until it came to her. After about ten minutes Mr. Adverb told them time was up. He then began to call them up one by one. One girl made a poem about rocks while the other made a poem about ponies. A cross eyed girl came up with a poem about muffins. It was soon Fluttershy’s turn to read. She smiled as she went to the front of the classroom.  




“White is my color. My fur is so fluffy like no other. Tail so bushy; nose so pink. Whiskers so long, they make me unique. Pointed ears on top of my head, I can’t wait until I am fed. Who am I, What can I be? I’m a cute little bunny; Can’t you see?” Fluttershy read as she sat back down.




The class started to clap for Fluttershy as she went to her desk. Aria was making the shooting herself in the head with a gun gesture. Mr. Adverb then called upon Aria then Adagio.




This is so boring, I should be snoring. This really sucks, I want to up chuck.” Aria said going back to her desk.




“ Fire! Fire! Ferocious fire! You restless wall of flame. Fire! Fire! Roaring higher! Your fury to never tame. You show no mercy – no regard. A writhing army uncontrolled. At least you don’t discriminate, Selecting to exterminate. All dealt with equal pain untold.




Fire! Fire! Ferocious fire! You restless wall of flame. Fire! Fire! Roaring higher! Your fury to never tame. In time of drought you run amok. An open chimney of the land. Prefer to scorch than suffocate. In blinding zeal, incinerate To blackened vista now unmanned.




Fire! Fire! Ferocious fire! You restless wall of flame. Fire! Fire! Roaring higher! Your fury to never tame. Destruction be your only goal For you to vent your jealous wrath On gentle life with caring soul And human victims to console. As you are none, but psychopath.




Fire! Fire! Ferocious fire! You restless wall of flame. Fire! Fire! Roaring higher! Your fury to never tame. So there it is you are but flame. Reacting gases to adorn.  With orange flicks of flailing arms, You’re flaunting your demonic charms! Now leave us for bereaved to mourn.




Fire! Fire! Ferocious fire! You restless wall of flame. Fire! Fire! Roaring higher! Your fury to never tame. So many lives to claim.” Adagio said looking at the class scared out of their wits of her even more now.




As she sat back down Fluttershy leaned up and asked if she really loved something that could be so evil. Adagio smirked and said yes. Fluttershy then sank lower into her seat.




Fifth Period.




Adagio and Aria walked into the history classroom. They took their seats as the teacher Mr. Stone Age cleared his throat and told them to get into a group of four. As the other students got into their own groups, Adagio and Aria didn’t know who to sit with until Rarity waved them to come over to sit with her and Derpy. So as they took their seats they got out their history books. Mr. Stone Age told them to open to where they left off yesterday. Derpy looked over and told them to turn to page two ten. She was the hall monitor and wanted to help out everybody she could. It turns out they were talking about ancient Greece. Adagio personally loved this topic. Aria on the other hand just put her face in the book and slept. As the teacher went on in the book he got to the part about the Sirens.




“Now Sirens were known to be ugly creatures that had a face only a mother could love. They used their beautiful voices to lure men to their dooms.” Said Mr. Stone Age




Aria jerked her head back up and Adagio started to become mad. Rarity looked over to see them with rage in their eyes. Rarity asked what was wrong until Adagio raised her hand. The teacher asked what was it. Adagio then calmly said that in some mythologies Sirens were seen as beautiful, even sex symbols. The teacher just chuckled and told her that was false information because Sirens have always been said to be ugly. The two girls clenched their fists ready to chew out the teacher for daring to say such a thing until Rarity jumped in.




“Well maybe the Sirens were beautiful and it made some other mythical creature very jealous of them and so they spread lies. Like say Medusa?” Rarity said nervously hoping to calm down the very ticked off Sirens.




The two girls realized she could be right. Then sat back down.




“Hmm guess your right marshmallow. Medusa was always jealous of how good we looked compared to her dry skin.” Aria said cooling down.




“Yeah it’s really the humans fault for being so stupid and gullible. It’s amazing they don’t believe in some big footed ape or sea creature in some lake. You humans are sad indeed” Adagio said with a smirk on her face.




Rarity was glad she was able to get them to calm themselves before they did something they would regret. Also she was amazed that it worked and that they even new Medusa at all. Granted they are not of this world like Sunset but still.




Sixth period.




It was their last class as they sat beside each other. None of the other girls they knew were in this classroom. It was just them this time. As the teacher Ms. Right Angle handed out the worksheets to work on, Aria passed Adagio a note asking does she have any plans for them. Adagio wrote no. Aria was a bit annoyed and past another note again. This time asking is this really worth it. Is this what their lives have become. Adagio read the note long and hard. She thought of all her plans from over the past month. But knew deep down in her heart that they were futile. The gems were broken and could never be fixed again. She even went and bought special necklaces and gems that were said to work but didn’t. She even thought about going back home. But it was pointless because only Princess Twilight Sparkle could use the mirror. Adagio had no more plans, no more schemes, nothing. She figured the only way to live now was simply to be typical human beings with the others. Who knows maybe she and Aria would like it without being hated or having to move town to town. But she also knew something else deep down in her heart. Aria and Sonata knew nothing about it because she didn’t want them to worry. Adagio smiled and wrote back on the paper saying yes and we should try to make the best of it. Aria read the note kinda mad but at the same time she understood her decision.



> Going to the movies

The bell for school to end had finally rung. Rainbow dash, Sonata Dusk, and Sunset Shimmer all sighed in relief after having a hard days worth of studying and learning. Rainbow of course was the most exited due to her being all around lazy. As the three girls made their way out of the door and into the crowded hallway Sunset asked Sonata if Adagio and Aria could come to Sugarcube Corner. Rainbow Dash’s face turned bright red at the very mention of Aria’s name. She was still steamed about tying with her and wanted a rematch with the Siren. Both Sunset and Sonata looked at Rainbow Dash with a confused expression on their face.

"Whats wrong Dash?" Sunset asked as she grabbed her book bag from her locker. "Did something happened today?"

"Yeah me and that Monster High reject tied today at dodge ball." Rainbow replied gritting her teeth. " I don’t tie with anybody ever!"

"For realzies? Well she was always the athlete out of the three of us." Sonata commented while stuffing her binder in her overstuffed book bag.

Sunset chuckled a bit after hearing Rainbow Dash tied with somebody for once and of all the people it was Aria Blaze. Rainbow glared at her as she grabbed her skateboard and told them she met up with them at Sugarcube Corner. As she rode off down the hall Principal Luna caught her. She told Rainbow Dash not to ride in the hallways at the top of her lungs. Everyone around her including Rainbow covered their ears as Luna yelled. She then crashed right into the wall in which everybody started to laugh.

"See Ms. Dash this is why one shouldn’t skate in the hall." Luna said walking toward Rainbow Dash. "You could have seriously hurt yourself. I will let you of with One warning is that clear Ms. Dash?"

"Ah..Yes ma’am. " Rainbow Dash replied dusting herself off before leaving.

Sunset chuckled after seeing Rainbow Dash kissed the wall she turned her attention to Sonata who was still cramming her binder into her book bag. She proceeded to ask her if the other two would like to join them at Sugarcube Corner. Sonata came back up wiping the sweat off her forehead trying to get everything to fit into her book bag.

"That be awesome I’m sure they would like to come Shimmie." Sonata said with a squee.

"Haha OK Sonata I’ll be at Sugarcube corner waiting for you." Sunset replied back putting on her book bag and walking off.

Sonata told her by before putting on her huge pink army size back pack on. As she was beginning to walk she felt like she was being pulled back by some strange force of nature. She then flailed her arms trying to grab some imaginary thing to prevent her from falling. But it was to late as the weight of the book bag forced her to fall backwards. She then cursed the laws of gravity as she tried to get back up but no use.

Sonata tried to get back up but was helpless like a turtle. She asked for help but everyone around her walked by or just snickered. Suddenly she was lifted up with the help of Big Mac and Bulk Biceps. She told them thank you as they gave her a eyep and YEAH respectfully. Sonata then redid her book bag before going off to the bus ramp.

"Gah here is she?" Aria said waiting for Sonata and their bus to arrive. "She is sooo slow. It’s like waiting for Snails to come up with an answer."

"Calm down Aria. Do you have a hot date with Shining Armor?" Adagio smirked.

Aria glared at Adagio with her arms crossed. Before she could say a word Sonata popped out of nowhere. Sonata then asked if they would come with her to Sugarcube Corner with the rest of her friends. To which Aria flat out said no and that was a lame idea just like her. Sonata then shook her head and told Aria that she is lame and that her idea was fun. The two girls started to argue about the other being lame until Adagio rolled her eyes and demanded they shut up. As the two quiet down Adagio stated that they could go if it was ok with Ms. Harshwinny. Sonata squeed as Aria mumbled something under her breathe. Adagio took out a cell phone from her pocket and dialed the number. About five second someone picked up. Adagio then asked if they could go to Sugarcube Corner to which the person on the other end said yes. As she hung up the phone Sonata and Aria were staring at her.

"Hey how come you got a phone and we didn’t?" Sonata whined.

"Yeah. I mean it’s obvious why Sonata didn’t get one but why not me to?" Aria added.

"Because to put it simple you two are idiots. Sonata would loose it like she lost my favorite hat. And you would ring up the phone bill with calling who know who." Adagio replied to both girls.

Sonata pouted while Aria snorted at the fact they didn’t get a emergency phone from Ms. Harshwinny. Adagio then told Sonata to lead the way to Sugarcube Corner to which Sonata brightened back up. As they were walking toward Sugarcube Sonata started yammering on about how great her day was with her and the others. Adagio and Aria painfully listened to every word coming out of her mouth. Aria pulled out her mp3 player only to see the battery had died. She let out an annoyed moan as she forgot to charge the phone back up.

"Tell me why in the world are we going with her?" Aria asked Adagio. "We don’t even like her friends."

"Because we having nothing better to do. And besides I don’t want to go back home and listen to Twist trail on about her stupid stamp collection." Adagio replied. " Sonata is at least not as annoying as that ginger kid."

The three sirens had finally gotten to Sugarcube Corner. Pinkie Pie jumped out of her seat waving at Sonata to come sit with them. Sonata smiled and waved back as she made her way to the table. She sat between Sunset and Pinkie her two best friends. Even though she considers all of them best friends to be fair. But she enjoys Sunset and Pinkie’s company the most. Pinkie Pie gave Sonata a huge chocolate chip cookie to which was her favorite sweet. As she thanked her hyper friend who was eating a rainbow cupcake she nibbled at the cookie enjoying every bit. However as they where eating they notice that the other two sirens where sitting by themselves at the other end.

"Darling how come they are sitting all the way over there?" Rarity asked eating the frosting off her cupcake with a spoon.

"Oh well they still don’t like you guys because you defeated us back in battle of the bands." Sonata said talking with her mouth full.

" But they look so lonely by themselves." Fluttershy said eating her oatmeal cookie.

"Well..I think I should talk to them. I mean maybe I can offer them friendship?" Sunset said as she put down her jelly doughnut. " I was hoping that they would be our friends anyway. That is why I wanted them to come."

"Oh that sounds like a great idea Sunset" Fluttershy commented sheepishly as she wiped cookie crumbs off her face. "I hope you can get them to be our friend."

"Oh I know how about I throw a Let’s be friends party?" Pinkie said with a mouthful of rainbow colored icing. "A party can fix anything!"

"Oh that be a great idea. I’ll make my world famous Sonata Tacos" Sonata said smiling at pinkie’s idea.

"Pinkie a party can’t fix everything ya know that right?" Applejack said as she bit her apple fritter. "Also Sonata.. Pinkie isn’t a good influence on you."

Sunset smiled at Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie as she turned and made her way toward Adagio and Aria table. As she approached, she couldn’t help but stare at Aria who was really enjoying her cream longhorn. Sunset soon broke out of her trance as Adagio asked what did she want. Sunset then looked at her once former enemy and couldn’t help but sweat a little. She was extremely nervous and for good reason. Unlike Princess Twilight, she was new to friendship. And was only able to be friends with the others simply because Twilight asked them to. Granted she became friends with Sonata over this week. But to be fair for her Sonata was a nice girl. Granted she wanted to take over the world but still she was nice. Sunset knew these two where complete and total opposites of Sonata’s bubbly sweet personality.

"Umm..would you care to join us?" Sunset asked with a nervous smile. "We are planning to go to the movies together."

"Sure why not." Adagio replied putting down her book. "Then later lets braid each others hair huh?"

Sunset was hurt by Adagio’s sarcastic remark. Sunset didn’t know what to say to Adagio after that so she just went back to her seat feeling a bit defeated. As she sat back down her friends tried to cheer her up a bit.

"I’m sorry maybe I shouldn’t have rooted for you to go. It’s my fault your heart got broken." Fluttershy said with a frown on her face.

"No it’s not your fault Fluttershy. Maybe I just thought I could befriend them." Sunset said comforting Fluttershy. "After I learned so much about friendship with you guys and even befriending Sonata. I thought that I had what it took to spread friendship like Princess Twilight.

"Yeah It’s not your fault that they said no to you when all you wanted to do was be their friend. Then you gave up easily because Adagio was a meanie mean head." Sonata said trying to comfort Sunset.

Applejack and Rarity gave her the stink eye. Sonata looked at them and shrugged saying that she was only following Applejack’s advice on being honest. Rainbow Dash face palmed as Applejack mention that there are times to tell white lies. Mean while Sunset sat there thinking what Sonata had just said. She did give up pretty easily after one failed try. Twilight wouldn’t give up that easily to make a friend so why should she.

"Your right Sonata. I did give up too easily." Sunset said with a stern look in her eyes. "I’m going to go over there and try again."

"Wait I was?!!" Sonata asked with a blank expression on her face.

"Yes, I gave up way too easily. I’m not going to force it on them. But they need to know that friendship is important. Also I know it’s important to you Sonata."

Sonata smiled as she thanked Sunset. Pinkie gave her a hug and congratulated her on giving Sunset inspiration. Her friends wished her luck as she smiled back at them and turn around to face the two girls again. She walked up to their table and looked at Adagio reading her book ignoring her presents. Aria was finishing her pastry as she looked at Sunset and ask what she wanted. Sunset took a deep breath and asked them why they didn’t accept her offer of friendship. That it was important to not only herself but Sonata too.

"What are we, Smurfs? Jeez your worst then Sonata." Aria remarked cleaning the cream off her face.

"No but regardless if you believe in it or not friendship is very important." Sunset said firmly.

Adagio looked up from her book and glared into Sunset’s eyes. Sunset could feel her hair on the back of her neck stand up straight. The siren leader then exhaled as she closed her eyes. She had been holding this in ever sense that day. The day she and the other sirens lost their power, the day they where no longer powerful sirens but instead pathetic human trash. She nor the other two could sing their songs. Not just to control others but also because they loved to sing. She remembered the days of old when they first found each other. Adagio and the other two had followed her for as long as she could remember. They enjoyed singing together and would sing for hours on end.  They hadn't gotten banished until they learned they could manipulate others with their lovely songs. At first they did it as a joke but she soon became hungry. That was the time Adagio’s innocence was lost forever. She wanted the power, she wanted the feeling of being in control. She got the other two to follow her in her plans. However it all changed when they met that stupid bearded unicorn. He wasn’t a match for their power so he copped out and banished them into another world. This world, a place of no magic. A place where they hardly could get strong. Adagio opened her eyes and look at Sunset. Adagio wanted to tell her but the once has-been unicorn of Equestria couldn’t possibly comprehend her woes.

"Listen has-been. You wouldn’t understand what we had or what we use to have. You could never hope to understand us." Adagio said in a deathly serious tone.

"...Listen I might not know your story. But I do know this. No matter what world you come from. You don’t have to be alone not when you can have friends who will stand by your side. " Sunset said as she smiled at Adagio and turned back to go sit back down.

Adagio sat their letting what she said sink in. This in turn made her mad but at the same time she couldn’t help but feel something. It was a strange feeling in her heart. She didn’t know what to make of it. She hasn’t felt this feeling since that time. That time she thought she had long forgotten. But was this that feeling? Adagio thought it through in her head for a moment. She then looked at Aria who had her head down on the table.

"Aria lets go over there. Besides it’s either spend time with Sonata and her pathetic friends or go back home and spend time with Twist and her stupid collection of useless crap." Adagio ordered as she got out of the booth.

"What? Seriously you want to be friends with these lamers?" Aria remarked as she lifted her head off the table.

"No we are not their friend. Lets just hang out. Beside you can watch Rainbow Dash and learn how you could beat her." Adagio looked back with a grin.

Aria returned the grin then got up and followed her.

The girls where laughing as they where talking about which movie to see. As soon as they started talking about it Adagio and Aria showed up. Sunset looked up at the two and couldn’t help but smile a bit. She was about to say thank you, until Adagio made it clear if she said anything mushy she was going to leave. They all made room for the two sirens. Sonata couldn’t help but squeal in delight but didn’t say anything. Fluttershy softly told them that they where trying to find a movie to watch tonight.

"I wanna check out Daring Do’s Tomb Raider. A.K Yearling is the greatest actress ever!" Rainbow Dash said trying not to squeal at the fact that her idols movie was in theatres.

"Pffft. Sorry Skittles but A.K Yearling isn’t that good an actor, plus she adopts anything with a heartbeat." Aria remarked as she rolled her eyes at Rainbow.

"Oh yeah, reject?!" Rainbow Dash barked.

"Dash she is just trying to get your goat." Sunset said to Rainbow Dash.

"But Rainbow Dash doesn’t have a goat Shimmie?" Sonata said looking at Sunset  thoroughly confused.

"Yeah Sunset. Unless Fluttershy let her borrow Iron Will’s pet goat Billy?" Pinkie Pie added.

"It’s a metaphor you two." Rainbow Dash said, face palming.

"Well I for one would love to see The Secrets of the YAYA Sisterhood. It’s starring Sapphire Shores the queen of pop." Rarity said with her eyes beaming.

Sunset stated that she to wanted to go see the movie as well. Not because of who stared in it but because she liked chick flicks. This in turn made Adagio smile a bit because she too liked chick flicks. She never really had anyone to watch them with due to Sonata and Aria thought they where boring. It made Adagio happy to see some common ground with them. But she didn’t say anything because she still didn’t want to be a part of their group..

"Well I like to see Tomb Raider too. But all in fairness ain’t it Fluttershy’s turn to pick the movie?" Applejack said.

Rarity soon pulled out her schedule pad that she kept to keep track of multiple things. She then confirmed that it was indeed Fluttershy’s turn.

"Oh um.. Well.. Uh.. I’ll give my turn to Sonata since she is new and um.. It’s to much pressure to decide." Fluttershy said sheepishly.

Both Adagio and Aria face palmed for they knew what was about to come next.

"*Squeal!* Realzies? Thanks Fluttershy.. Well I really really would like to see My Magical Ponies." Sonata said with glee.

"OH MY GOSH ME TOO! We are like sisters or something." Pinkie Pie said with much enthusiasm.

"Well I guess it’s settled then if Fluttershy doesn’t mind giving up her turn to give to Sonata. Then I guess that’s that." Sunset added with a smile on her face.

Both Adagio and Aria rolled their eyes in disgust. They hated that show because of how sweet the show was. They couldn’t stand how happy and joyful the ponies all where. Plus it annoyed them that Sonata was obsessed with the show. She even went to every convention. Fluttershy smiled at the idea because she loved the show very much. She enjoyed the little ponies and the messages it gave to kids and even adults could learn from it. Rarity and Applejack both approved of her choice due to how positive the show was for children. That and they both bonded over it when they where kids and watched the first generation together. However Rainbow Dash was less enthused by the idea. She secretly liked the show but didn’t want anyone to know about it due to it would destroy her bad girl reputation. Pinkie and Sonata both where hyped by her choice and together sang the theme song. Which in turn made Adagio and Aria cover their eyes. Not because Sonata sounded like a peacock getting punched in the throat, but the theme song was the most annoying thing in the world.

As the girls agreed on the movie to watch they left Sugarcube Corner and walked to the bus stop. After about fifteen minutes the bus finally came. They all got on and sat in the back.

"So when is curfew for you guys?" Sunset asked Adagio who was sitting next to her."

"Ten." Adagio replied.

Sunset wanted to start a conversation with her but didn’t know anything about Adagio beside she can be a real jerk. Nothing else. She didn’t want to bring up singing because that would most likely make her mad. Sunset then looked at Sonata who was talking to Pinkie Pie about the movie and their "theories" about what was in the box. She couldn’t help but grin at them.

"Tell me has-been. Why do we have to watch the same movie together?" Adagio asked looking right at Sunset. "I mean couldn’t we just watch what ever without being in a silly group?"

"Well.. You see it’s not so much about the movie. It’s about spending time with friends that counts." Sunset replied. "Like Fluttershy hates horror movies. But when it was Rainbow’s turn to pick movie, she didn’t protest or even pay much attention to the movie because we where hanging out as friends. Well at least until the woman’s skin was ripped off by the monster with a pyramid head. Then we had to pry her from under the seat.

Adagio sighed and rolled her eyes as she turned back to the window. Even though deep down she couldn’t help but think Sunset had a point.

Mean while Aria was sitting by her window still pretty ticked about her mp3 dying. Listening to Screamo, playing video games, and other things where the only thing that kept her mind off of the fact she couldn’t sing anymore. The only thing that made life in this world worth loving in. She hated everything in this world. Heck even in the other world she hated everything. She didn’t use to be like this though. No she remembered back then, the time of their innocence. 

How ever just like this world she simply wished to burn it away. Why was she following Adagio and Sonata around for anyway? They weren’t related nor have any use for being around each other. So what was stopping her from up and leaving them behind. She thought about packing and going but every time she thought that or wanted to leave them, something deep inside the empty pit known as her heart would stop her from leaving. She knew she cared for both of them. But why did she care for them? What was even the point in caring anymore, she thought.

"Hey you like Metallica?" Asked Rainbow Dash as she sat next to Aria.

" No. They are old school not that pansy crap they pretend to be now. Why? Also why are you sitting by me? Aren’t we enemies?" Aria asked breaking out of her trance.

"No, we are rivals. Besides even enemies can become best of friends." Rainbow added.

Aria looked at Rainbow for second and fought the urge to tell her she sucks. But something stopped her. She didn’t see nor want Rainbow or anyone to be her friend. But she did like the term rival. She cracked a smile as Rainbow return one back to her. They then listened to Master of Puppets together on her MP3 player.

"I think in the box there is going to be the rainbow of light." Pinkie Pie said.

"Oh my gosh for Realzies? I was thinking that too! But Princess Midnight needs her key. I think maybe Mayhem will betray the ponies and toward the end he relearns the power of magic." Sonata replied.

Pinkie gasped at Sonata’s theory and agreed with her. As they continued their conversation she gasped again. This time was because she just remembered it was pudding snack time. A very important time of the day. Even though she made this time up just now for the sake of eating her snack pack. Pinkie reached into her book bag as she pulled out random things such as a harmonica, a board game, a chicken, a remote, a monkey wrench, Trixie’s hat, and finally two snack packs. Sonata was amazed at how much random stuff was in her book bag. 

The only strange thing in her own book bag was a fish bowl. But that was in case of fish bowl emergencies. Pinkie shared the other snack pack with her. Sonata thanked her and tore open the wrapper only to grab the plastic spoon then begin eating. As she was shoveling it into her mouth she started to drift off in her own little world. She loved remembering things from her past such as the greatest day in her life. The day she met Adagio and Aria. They where so happy back then and so innocent. The something happened. She didn’t know or understood what. All she knew was Adagio changed.

They soon began doing bad things. Even though she thought nobody was getting hurt she still felt bad for them. She missed her old life as a siren but this new life isn’t so bad since she had friends that care for her. She started to get sad because of all the evil she had done so she thought about the second greatest moment in her life. The day she found Taco Bell.

They soon got off the bus. The girls stood in line to pay for their tickets. As each one bought Adagio was just about to pay for hers until she realized she was short on cash. The tickets were seven dollars and sadly she only had four. She didn’t know what to do until she saw Rarity come in front of her and paid the man her fee. Adagio was shocked by this form of generosity.

"Why.. Did you do that?" Adagio asked confuse.

"Because darling. You needed money to get in so I helped. No biggie." Rarity said with a smile.

"But you just wasted money on me though? Don’t you need that money for yourself?" Adagio added.

"Darling my dad is a coach for the Miami Seasponies. And my mother makes wigs for people with cancer. I make money from the clothes I sell" Rarity replied. "Plus money doesn’t mean a thing if there are no friends to share the wealth with."

Adagio was kinda touched by this from her. Sadly it was cut short due to Pinkie and Sonata jumping and telling them to hurry or they will miss the movie. As they sat and watch the movie Adagio was sitting next to Sunset and Rarity. Adagio closed her and then turn to Rarity and thanked her for helping her out back there. Rarity smiled and said she was welcome and that is what friends are for.

Mean while the movie played and Sonata and Pinkie where so hyped up. Mostly because they where drinking Monster and eating pixie sticks. They started to sing along with to the theme song as it played. They where starting to annoy some people around them. Suddenly a movie security guard shined a light on Pinkie and Sonata.

"I’m going to have to ask you two to please keep it down." Shining Armor said.

"Oops Sorry Mr. Shining Armor Security guard sir." Pinkie replied.

Shining Armor then left as the girls looked at Pinkie Pie.  Then Applejack asked how did she know his name.

"Oh I didn’t. It was only convenient to the plot." Pinkie squealed excitedly. "We will never see him again nor his sister who goes to our school and yet we haven’t met yet. Which for some reason she doesn’t know anything about the events of Sunset or the Dazzlings!"

"Oh my gosh Pinkie you're so smart." Sonata remarked.

The rest of the girls were just as confused as always when it came to Pinkie’s random thoughts. So like always they did not dare to question it. As they then continued to watch the movie, Aria fell asleep while Adagio was starting to drift off but managed to stay awake through the whole movie. Rarity and Applejack sat there eating their popcorn.

"Join my side Mayhem. And together this world shall bow before us." Beholder asked.

Both pinkie Pie and Sonata gasped and spelled their Coke as they knew what was about to happen. They continued drinking their soda while enjoying the movie.

"I.. I can’t believe this.. *sniff* I thought our friendship meant something to you? You swore you change *sobs*. Why.. Why did you betray us?" Gentleshine asked.

"Fwahaha because the Beholder can offer me sooo much more then pathetic friendship ever could. Absolute power FWAHAHA." Mayhem replied, trapping her and her friends in the pit of despair.

Fluttershy started to cry at the betrayal of Mayhem. Gentleshine was so sweet and believe in him even though her friends didn’t. Rarity gave her a tissue to use. At this point Adagio was starting to really enjoy the movie. Sunset wiped a tear from her eyes as she sniffed.

"Give up Princess Midnight. Your magic of the light is no match of the magic of the darkness." Beholder said standing above Midnight.

"No..My friends.. They need me. As long as there is a shimmer of light no hope will be lost." Princess Midnight replied trying to stand back up.

The girls where in awe as they watch the epic battle between good and evil. Even Aria woke up for this part really liking the epic animation. Both Midnight and Beholder were at a stand still until Beholder used a cheap trick. He forced Midnight to choose between her magic of light or her friends who would be eaten by the darkness. The girls gasped as the princess made her choice. She gave Beholder her magic of light in exchange for her friends lives. How ever Beholder didn’t keep his end of the deal. But right before her friends where engulfed by the shadows. Mayhem used all his magic to save them. He then used the powers of destruction to expose Beholder’s weakness. Midnight used this opening to strike him down with her horn. As Beholder went down they turn their attention to Mayhem who was on the ground. He used up all his magic which equals as life force to magical beings.

"..Gen.. Gentleshine..I-I’m sorry for betraying you. I see know that it was..*coughs* It was wrong of me. Please forgive me. You..You were my only friend *Tears* and like a fool I wasted it on power." Mayhem said slowly fading

"*Sniff* Yes I forgive you Mayhem. You where tempted by Beholder. I don’t blame you"

"Thank you..Gentleshine" Mayhem said vanishing.

"He was our enemy. Then a friend. Then enemy again. Mayhem made a choice to be good or evil. But in the end he chosen to be good. We won’t forget his sacrifice." Princess Midnight said comforting Gentleshine.

"He went out like a hero. You should be proud Shine." Fire cracker said.

Rainbow Dash and Aria had tears in their eyes but not dared look at each other and just acted like they had something in their eye. Sunset looked over at them and couldn’t help but smile at the fact Rainbow and Aria have a soft spot. She then turn to Adagio who appeared to have a tear running down her face. Sunset thought not to say anything because she would most likely get mad.

"Well did you like it Adagio?" Sunset asked

"Huh?... It was ok still not my kind of movie but what ever." Adagio remarked.

The girls soon left and waited outside for the bus. Sonata and Pinkie where talking about the movie and how awesome it was, while Applejack pulled out her cell phone to make a call. It was about five minutes until the bus showed up. Aria got on first as Adagio and Sonata where about to step on. Sonata noticed that the others weren’t following.

"Hey are you coming Shimmie?" Sonata asked blocking Adagio.

"Oh no Sonata its fine, Applejack just called her brother Big Mac to pick us up. It’s ok." Sunset said.

"Oh ok well hope to see you tomorrow them bye.’ Sonata said waving at everyone.

"Bye Sonata. Bye Adagio." Sunset replied.

"..Yeah bye..Sunset" Adagio said.

It was Monday morning and the three Sirens, plus their ginger roommate Twist, were all getting ready for school. Sonata and Aria were finally able to use the bathroom after having to wait an hour for Adagio to fix the mountain she called hair. Adagio herself was sitting on her bed putting on her shoes. After she had tied them she then laid back onto her bed. She couldn’t help but think of last Friday. What Sunset said about them being friends. The word “friend” made her cringe. Adagio didn’t care about friendship, she thought it was for the weak . She didn’t even consider Sonata nor Aria as her friends. Or at least not after that day. The day her innocence was lost forever. Her train of thought was ruined by Sonata and Aria arguing in the bathroom.

“HOLY CRAP SONATA!!! SERIOUSLY?!!WHY DID YOU SPIT IN MY HAIR!?” Aria was yelling.

“Oh my gosh I’m so, so, sooo sorry Aria. I was rinsing my mouth with mouthwash and had my eyes closed enjoying the mintyness. I didn’t mean to spit in your hair.” Sonata said, nervously. “Look on the brights side. At least your hair is minty fresh?”

“Get out, get out, GET OUT!” Aria raged, shoving Sonata out of the bathroom, then slamming the door in her nose, hard.

“Ow.” Sonata said rubbing her newly red nose. She then started to bang on the door and pleaded to let her get her brush. Adagio then started to rub the bridge of her nose and let out a heavy sigh.

“ARIA! Give her, her brush so she can shut up. And don’t throw it at her this time!” Adagio called, annoyed.

The door open and Sonata put out her hand for Aria to place the brush in. Aria then smirked and slammed the brush into her hand. “OW!” Sonata yelp as she grabbed her brush and stuck out her tongue. Aria shook her head before closing the door. Adagio face palmed as Sonata went to the door mirror and brushed her hair out. Twist then jumped from the top bunk of her bed holding her book of stamps.

“Hey Adathio. Did I ever sthow you the sthamp of Moon Walk the king of pop?” Twist asked opening the book to where the stamp was.

“Where did I go wrong in my life?” Adagio muttered under her breath with her hand on her forehead.

Suddenly Ms. Harshwinny rang her bell for all the students to go to the bus ramp. Aria told Adagio to tell Ms. Harshwinny that she would be a minute. Adagio told her to hurry as the girls grabbed their book bag and went out to the ramp. The students where all in a single file line as Ms. Harshwinny came out with her clip board. She then cleared her throat and started the role call. After each student was called it was time for Aria Blaze. Ms. Harshwinny called her name again but no answer. She walked over to Adagio and Sonata with a raised eye brow and stern look on her face.

“Ms. Adagio Dazzle, Ms. Sonata Dusk, do you mind telling me where is your friend and roommate Ms. Aria Blaze?” Ms. Harshwinny asked looking at thetwo girls.

“Well you see Ms. HarshWhinny. Adagio was taking a really long time in the bathroom and when she finally got done me and Aria went in to get ready. We were brushing our teeth and I was done brushing so I was using mouthwash.  I always close my eyes to enjoy the minty freshness and-“ Sonata was cut off by Adagio covering her mouth.

“She will be along Ms. Harshwhinny.” Adagio said with a cheap smile on her face.

Ms. Harshwinny let out a sigh as she continued role call. The students then began to go onto the bus. After about five minutes Ms. Harshwinny sighed and told the bus driver to go. The bus driver then closed the door and was starting to leave.

“WAIT MS. HARSH WHINNY! STOP THE BUS!  ARIA IS COMING!” Sonata shrieked standing in her seat.

“Stop the bus Mr. Doodle. And Ms. Sonata Dusk your friend is taking a long time, thats why we started to go.” Ms. Harshwinny sighed.

The students all giggled to what she had just said as the bus stopped. Aria walked onto bus glaring at Sonata. She then took a seat behind her.

“I.. Hate.. You..” Aria said leaning toward Sonata.

The bus was finally at Canterlot High. Sonata jumped off the bus then made her way to the school doors. Aria and Adagio however where less enthused about being in school and were slowly walking behind her.

Sunset Shimmer was putting up her book bag as she took out her math book for first period. As she closed her locker she turned to see Sonata walking toward her. She smiled and greeted her siren friend as Sonata opened her locker. 

“Hi Shimmie did you finish your report on Chief Thunder Feet?” Sonata asked getting her math book out of er stuffed book bag.

“Yeah I did. I spent all weekend doing the research.” Sunset replied. “Did you finish your report on Little Strongheart and how she helped Marco polo?”

“Yes I did. I went to the library and did my report. It was fun!” Sonata said only to gasp as she realized she forgot it. “Oh my apple sauce! Shimmie I left it at home on my bed. Oh no nononononono I can’t fail. I worked really hard on it and everything.” She bit her lip as tears welled up in the corner of her eyes.

“Sonata... calm down it will be ok. Maybe we can ask Mr. Stone Age to let you turn it in tomorrow. You’re a good student and he knows you wouldn’t leave it on purpose.”  Sunset said, trying to comfort her.

“Maybe your right Shimmie. It’s just I put in a lot of effort into this.” Sonata said calming down.

Suddenly out of nowhere her report flashed in her face, dangling.

“You left this on your bed, ditz.” Aria said holding the two papers in front of Sonata’s face.

“*gasp* Oh my gosh thank you Aria you’re the best!” Sonata grinned as she grabbed the papers then hugged Aria tightly.

“Ok get off me now!” Aria commanded trying Sonata to let go.

“That was really sweet Aria.” Sunset said smiling at how happy Sonata was.

“Can it bacon head. I only grabbed the stupid papers because I didn’t want to hear her whining tonight.” Aria snapped back finally able to get loose of Sonata’s death hug.

Sunset was annoyed. She didn’t like being called bacon head and was getting rather tired of the name. She was about to tell her off but then looked at Sonata putting her report into her locker. She seen how happy Sonata was happy thanks to Aria. Two weeks ago she couldn’t understand why Sonata was with these two jerks but then remembered they were all she had. Also even though they act mean they did do nice things for her. 

Sonata was even willing to leave her new life to be with them even if it meant being homeless. Sunset had promised Sonata that she would try her best in getting the other two to be friends regardless of how hard it might be. She then looked at Adagio who was poofing her hair with her brush. 

“Um how are you today Adagio?” Sunset asked.

“Listen has-been I know you want us to be friends but it can’t work ok. So just stop. We aren’t even the same species.” Adagio said giving Sunset a dirty look.

“But wait aren’t we all human now? So yeah we are the same.” Sonata remarked.

“Sonata you are the worst.” Aria said putting her hand onto her forehead.

“No you are.” Sonata replied back sticking put her tongue.

“Thats not what I.. Never mind lets go Aria.” Adagio said getting annoyed.

Adagio walked off with Aria walking behind her. Sunset was about to ask her why couldn’t they be friends. But before the girl could utter a word the bell rang for students to get into class. Sonata grabbed Sunset’s arm and pulled them to the classroom, stating that it would be super bad if they were late.

First period math class was rather hard for Sonata. The teacher was talking about pi and she answered cherry or lemon. Sunset volunteered to help her out after having to make a promise to get Sonata a slice of apple pie after school. Second period was fun when the teacher got Sonata and Fluttershy to play Jingle bells with their instruments. It was going fine until Sonata started to sing, hurting Fluttershy’s ears. 

In third period the teacher got the students to draw what they thought the future was gonna be like. Pinkie Pie drew the partying zombie apocalypse. While Sonata drew a world where they would all live in vaults and never leave or else they would be attack by mutant mole rats. 

Lunch time had finally come and the girls where all sitting at their table. However Adagio and Aria where sitting at the end away from the rest of the group. Sunset and Sonata asked them to come sit with them only to be shot down by Adagio telling them no. As they where eating Sunset looked over to see Applejack looking rather upset about something.

“Hey Applejack. Is everything ok?” Sunset asked. “You look like your about to punch someone.”

“No. We got a history sub on account of Mr. Stone Age being sick.” Applejack said taking a sip of milk before putting it back down. “The new sub is meaner then a hornet inside a wool sweater.”

“Oh how so?” Sunset asked.

“Well fer starters, he acts like a jerk to all the students and if you don’t know an answer he will make you look stupid in front of the whole class.” Applejack replied gritting her teeth.

“Applejack is right. He even made Derpy cry just because she couldn’t look at him with both eyes.” Fluttershy said, far from her usual self and clenching her Mayhem plushie like she wanted to rip it apart, which was unusual..

“That is just terrible darling.” Rarity said, after taking a bite her sandwich.

“Rarity is right. Did you tell Principal Celestia?” Sunset asked.

“Sure did after class. She is talking to him as we speak.” Applejack replied.

“Thats good. He sounds like a meanie mean pants. Ooo maybe a cupcake would make him happy?”

“Pinkie a cupcake can’t fix everything.” Rainbow remarked.

“Ooo I know a taco. That always makes me feel better.” Sonata added.

“Tacos can’t fix everything either Sonata.” Rainbow said.

“A party?” Pinkie said

“No how about singing.” Sonata said.

“Wait no, a joke maybe?” Pinkie replied as her face lit up.

“No wait parade!” Sonata squealed with delight.

“Ooo I know a partying, cake juggling, singing jokes to the crowd, and a clown riding a T-Rex!” Both Pinkie and Sonata pretty much yelled at the same time.

“GAAH NO!!! Those won’t work at all!” Rainbow Dash said feeling annoyed and scared by how much alike Pinkie and Sonata were as well as hiding from the annoyed glares being sent their way.

“Darling I think what Rainbow is trying to say is it takes more then cakes and tacos to make them happy.” Rarity said.

“Ooh why didn’t you say so Dashie?” Pinkie asked.

“Yeah Rainbow Dash thats all you had to say.” Sonata added.

Rainbow Dash let out a sigh as she placed her hand on her head. The rest of the girls continued to eat and everyone shrugged and looked away from the ten girls.

Soon it was time for science class. Sonata and Rarity were partners and mixing chemicals together. Sonata accidently added too much and the mixture exploded. It wasn’t lethal but it did turn Rarity’s hair Swamp Thing armpit green. Once she saw her hair she then fainted and was sent to the school nurse.

Fifth period came and Sonata was teamed up with Applejack, Sunset and Bulk Biceps. The teacher gave them the assignment of making a story. So Sonata and her group all came up with a story about an evil factory where kids go and are crushed and turned into rainbows. The students were all freaked out after they got done reading it to the class.

It was finally six period. The period that Sonata, Sunset, and Rainbow dreaded. As the girls sat down they waited for the teacher to come in. After about five minutes a man came in wearing white shoes with dark black suit. He had on a grey button shirt and silver tie. His skin was pale red like Big Macs’. He had a nose ring and white mohawk and beard. The man went to the board and grabbed a red marker.

“Good afternoon class. My name is Mr. Tirek. I am your sub for today and tomorrow.” Mr. Tirek said writing his name on the board.

“Pffftt hahaha he looks like a freak haha” Rainbow Dash said whispering to Sunset.

“Is something funny girls?” Tirek demanded, his odd demonic yellow eyes boring into Rainbow and Sunset.

“Umm... no sorry.” Rainbow said.

“Good. Then you wouldn’t mind me starting class then.” Tirek said walking to his desk looking at the day’s schedule. “Hmm it seems this class has reports due today. Well then. Who would like to go first?”

Sonata and Sunset both raised their hand hoping to be called on. Tirek looked around and only saw their hands up. He then pointed at Sunset to come up. Sunset went up to the front of the classroom and began to read her report. After five pages worth she was finally done. Sonata and Rainbow along with a few other students clapped for her. Tirek then slammed his hand on the desk demanding silence. The students did just that sitting in their seats.

“Very good bacon head. And by that I mean not bad for being wrote by a girl.” Tirek said with a smirk on his face.

“Um..” She was struck speechless at this guy’s sexism words. "My name is Sunset sir. And what does me being a girl have to do with anything?” Sunset asked.

“Well it’s just evolution made sure that girls were not only the weaker sex but also the stupider one too.” Tirek said, snorting with laughter at her. “You get a D because I refuse to have a girl pass.”

“Hey thats not nice Mr. T-Rex. Shimmie did her best an-“ Sonata was saying before she was interrupted.

“SIT DOWN!!! AND DO NOT SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT AGAIN OR I WILL BREAK EVERY BONE IN YOUR PATHETIC BODY!?” Tirek yelled slamming his hand into his desk again.

Sunset glared at the man. “Are you really that-"

His voice was nothing more then a low growl. “Sit. Down. NOW."

Sonata sat back down as Sunset came back to her own seat. Sonata placed her hand on Sunset’s shoulder and told her she like it and she gets an A in her heart. Sunset smiled and thanked her friend. Tirek then asked who would like to go next. But this time nobody raised their hand. This annoyed Tirek and so he got up and picked up the name schedule. He then called Snips to come up. The boy asked if he could go last. Tirek gritted his teeth and demanded he get up in front of the class and read his report or get thrown out the window. Snips began to shake as he gulped and grabbed his report. He made his way to the front of the class and started to tremble. Tirek demanded that he stop stalling and read his report. Snips then started to read his report while his legs started to shake. After Snips was done with his report Tirek clapped his hands slowly.

“Good job tubby. Tell me what grade do you think I should give you for a single paragraph?” Tirek asked.

“M-m-maybe a B-b-b-b B?” Snips asked nervously?

“A B huh? You want a B for a single STUPID PARAGRAPH THAT WAS NOT ONY A WASTE OF MY TIME BUT A WASTE OF PAPER!!” Tirek said getting up and glaring down at the boy. “YOU GET AN F FOR FAILURE!!”

Snips peed in his pants as he apologized. Tirek told him to go sit back down regardless of the fact he wet his pants. Tirek then looked at the names and called Rainbow Dash. Rainbow grabbed her report and went up to the front of the classroom. She then read her one page report to the class. The report was good but not great.

“Well les-bo that was a rather weak paper.” Tirek said.

“Wait Lesbo? What is that suppose to mean? Also I did great on my paper thank you.” Rainbow Dash remarked.

“Oh sorry your hair is that of the rainbow. Also known as the homos colors haha. Also your report like everyone else is pathetic.” Tirek said.

“My report was fantas-“ Rainbow was soon cut off by Sunset who shook her head.

“Thats right little girl go sit back down.” Tirek said laughing.

Rainbow Dash gritted her teeth and was steaming with fury. She wanted to so badly punch him in the groin but instead bit her tongue and sat back down. Sunset couldn’t help but wonder why Principal Celestia didn’t fire him yet. What reason did she possibly have for not firing this jerk. Tirek then called another student up only to suffer the same fate as the others. Sunset was getting mad as she saw Tirek belittle every single student. She wanted to do something but she had no power nor say in this. She was just a student and nothing more. She couldn’t blast him with friendship nor beat the crap out of him. Sunset soon heard Tirek call upon Sonata to come up. Sunset’s heart sank as he called on her. She looked over to see Sonata with a sad expression on her face. Sunset noticed she had been quiet ever since Tirek yelled at her and threatened her. She notice her eyes were watery and saw a tear fall onto her desk. Sunset’s heart ached even more as she witnessed this. Tirek demanded she get up and read her report. Sonata then closed her eyes as she got up and took her paper up to the front of the classroom. She started speak stuttering some words. Her hands were trembling as she kept reading. She was finally done and wiped a tear away from her eye.

“Well Sonata Dusk. That was a pretty good report. But one problem. Little Strongheart was 23 not 22. You get a F.” Tirek said.

“W-what no. Pleease no. I worked reeeally reeally hard on this paper.” Sonata pleaded with tears in her eyes.

“To bad. Maybe if you weren’t STUPID you could get an A, idiot.” Tirek said.

Sonata stood there with her hear crushed. Never in her life has anyone ever called her stupid. Not even Aria said she was stupid. Or an idiot. Tears ran down the siren’s face as she started crying hard. She dropped her papers on the floor and ran out the door. Sunset’s blood started to boil as she gritted her teeth and clenched her fist tightly. The vein in her head pumped as she wanted to chew him out.

“OK THAT IT YOU RED BABOON FREAK!!” Rainbow Dash yelled as she stormed right to his desk. 

Snips and Snails grabbed her arms to hold her back. Hoops and Score held her legs down.

“Come on Rainbow he isn’t worth it.” Hoops said trying his best to hold her leg down.

“Y-yeah Rainbow he ain’t worth it eh.” Snails said.

“Their right Rainbow lets go help Sonata ok.” Sunset said placing her hand on her shoulder.

Rainbow started to calm down a bit but still glaring at Tirek wanting his blood. Tirek got up chuckling as he approached her.

“Whats the matter reading rainbow? Thought you wanted to hit me hmm. Just for threatening a teacher you get detention today.” Tirek said with a devious smile.

As Rainbow was finally calmed down the four boys let go of her. Rainbow and Sunset then walked out the door. Having nothing to say to the tyrant. 

They walked down the halls until they heard crying coming from the girls bathroom. Both girls then went in to see Sonata crying in the corner. They walked over to her and placed their hand on her shoulder.

“It’s ok Sonata. We’re here ok.” Sunset said

“Yeah don’t listen to that prick. You arent stupid at all.” Rainbow said.

“*sniff* T-t-thinks girls. But n-nobody has ever called me stupid before. He is so mean.” Sonata said with red eyes.

“We know. Lets go talk to Principal Celestia and see whats going on. Ok?” Sunset said helping her up.

Sonata agreed to go with them to the principal’s office. As they where walking down the hall the bell rang for students to go home. Sonata kept her head down hiding her face. The three girls soon made it to the principal’s office. As the girls entered the office Celestia was eating a slice of cake.

“Oh my girls. What is wrong with Sonata?” Celestia asked putting the cake away immediately upon seeing their faces.

“No disrespect ma’am but it’s that baboon freak of a sub.” Rainbow replied.

“Mr. Tirek is out of control. Not only did he call Sonata stupid but has belittle every other student in the class.” Sunset said handing Sonata a tissue. “ Ma’am, how come you didn’t fire him yet?

“I’m very sorry to hear that girls. But I did talk to him today. However I can’t fire him due to the School Board demands evidence. It’s a new policy that they have. It is to make sure students aren’t just complaining about teachers for the sake of getting them fired.” Celestia said.

“But that isn’t fair. He needs to be fired.” Rainbow added. 

“Yeah *sniff* he is so mean.” Sonata said wiping tears away.

“Sorry girls. I need evidence.” Celestia said.

“Ok Ms. Celestia we understand. Let’s go girls. We have detention.” Sunset said winking at Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash didn’t understand what was going on but she did know that Sunset had a plan. As soon as they left Celestia’s office Rainbow asked what was Sunset planning. Sunset cracked a smile and told both Sonata and Rainbow Dash what she had in mind to get evidence. Sonata then started to brighten up a bit more. 

“You mean we are going to get that meanie fired Shimmie?” Sonata asked with a smile.

“Yes Sonata, but you have to keep it a secret though. If Tirek finds out what we are doing we will get into more trouble.” Sunset said smiling back happy to see Sonata smiling again.

“I still like my idea of high fiving him with a metal chair across his face.” Rainbow remarked.

Sonata just giggled as Sunset told Rainbow Dash to go get the items needed. As Rainbow left to et them, Sunset and Sonata went into detention. Once they entered they where shocked to see how full it was. There where students from every period in the classroom in some kind of trouble that they weren’t responsible for. Sonata and Sunset took their seats as Tirek did role call. 

“Where is Adagio Dazzle and Aria Blaze at!?” Tirek demanded as he looked to see they weren’t in the classroom.

“Oh Adagio and Aria don’t take orders from human waste such as yourself.” Sonata said with glee, knowing that he would get angry. She didnt care. She was angry now, not deflated like earlier. The others stared at her with admiration.

“Excuse you little twit?” Tirek said walking to her desk.

“Come on Tirek don’t you have work for us to do?” Sunset said with a smirk.

“Grrr the only reason why I haven’t knocked you out girl is because it’s a crime to punch children.” Tirek said turning to look at her.

Tirek then called the remaining students. As soon as he got to Rainbow Dash’s name she burst into the room. Tirek glared at her as she walked to a seat in the back.

“Mind telling me why you are late!?” Tirek asked her.

“Sorry red traffic was murder.” Rainbow said sitting back in the chair relaxed, and put her feet up onto the chair in front of her, leaning back..

Tirek then gritted his teeth as he finished role call. He then walked up to his desk and slammed the clip board down. 

“Ok listen up you little snots. You will NOT just sit in here. You WILL write “I am sorry for being a stupid useless waste of time and space.” five hundred times before you leve. Or you will have detention tomorrow and write even more. Got that!?” Tirek said walking to the board and writing out what the class was suppose to write.

The students all answered him as they got out their pencil and paper. Tirek then sat at his desk and opened the drawer. 

“Crap I left my book in the car. I’ll be right back. You snot stains better be writing when I get back.” Tirek said as he got up to leave.

As soon as Tirek left Sunset looked over to Rainbow Dash singling her to come over. Rainbow Dash got up with her book bag and walked over to Sunset. Rainbow pulled out a video camera from her book bag. It was the same camera Sunset had used when spying on Twilight when she came to the human world. 

“Ok so where are we going to place this?” Rainbow Dash asked handing her the camera.

“Simple I am going to hide it in my book bag and have it aimed at the front of the room.” Sunset replied back.

“Oooo oo or you could hide it in my hair. There is tons or room in it.” Pinkie Pie said popping out of nowhere.

“Pinkie? What are you doing here?” Sunset asked.

“How did you get in trouble with that mean-o?” Sonata asked.

“Simple it was history class and that meanie mean pants told Maud she was wrong. I then stood up and told her that she was right. Tirek then got mad and gave us both detention.” Pinkie said with an angry expression on her face.

“Wrong about what?” Rainbow asked confused.

“I said Mount Rushmore was made of outcroppings of fine-grained granite and some mica schist. He said I was wrong and stupid. So I said no I was right and he should read a book about Mount Rushmore.” Maud Pie said who was sitting behind Rainbow Dash.

“That wasn’t very nice of him. Also I always thought Mouth Rushmore was made of mountain rock.” Sonata said with a blank expression on her face.

“Ok enough. Tirek will come back soon. Pinkie but this in your hair.” Sunset said giving Pinkie Pie the camera. “One thing I don’t understand is why is he even a teacher?”

“Oh thats easy. He isn’t a real teacher. He just started being a sub. He actually was a warden from a very mean nasty and scary prison. He was charged with training three pit bulls to attack the prisoners for fun. He was later let out for good behavior.” Pinkie said placing the camera in her hair.

“Um Pinkie how do you know that?” Rainbow asked.

“Easy during lunch when Applejack was talking about a new sub I was excited because it meant a new teacher to meet. So I went onto rateyourteacher.com and tried looking him up but found nothing on him. Which wasn’t right because he is a teacher so why isn’t he on rateyouteacher.com huh? So I looked him up on google to see if I couldn’t find him and bam there he was under facebook.com.” Pinkie Pie was rambling on.

Sunset and Rainbow Dash had blank expressions on their faces. Sonata was the only one understanding all the rambling of Pinkie’s. How ever there was a loud noise outside the classroom. Sunset covered Pinkie’s mouth as she tried to listen. It sounded like Tirek and he sounded very mad about something. 

“YOU JUST SPILLED MILK ON MY SUIT!” Tirek yelled at the top of his lungs. 

“I-I-I-I’m S-sorry. It was an accident.” I didn’t mean to.” Fluttershy said in a meek voice.

“I’m sorry WHAT!? I can’t hear you. You little yellow snot.” Tirek yelled.

“Hey thats enough Tirek, she’s an innocent.” Sunset said as she and the other girls walked out the classroom to see what was happening.

“Yeah why don’t you pick on someone your own size baboon face?” Rainbow said placing herself in front of Fluttershy.”Big bully!"

“Yeah big meanie stop being mean." Sonata said standing beside Fluttershy.

“Yeah exactly your not very nice mister. And you don’t even deserve a cupcake party.” Pinkie Pie said standing on the other side of Fluttershy.

“You know what. I have HAD IT TO HERE WITH YOU SNOTS!! I am going to beat the ever loving snot out of you and just tell Celestia that you all tried to attack me.” Tirek said cracking his knuckles.

“The Principal wouldn’t believe you any how.” Sunset said back.

“Oh really. I think I can make it all look like an accident, girls.” Tirek chuckled darkly.

Tirek then grabbed Sunset by the throat. As soon as Rainbow was about to make her move somebody grabbed Tirek’s hand. The girls gasped to see just who it was as Tirek turned to look.

“When somebody hurts a friend of Fluttershy’s. They better get ready to DIE!” Iron Will said Twisting Tirek’s arm against his back.

“Let go of me NOW!” Tirek demand as he let go of Sunset. “What do you think your doing?”

Iron Will raised an eyes as he lifted Tirek up and slammed him on the floor. 

“Iron Will is gonna rain down the four horsemen of ass whooping on you.” Iron Will said bending Tirek’s legs. “Iron Will is gonna make you taste the 51 flavors of pain!”

“Ooo is one flavor chocolate?” Sonata squeed as she seen Iron Will pile drive Tirek.

“Or or chocolate mint ice cream.” Pinkie Pie added watching Iron Will do a back breaker on Tirek.

“Iron Will doesn’t have those flavor. But Iron Will does have two scoops of hurt!” Iron Will replied punching Tirek in the face with both hands.

“Where did he learn all these awesome moves?” Rainbow asked seeing Iron Will block a punch from Tirek then countered it by slamming his face in the lockers.

“Oh before Mr. Iron Will became a gym teacher he was in the WWE. He was trained by Hulk Hogan.” Fluttershy said covering her eyes as Iron will choke slammed Tirek to the ground.

“How do you know that Fluttershy?” Sunset asked watching Tirek soon begging for mercy.

“Oh he told me about it when I was helping him with his pet goat Grogar’s pregnancy last month.” Fluttershy said.

Iron Will then asked one of the girls to get the principal. Sunset went as Iron Will had Tirek pinned down on the ground. After about ten minutes Sunset came with Celestia. Celestia asked Iron Will what was going on. Iron Will began to explain to Celestia what had happen until Pinkie pie jumped in and pulled the camera out of her hair. She played the video to Celestia showing her all Tirek was doing. Celestia was appalled by what she was seeing.

“Mr. Tirek. How dare you come into my school and threaten my students. I will see to it that you never teach again.” Celestia said pulling out her cell phone.

Tirek laid there pinned down growling and muttering under his breath.

Soon the police had come to arrest Tirek for threatening a student and attempted to harm a student. As Tirek was lead into the car by officer Shining Armor and Sheriff Silver Star drove off Celestia said she was glad the girls were ok. The 8 girls thanked her and headed off to the bus ramp to wait for the bus. They were all very glad that Tirek was put away not to ever hurt them or any other student ever.

“Hey wait a minute... Didn’t that Shining Armor guy work as a movie police man?” Sonata asked confused.

“Oh don’t worry about it Duskie. Shining Armor is an officer in training. The movie theater was just for gags.” Pinkie Pie replied, chuckling slightly in a good way.

“Ooooh ok then.” Sonata squealed.

The rest of the girls didn’t bother think of anything Pinkie had just said and could wait to get home.

t was a hot dry day in the quiet  town of Tacoville. The skies were clear as the dry winds blew into town. The town’s folk where standing outside of the bars watching ever so quietly. There standing in the sandy streets was their sheriff. She was known far and wide as the fastest gunslinger in the wild west. She wore a taco sombrero on her head and had on a black poncho. Her name was Sonata the Dusk A.K.A. the Taco Eater. She was in a show down with the legendary outlaw Stinky Cheese A.K.A. the Taco Killer. They glared at each other as a tumble weed rolled past them. Sonata cracked her fingers as she had her hands inches away from her gun holster. 




“This town is big enough for the both of us Stinky. You could have lived in the town house by the barber shop. But it’s a little too late for that.” Sonata said looking at Stinky. “You’re a wanted man. You killed fifty innocent tacos in cold blood. Tacos were meant to be eaten not killed. What do you have to say for yourself?”




“Grrr I HATE tacos. You know what I hate more than one taco?” Stinky asked looking back at Sonata.




“No what?” Sonata replied confused.




“TWO TACOS!” Stinky yelled.




Sonata gritted her teeth as she glared at Stinky Cheese even harder. 




The clock soon struck twelve as both Stinky and Sonata drew their weapons. They both fired at the same time. The town’s people stood in silence as Stinky’s hat flew off into the wind as a hawk flew over head.. Sonata stood there with her poncho blowing in the wind. Stinky Cheese grabbed his chest as he coughed. He walked a few steps toward Sonata before falling to his knees. He had the look of a man who just got hit in the chest with an out of the oven apple pie. Bits of apple fell to the ground as Stinky looked at his executioner for the last time. He then fell to the ground dead as a door nail for some reason. The town’s people all cheered as they rushed to congratulate their hero for saving the town. Sonata was lifted into the air as they chanted her name and deemed her the new legend of the wild west.







The blue siren found herself being woken up by the ringing sound of Ms. Harshwinny’s bell. It was time for her and everyone else in the Alternative House to wake up for school. She was saddened by the fact that she was woken up from a wonderful dream. Sonata rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she yawned softly. She then leaned up and looked over to see Adagio still asleep in her bed, snoring like a train. Sonata giggled knowing trains can’t snore but if they could it would be funny.




Because Adagio was a hard sleeper, Sonata and Aria would take this time to get into the bathroom and do what they had to do before she woke up and hogged the bathroom. 




Sonata soon turned her attention to the bathroom door as she heard the toilet flush. Out came their pasty skinned roommate putting her glasses on. 




As Twist put her glasses on she looked to see Sonata and Aria weere up. She gave both girls a strange look. Aria looked up to see her staring at her and became annoyed.




“May I help you ginger?” Aria barked.




“Sthorry. It’sth just you galsth look really dithfferent.” Twist said nervously. “Did you sthleep with make-up on lastht night?”




“No. We don’t wear make-up.” Sonata said as she climbed down from the top bunk.




“Yeah. So sorry if we all don’t look like ginger dorks like you.” Aria said getting out of bed.




Twist moved out of Aria’s way as the two sirens went into the bathroom. 




Both girls looked into the mirror and noticed nothing strange about themselves. They looked like they always looked. Sonata was confused as she searched herself for pimples, acne, zits, and what ever else could ruin her cute face. Aria just shrugged it off and thought nothing of it. Thinking Twist was just being lame as she always was. As she put on her clothes she began to comb her hair. As she was combing she turned her eyes to Sonata’s reflection. Sonata was singing the bacon pancake song as she combed her long pony tail. Aria just rolled her eyes at her randomness and continued to fix her pig tails. As Aria was combing the tips of her hair, she stopped what she was doing and just froze in place as she just remembered something horrible. She dropped the comb into the sink and opened the door in a panic. She ran to Adagio who was still sound asleep in her bed. Aria grabbed the sleeping siren by the shoulders and yelled for her to wake up. After about ten seconds Adagio opened her eyes in anger as she glared at Aria. The yellow siren gritted her teeth.




“You better have a REALLY good reason to wake me up like that Aria!” Adagio demanded as she grabbed Aria by the collar. “Or I’m going to see what color you turn when being strangled!”




“Ooh maybe dark purple.” Sonata said standing outside the bathroom door.




“Adagio, the curse. It’s happening now. The curse is starting.” Aria said with panic in her eyes.




“Grr What are you talking about? What cur-“ Adagio’s expression soon turned to horror as she knew what Aria was talking about.




“Huh? What curse?” Sonata asked confused with a toothbrush in her mouth.




“Sonata you ditz. The Si.. Hmmpft” Aria was cut off by Adagio putting her hand over her mouth.




“Sonata sweetie. You know the “curse.” It’s Aria’s time of the month.” Adagio said lying through her teeth.




“Ew” Twist said disgusted.




Ooooh I get it.” Sonata said shaking her head. “It’s Aria turn to buy groceries this month.”




Both sirens looked at Sonata with a blank expression on their face. Adagio was going to tell her what a woman’s time of the month means but decided not to. She then took Aria outside the room to talk to her. Adagio looked around to see the halls were empty and nobody was around to hear them.




“Ok Aria are you sure it’s happening?” Adagio asked removing her hand from Aria’s mouth.




“Yeah.. Well maybe. Twist said me and Sonata looked different. And we both look the same as we always do.” Aria replied.




“Hmm.. Well let's see if anyone else thinks we look different. Anything coming from her mouth doesn’t mean much. Not after she said that Canadian singer Whiney Beaver was a better pop singer then Sapphire Shores.” Adagio said.




“True, also why didn’t you let me remind Sonata of the Siren’s Curse?” Aria asked with her arms crossed.




“Because she apparently forgot about it. She doesn’t need to know whats going on. Besides she is happy not knowing about it.” Adagio replied.




After a morning of strange stares and convincing Ms. Harshwinny that they were using a new brand of make-up called uncover girl, the girls were finally at school. As they walked through the halls they couldn’t help but notice they were being stared at by some of the students. Aria was getting a little ticked off at being looked at as if she was some circus freak. While Adagio just kept looking straight ahead not making any kind of eye contact with the students. Sonata on the other hand was oblivious as to what was going on. She had her mind on tacos and today was taco Tuesday. She squeed with excitement as she walked along with no cares in the world. 




Suddenly out of nowhere Pinkie Pie jumped in front of them wearing a basket on her head with letters in it. Sonata gasped as she saw her hyper random friend with a funny looking hat.




“Oh my gosh is today dress weird day? I totally forgot.” Sonata said in a panic.




“Hehe No silly that's next Tuesday. Today is Sunset’s Birthday and all of you are invited to her super sweet seventeenth birthday party today at her house.” Pinkie said handing the sirens their invitations.




Both Adagio and Aria declined the offer until Twist came carrying two tickets in her hand.




“Hi Sthonata. Would you and Adathio like to come to the moviesth with me to sthee Whiny Beaver’sth movie never sthay never?” Twist asked with a smile on her face.




“Sorry Twist I’m going to Sunset’s birthday party. But Aria is OW!” Aria pinched Sonata’s sides.




“Haha Twist why I would LOVE to. After all Beaver is such a talented kid.” Adagio said lying through her teeth wanting to throw up. She then put her arm around Pinkie’s shoulder and smiled. “But you see Pinkie already invited us to go to Sunset’s party.”




“But you sa-“ Adagio covered Pinkie’s mouth preventing her from speaking.




“Yeah ginger. Maybe you should ask Snips or Snails to go with you. After all you three share stupid taste in music.” Aria said crossing her arms with a smirk on her face. “I heard Snips has a crush on you.”




“Oh my gosth for real?” Twist asked blushing.




“Yes maybe you should go now before the bell rings.” Adagio said still with her arm around a confused Pinkie.




Twist smiled at this, showing off her braces. She thanked Adagio and Aria before bolting down the halls to find Snips and Snails. Aria and Adagio looked at each other before chuckling. They both didn’t even know if what they said was even true nor did they care. Adagio uncovered Pinkie’s mouth and told her that Aria and herself would be coming to the party. Pinkie smiled as she told the two what time to come. Adagio nodded as she and Aria walked off to their class. 




Sonata glanced at the clock on the wall to see the time. She freaked out as she had only two minutes left to get to class. Pinkie looked to see what she was freaking out about. She soon followed suit as they both said their goodbyes before they ran to their respective classes. Sonata ran to her locker and quickly got what she needed. She dropped her lock twice before she finally locked her locker. She then ran into her classroom right when the bell rang. The siren sighed in relief as she walked to her desk. 




Sunset looked to see her siren friend getting into class in the nick of time. However something was a little off about her.




“Hey Sonata. Glad you made it.” Sunset said with a smile. “Umm did you try new make-up?”




Sonata sat in her desk and looked at Sunset. “Well.. Apparently we did. But I don’t remember putting on make-up at all.”




Sunset had a confused look on her face. “We? You mean Adagio and Aria put on.. Um make-up to?” 




“Yeah. I know it’s strange too. Make-up is suppose to make you pretty not.. Strange looking. Even though I look the same as I always have.”




“Excuse me ladies. May I get on with class or should we wait till you're done?”




“Oh sorry Mr. Right Angle.” Sunset said looking in the front.




“No you can go ahead and teach.” Sonata said with a smile.




Lunch time had rolled around and the girls were all standing in line waiting to get their trays. Both Sonata and Pinkie were standing in line singing the taco song. A song that Sonata made up just for Taco Tuesday. Adagio and Aria just rolled their eyes at the two. Sunset saw the two singing and just grinned at their randomness. She felt a tap on her shoulder and looked to see it was Rainbow Dash.




“Hey what’s with the Dazzlings ah..  new look?” Rainbow whispered to Sunset making sure the siren couldn’t hear her.




“I wanted to ask to. But I didn’t want to offend them.” Fluttershy added standing beside Rainbow. “They look different from yesterday.”




“I’m not sure. Apparently they put on new make-up. Sonata doesn’t remember anything about it.” Sunset replied with a confused look. “I think they are hiding something though.”




“Like what?” Rainbow questioned.




“I’m not sure. But I am going to get to the bottom of it.” Sunset said.




The girls had finally sat down at their table. Even Adagio and Aria joined them this time. As they were eating Rarity looked at the three sirens. She couldn’t help herself but to stare as they looked odd. She wanted to ask them when they were in line but saw it to be unladylike. Rarity leaned to Sunset who was sitting by her and asked if she might have known anything. Sunset put her milk down and looked at Rarity. She told her what Sonata said that morning about the supposed make-up. Rarity looked puzzled that make-up could make someone look like this. Granted she new make-up can make someone ugly, funny looking, or even like a street walker. But this was weird, The sirens just looked flat out strange. Rarity looked over at Adagio who was eating her salad. 




“Umm.. Adagio? Might I ask darling. What is the name of your.. Ah new make-up?”




Adagio swallowed her food and gritted her teeth looking at Rarity. The yellow siren was annoyed by the question. “It’s a new make-up from France. Ok? Now drop it and let me eat.”




Rarity was even more confused. She knew every single brand of make-up and fashion from France. Heck out of all the places in the world she knew France more than her own country. Never once did she hear about a French brand of make-up that did this to someone. Not even the secret experiment make-up that was tested on lab rats that might have burned the poor things. The girl just dropped the subject and respected Adagio’s wishes to not talk about it. There was an awkward silence at the table as the girls just sat and ate their lunches. Rainbow Dash being someone who does not like the silence looked up at Sonata eating her tacos blissfully, thought she would ask the siren a question.




“So.. Sonata you really love tacos huh?” Rainbow said trying to break the awkward silence.




Sonata had half the taco in her mouth and looked at Rainbow dash. She started to chew the crunchy treat and then swallowed it. “Huh what do you mean?” Sonata asked confused.




“Well it just seems you really love tacos.” Rainbow said failing to make a good conversation. 




“Yeah sugarcube. You love tacos as much as Derpy loves muffins.” Applejack added taking a bite of her apple.




“Well... I don’t “love” Tacos. I mean they're my favorite food and all. But I’m not obsessed with them.” Sonata said. “I really love singing, music, cooking, art, anime, and much more. Tacos are just my favorite food. Like cupcakes are Pinkie’s favorite sweet and Apple cider is your favorite drink. Also it’s reeeeally fun to say tacos teehee”




“Yeah Dashie. You make Duskie sound as if she is some one time character. Who some crazy fandom made into a two dimensional taco obsessed maniac just because she said something like “It’s taco Tuesday” and that’s all there is about her.” Pinkie said making the expression Sonata did when she said it was Taco Tuesday that one time.




Rainbow Dash and Applejack were blown away to know that there was more to Sonata then being a ditz and eating tacos. Aria decided to challenge Rainbow Dash to bloody knuckle to see who was more hard core. Rainbow grinned and excepted the challenge as the other girls talked and ate. Elsewhere at a nearby table a grey skinned, blonde haired, derpy eyed girl was happily eating muffins while wearing a “I heart muffins" T-Shirt.




School had ended for the day and Pinkie Pie went home with Sunset Shimmer to get the party ready for the birthday girl. After about an hour of getting the party ready there was a knock on the door. Sunset placed her cake on the table and told Pinkie that she would get the door. She walked into the living room and opened the door to see Rarity wearing a pretty party dress that she made for the occasion. She was holding a present with gem patterns on it. Sunset complimented the fashionistas dress and invited her in. 




After awhile every friend of Sunset’s came, all but the siren girls. Sunset was starting to get discouraged for awhile thinking Adagio and Aria weren’t going to come. She was also confused as to why hadn’t Sonata come yet. The more she thought about it the more she kept thinking that it might have been linked to the strange events that surrounded the three sirens since this morning. 




Just when Sunset was about to give up hope, there was a knock on the door. “I’ll get it!” Pinkie Pie yelled skipping to the door. As the hyper girl opened the door, there stood the three sirens. Sunset was over joyed to see Sonata and the other two sirens making it. Sunset greeted the three girls as Sonata gave her a present with green wrapping paper. Sunset took the gift and gave the blue siren a hug. She invited all three girls in and thanked them for coming.




“Of course we’d come Shimmie. We're friends and it’s a party.” Sonata said with a smile.




“This party got any vodka, bacon head?” Aria asked sitting herself in the recliner 




“Um no but I have an X-Box one and there are games.”  Sunset replied.




“Great. So what are we going to do has been?” Adagio asked standing by Aria.




“Well we are going to party.” Sunset said.




“YEAH! I got tons of party stuff planned for Sunset. This is her seventeenth birthday party. I made the theme “Hello Kitty.” Sunsets favorite!” Pinkie said bouncing. 




Adagio rolled her eyes in disgust at the idea. She soon turned her attention to a woman in a red dress with velvet red hair coming down from the stairs. 




“Why good afternoon Sunset’s friends.” The woman said looking around.




The girls all said hello to the woman in the red dress. The woman looked at Sonata and then the other two sirens with a smile. Before the girls came Sunset told her that her three friends had used some “bad make-up.”




“Ladies. My little Sunset told me you girls have used some bad make-up?” The woman asked.




“Yeah?” Aria said biting her nails.




“Well not to pry girls. But if you want my advise. You should use Minty’s Secret gen 3 brand make-up. I always do.” The woman said poofing her hair.




“Thanks. Um may I ask who are you?” Adagio asked.




“Oh where are ma manners. Ma names Cherry Jubilee.”  Cherry replied. “I’m sweet Sunset Shimmer’s adoptive mother.”




Aria chuckled. “Sweet Sunset? You must not know when she hmmpft.” A cupcake was shoved into Aria’s mouth by Pinkie. 




“Huh? Know what?” Cherry asked with a confused look.




“Oh she wore white after labor day haha. I still haven’t forgiven her for that.” Rarity said with a crooked smile. 




Cherry looked even more confused but she knew Rarity was known to be a drama queen. “Ok well I’m going to get to work. Be back later tonight. Cherry Jubilee hugged Sunset before leaving. “Have fun sweetie and happy birthday.




As Cherry Jubilee left, Adagio looked at Sunset with a strange look.




“Mind telling me why your pink friend did that?” Adagio asked. “Granted at least it shut Aria up for the moment.”




“EMM HMM!?” Aria said still chewing the cupcake and drinking some punch to wash it down.




“Well you see... Mom doesn’t know about my past. As far as she knows I was never.. Well evil.” Sunset said slightly embarrassed. “So please keep the events from my past to us ok?” 




“Truthfully I don’t care. It’s just the idea of you being sweet that I find hilarious.” Adagio said.




“Heeeey. Wait a minute. If Celestia banished you here. How did you meet her?” Sonata asked confused while holding a cup of punch.




“*gulp* yeah bacon head. I figured you would be on the streets or in an orphanage.” Aria said finally swallowing the cupcake then wiping the frosting off her mouth.




“Well you see.” Sunset said looking kinda sad. Remembering the event when she was taken in.




Long ago when I was banished from Equestria. I was only ten years of age. At the time I was banished, it was cold. I was scared and had no idea who or what I was, in a new body and world. I only had the book Celestia gave me and clothes that manifested on me when I came into this world. I wandered the streets looking for a way back but had no luck. I was nothing without my magic. I was still a brat back then. Demanding people for food only to be slapped across the face or ignored. Then it happened. The night my life changed. It was a cold rainy night as I was walking alone. I couldn’t feel my face or fingers as I had nothing but a garbage bag as a raincoat. I also hadn’t had anything to eat in five days. I thought I was done for. I lost all hope as I was cold, hungry, and alone. So I just stood there by the road crying in the freezing cold rain, afraid that I was going to die. It wasn’t until I was blinded by a bright light. I heard that when you are about to die you were supposed to see a light before your eyes. I must have passed out because the next thing I knew, I’m at the hospital with Ms. Cherry Jubilee sitting by me. She saved my life back then. She asked me why was I out in the cold rain. I told her my story of what happened. Luckily I was still just a child because she thought I made the Princess and pony thing up. But she did believe that my parents threw me out in the cold. I told her I had no home or family to go to. Being the kind lady she is, she decided that she would take me in. If it hadn’t been for Ms. Cherry Jubilee, I would have died long ago. That is why no matter how evil I was. I never showed it to her.

When Sunset was finished telling the story both Sonata and Pinkie held each other crying. Fluttershy and Rarity sniffed as Adagio said nothing to Sunset. Reason being is it touched Adagio but she refused to admit it. Aria wiped away a small tear from her cheek.




“Hey Aria? Are you crying?” Rainbow asked with misty eyes trying to be big.




“No shut up your crying Skittles.” Aria barked.




“Haha hey lets continue with the party.” Sunset said with a smile. “No need to be sad is there?”




The girls carried on partying. Rainbow Dash and Aria played the new Mortal Kombat. While Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy played uno. Sonata, Pinkie, and Sunset were doing the Harlem Shake in front of the radio.




Adagio just sat and watched, she didn’t wish to join in on the fun. She was busy thinking of what she and the other two sirens had to do. The curse was starting and she knew it would get worse and worse as the days went by. She had hoped that she’d have more time to plan. Deep down though the yellow siren knew what had to be done. She knew that she and the other two could no longer stay. However she knew Aria wouldn’t care about leaving, the real issue was getting Sonata to go as well. 




After about ten minutes of thinking she had an idea. However it would have to wait til tomorrow.

The party lasted til ten o’clock at night. The girls didn’t have school the following day so it was ok if they stayed out late. Once the party was finally over, Applejack took them home in her truck. Sunset was sitting in the front seat as Rarity was in the back being squished in with the sirens against the window. She was very unhappy about being packed in the back like a can of sardines. Applejack said she could sit in the tail gate if she wanted to. But she refused to sit in the tail gate with Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow like some wild child as she put it.




Applejack soon dropped off the sirens first at the Alternative House. The trio said their goodbyes and left. Rainbow and Fluttershy jumped into the back with Rarity. Pinkie Pie on the other hand stayed in the back loving the wind in her hair. Applejack then drove off to drop the other girls off at their respective homes.




Rainbow Dash leaned up from her seat. “Ok Sunset. What’s this plan of yours? They really are hiding something from us.”




“I agree with Rainbow Dash. No make-up in the world makes you look so.. Icky.” Rarity said fixing her hair.




“Yeah. Adagio was lying through her teeth like the time Applebloom ate the last plate of cake and tried to blame it on Wynona.”  Applejack added.




“Yeah. Tomorrow morning lets all visit them. And try to get to the bottom of it.” Sunset said with a concerned look on her face. “That is all we can hope to do. I am worried about Sonata and the other two. I can’t help but think this might be linked to their gems.”




“You mean those tacky things around their necks that we destroyed?” Rarity asked.




“Yeah didn’t they feed off of our negative energy or sumthin?” Applejack added confused as to what Sunset was getting at.




“Yeah but.. Maybe that’s how they feed. Like eating.” Sunset replied.




“Oh no. You mean they might be starving to death?” Fluttershy asked with worry in her eyes.




“But wait, they look strange not.. Hungry.” Rainbow added.




“I’m not sure. Lets just wait til tomorrow.” Sunset replied. “At the moment, I can’t think of anything until I know more about this. Like I said it might be linked to the gems that we destroyed weeks ago. I just hope they are ok.”




Sunset lowered her head with a worried look. As the girls sat in silence Applejack looked in her rear view mirror. She grunted as she rolled down her window.




“PINKIE STOP MOONING!!” Applejack said yelling out the window.




It was the next day as the three sirens were awake. The girls were getting dressed and getting their clothes packed. Adagio had told Sonata that they were going for a trip. Sonata was confused at this because she knew they only had one day off school. So Adagio made up a lie saying that Principal Celestia gave them time off for being such good students. Sonata was happy to hear that she was such a good student. But didn’t understand how Aria was a “good” Student due to her grades being C’s. Aria just flipped Sonata off for the smart remark and continued packing. 




As the girls were finished packing they put on their hoodies. Just as Adagio was about to open the door Twist woke up and asked where they were going. Aria told her it was none of her business and to go back to bed. Twist looked over to Sonata and put her glasses on to see her better only to be shocked.




“Oh my gosth Sthonata!” Twist said in horror.




“What? Do I have something on my face?” Sonata asked confused touching her face.




“No.. Your um.. Make-up looksth like it’sth decaying.” Twist replied with disgust. “All of you galsth make-up doesth.




“What?” Sonata asked feelings hurt.




“Twist doesn’t mean that Sonata haha..” Adagio said putting up her hoodie and trying to comfort her fellow siren. “She just has something on her glasses.”




“Yeah isn’t that right ginger?” Aria said glaring at Twist, cracking her knuckles.




“Ah yesth sthorry It’sth justht my glassesth.” Twist answered afraid of Aria. “You galsth look pretty.”




Sonata was still confused as to why her pasty skinned roommie would say something so mean. She even started to think about yesterday at all the weird stares the students gave her and her two friends. She dwelled on it as the three girls started walking out the room. As the girls were about to leave Ms. Harshwinny called them.




“Excuse me Ms. Adagio. Where might you be going this early?” Ms. Harshwinny said with her face looking like she just had botox injected.




“Oh we are going to the Diamond D Mall Ms. Harshwinny we will be back later today at five.” Adagio said.




“With hoodies on in ninety degree weather?” Ms. Harshwinny asked with a raised eyebrow.




“Yeah. We are in a flash mob. But we don’t have trench coats so we are going to just use our hoodies.” Adagio replied back not removing her hood.




“Hmmm.. Ok fine. Don’t get into any trouble.” Ms. Harshwinny said walking away. “*sigh* teenagers these days.”




The three sirens started walking. As they were, Sonata noticed that Adagio was going the wrong way. She asked her why were they going this way. Adagio told the blue siren that they were going to the train station. Sonata was even more confused than ever now. The girl stopped walking and just stood on the sidewalk with her head down. Adagio and Aria noticed this and turned to face her.




“Sonata. We are going on a trip. We can go to the mall any time.” Adagio said trying to convince her fellow siren to come with her.




“Adagio.. I know you're hiding something. You're not telling me because you think it will hurt me.” Sonata said sniffling. “What you don’t realize is that it hurts me more when you leave me out of these things.”




“Sonata we don’t have time for this.” Aria said trying to be stern with her.




“No.. I can’t. Something is up and I want to know Adagio. I’m not that stupid.” Sonata was saying as she rubbed her eyes of tears. “People have been acting strange and Twist said we looked disgusting. On top of that this whole trip seems like a lie.”




“Sonata please understand it’s not that easy to explain.” Adagio said approaching her.




“I don’t want to go on any trip, not until you tell me what you're hiding Adagio!” Sonata demanded with tears flowing down her face.




Aria stood in shock as she witnessed for the first time in her life Sonata raising her voice up at Adagio. Even Adagio was shocked by this. Sonata then asked Adagio what was going on again. The yellow siren didn’t answer. Sonata then turned and ran away. Adagio called her name as the blue siren ran. Both Adagio and Aria chased after her. After running after Sonata they soon lost sight of her. The two sirens were out of breath and soon stopped.




“That ditz... is really fast..” Aria said out of breath. “Where could... she have gone?”




Adagio leaned on the wall catching her breath thinking of where she could have gone to. “I got it.”




“Oh my gosh Maud look!” Pinkie Pie yelled pointing her finger at the bottle of hand lotion. “I have found the bottle of hand lotion that I needed for some reason.”




“Mmmhmm you still could have gone to the Dollar store.” Maud said drinking her soda showing no expression on her face.




“Yeah but I just had a feeling. A feely kind of feeling that made me feel feelish.” Pinkie said grabbing the hand lotion and walking to the counter to pay for it. “I needed to buy this hand lotion from this mall for a reason that I can not even begin to fathom or the balance of the universe will come undone.”




“Hmm.” Maud said as she just looked around to see anything that sparked her interest. She looked outside the window and saw a girl with a hoodie on walking by. "Hey isn’t that one of your siren friends?"




Pinkie turned to see who Maud was pointing to. Sure enough outside walking away from the store was a girl in a hoodie. “Oh my gosh yes! And by the looks of it. It’s Sonata and she is sad.”




“How do you know?” Maud asked. “They all have hoodies.”




“Maud we've been sisters since forever. You should know that I know all my friends from height, weight, fashion etc. I know what all my friends look like down to a T or a P hehe.”




Sonata was walking into the mall. She wanted to be happy but just couldn’t. She needed to get away from Adagio and Aria and be alone by herself. She had no clue what was going on. As the sad siren was walking, she went by a lotion store and headed her way to the food court to sit down. She pulled out a chair and sat feeling worse than she had in a long time. She placed her head onto the table and started to cry. She was scared that she would lose her friends because of this thing that was happening. Her tears were short lived as she felt a tapping on her shoulder. She lifted her head up to see Pinkie Pie standing before her. She tried to hide her face not wanting Pinkie to be disgusted. 




“Hi Duskie. Are you ok?” Pinkie asked with a huge smile on her face. “Can I help turn that frown upside down?”




“..Sorry Pinkie. But I don’t want you to see my ugly face.” Sonata sniffed.




“Ugly? Sonata you're not ugly, you're the prettiest blue siren I know. Well the only blue Siren I know.” Pinkie replied with a sad look on her face.




“F-for real? You won’t look at me disgusted?” Sonata asked nervously.




“Me and Maud, Pinkie promise. Cross our hearts, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in our eye.” Pinkie replied with a weak smile.




Sonata let out a sigh afraid of what was about to come. The girl lifted her head to face Pinkie and Maud. She grabbed her hood and brought it down with her eyes closed, ready for them to say she was gross. After five seconds of nothing she opened her eyes to see Pinkie smiling at her and Maud, well Maud had no expression on her face as always. “You're not sickened by me?” Sonata asked confused.




“No. I mean you do look different but I don’t care. You’re my friend and your looks don’t matter to me.” Pinkie said hugging Sonata.




“Th-thank you Pinkie. That makes me feel much better.” Sonata said hugging her back. “But.. What about you?”




“I’m not into judging people like other shallow girls.” Maud said still not changing her expression. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”




Sonata was shocked to hear that Pinkie nor her sister Maud were sickened by her appearance. Pinkie sat down in front of her siren friend.




“But what is up with that make-up though?” Pinkie asked confused. “Not even Rarity’s cheap make-up looks that bad.”




“This isn’t make-up.” Sonata replied. “Adagio is hiding a secret and she won’t tell me. I want to get to the bottom of it. But neither she nor Aria will tell me.”




“Well here’s your chance.” Maud said pointing her finger behind Sonata. “They are coming this way.”




“Oh wow Maud your good at finding people today.” Pinkie said with a smile.




The other two Sirens approached the table. Pinkie waved at the two and asked them to join. Adagio declined the girl’s offer and asked Sonata to come with them. Sonata looked down at the table not wanting to go with them away from her other friends. She looked up and asked where they were going. Adagio instead of lying decided to be truthful.




“Ok Sonata. You want the truth, fine.” Adagio said with a sigh. “What is happening is the curse is coming back. The curse that will make us ugly. So that is why it’s best to get out of town before we are chased out.”




“Thats not true. Me and Maud still like Sonata even though she has this curse thingy.” Pinkie said to Adagio. “And we will never chase her out of town. I’m sure the other girls will feel the same way. So you don’t have to leave town.”




“It’s not that easy. Beside you two are just TWO people out of the entire town.” Aria barked.




“Well I’m sure the girls can help if you let us Adagio?” Pinkie told the yellow siren.




“Yeah. Adagio. Please let’s try to see if they can help.” Sonata pleaded. “That’s what friends do for each other. They help you no matter what.




Adagio rolled her eyes as she was getting tired of the conversation. She by no means wanted to ask Sunset - the same person who got her into this predicament - for help. She wanted to hurry and get out of town before the curse got any worse. Besides She knew that not even her friends could save them from this fate. “Sorry but no. They can’t help us. It would be best to just get out of town now.” 




“You can’t always run from your problems Adagio. Sometimes you are going to have to face them.” Maud said drinking her soda.




“Yes. I think we should ask Sunset to help us.” Sonata said with a pouty lip. 




“Really? Sonata you keep talking about how they are such good friends. And how they are always going to stand by your side. Well Sonata. Where are they? Where is the has been and her friends to shower us with the magic of frikin friendship?” Adagio asked starting to get annoyed with all the friendship nonsense.




“Coming right now.” Maud said pointing behind Adagio as the rest of the main six girls were walking out of Minty’s Secret.




“Hehe yeah I texted Sunset where Sonata was and she must have texted the other girls to come here to the mall as well.” Pinkie squeed. 




“You gotta be kidding me.” Adagio said with a sigh.




Sunset and the other girls were walking toward them. She was looking right at Adagio who still had her hoodie up. She couldn’t see the yellow siren’s face. But she did look over to see Sonata sitting at the table with worry in her eyes. As the girls came to the table Rarity made a look of shock. This in turn made Sonata worry that her friends were going to turn against her like Adagio said. 




“Oh I’m sorry darling. It’s just the.. Um make-up is ruining your beauty.” Rarity said trying to comfort her.




“So.. You think I’m ugly then?” Sonata asked. “Guess you don’t want to be friends anymore.”




“Darling no. I’m your friend no matter what sweetie. Regardless of your looks.” Rarity replied.




“Yeah we all are Dusk.” Rainbow added with a smile.




“Darn tootin Sugarcube.” Applejack remarked.




“Yeah. We love you no matter what Sonata. Oh and even you Adagio and Aria...um if it’s ok with you.” Fluttershy said nervously.




“Well isn’t friendship just magical? I think I’m gonna puke.” Aria said getting disgusted. 




Sunset looked at Adagio with a mad expression on her face. “Listen Adagio. Let us help you please. What ever is going on we can help. Or at least try.”




Adagio looked back at Sunset. “Why do you want to help us so much has been?”




“Because.. That’s what friends do.” Sunset replied.




Adagio gritted her teeth and clenched her fist. She couldn’t stand the idea of being friends with anyone. Especially the one who destroyed her gems. “Listen has been. We are NOT-“ Adagio stopped as she felt a hand grabbing her arm. She looked down to see Sonata with tears in her eyes.




“Please Adagio. Tell us what’s going on. I’m scared.” Sonata pleaded.




The yellow siren looked deep into the teary siren’s eyes. Even though she had no problems telling Sonata she was an idiot from time to time, the one thing that made her cold heart hurt was to see tears in her eyes. She let out a sigh and looked back at Sunset. “Ok Sunset. You win. We will tell you what is going on.”




The girls all went to a much bigger table so they could sit. Maud didn’t wish to be apart of the group because she felt that this wasn’t for her to be concerned about. That this was only for them alone. She went to Hot Topic to get a rock band T-Shirt. Pinkie waved to her older sister as she turned her attention to Adagio. All the girls were looking at the Siren trio ready to know what was wrong. Adagio and Aria let down their hoods revealing to them the curse.




“Ok Sunset. When you destroyed our gems two weeks ago, The Siren’s Curse came back.” Adagio said.




“Oh no.. a-are you going to starve?” Fluttershy asked with worry in her eyes.




“No. What gave you that idea? We're not changelings. We feed off of negative energy to grow stronger and break the curse.” Aria said crossing her arms. 




“We needed those gems to feed off of negative energy to keep the curse away. It’s basically your faults.” Adagio said looking at Sunset.




“Hey we're not the ones who were trying to take over our school. You deserved it!” Rainbow added.




“Yes. Couldn’t you girls put on make-up or maybe get plastic surgery?” Rarity asked.




“It’s a CURSE. Meaning no matter what make-up we use or plastic surgery we get, the curse will shine through.” Adagio replied ignoring Rainbow’s comment.




“So wait you had to feed off of our hate to hide the curse? Applejack asked. 




“That’s right cowgirl.” Aria replied.




“But wait, the legend said you Sirens were evil beings that fed off of negative energy and tried to conquer Equestria.” Sunset said. 




“Evil isn’t born Bacon Head. It’s made.” Aria said.




“Yeah but you wanted the world to admire you.” Sunset added.




“Do you have any idea what it’s like to be us pretty little unicorn? Huh? “Adagio asked glaring at Sunset. “You have no idea how hard it is being a siren. To live in a world with pretty little ponies. Even Changelings looked at us in disgust. When we discovered our gift we had no choice but to use it. Just so we could be LOVED! Like every other creature in Equestria. It isn’t our fault that we turned evil. No it’s your kinds fault.




“Thats terrible. I thought ponies where nice?” Fluttershy said.




“In truth. It wasn’t ponies that made us evil.” Adagio said.




“Huh, then who did?” Sunset asked.




“Maybe it would be best to start from the beginning darling? You know to better understand how you came to be.” Rarity added.




“Fine you want to know the story of the sirens? Ok then.” Adagio asked.




The girls all nodded because they wanted to know the true origin of the sirens.

Equestria 1000 years ago




When I was born, the world was covered in ice and snow due to the Wendigos. This was the time ponies didn’t know harmony and because of it, the Wendigos fed off it, making it snow all over the world. I, like all sea creatures lived in the ocean which was covered in a sheet of ice. Also like the life of a siren, I was born into this world alone with no family to call my own. I wandered aimlessly in the cold ocean looking for someone to talk to, to befriend. However it was all in vain, for every single creature looked at me in disgust, even the blob fish gagged when it saw me. After days of being rejected from every other creature in the ocean, I decided to just give up. I laid on the bottom of the ocean floor crying because I was alone, that was until I met Muse.




A light purple sea pony swam close to little Adagio. She tapped on her shoulder to get her attention. Little Adagio looked up with eyes red. "Shoo be do, what’s the matter little siren?" Muse asked with a concern look on her face.




"*sniff* I-I’m alone...every creature in the sea looks at me and is revolted. I-I don’t understand why." Little Adagio said wiping tears from her eyes.




"Shoo be do, that’s terrible, nopony should be alone." Muse said with a frown on her face as she stroked little Adagio’s head. "Shoo be do, hey would you like to come with me?"




"Huh?.. But aren’t you disgusted by how I look?" Little Adagio said confused by the sea pony’s offer.




"Shoo be do, haha no, I don’t judge by looks, I can tell you have a good heart." Muse said with a smile. "Tell me you have a name?"




"No" Little Adagio said frowning.




"Shoo be do, that's not good, everypony needs a name. It shows you that you’re an individual." Muse remarked. "I got it how about Adagio, Adagio Dazzle?"




"Adagio Dazzle? I-I like that name, thank you." Little Adagio said happy to have a name and found someone to connect with.




I was so happy to have found some one to connect with. Muse had taught me everything she knew about sirens, music, and happiness. It turned out the school she belonged to was attacked and killed by a kraken and she was left alive only because the beast was full. She taught me to smile and no matter what always stay positive. We bonded over the short months we were together. One day we were swimming in a canyon, and once we were about to reach the end of it, out of nowhere came the beast that we feared the most.




Little Adagio and Muse swam through the underwater canyon. At the end of the canyon was a huge hole that looked as if it went down for miles. They didn’t dare risk it and decided to swim up over the canyon. Little did they know that the Kraken jolted out of the hole aiming it’s sights on them. Muse looked behind her and screamed for little Adagio to swim faster. Both of then swam as fast as they could and soon left the canyon. The beast was still on their tail, until out of no where a purple streak bolted and slammed hard into the Kraken’s head. The beast roared as it rubbed the sore spot and aimed it’s eyes at the one who did it. The fast blur circled around the beast, dodging it’s tentacles. Both little Adagio and Muse looked back to see what was going on, they stood there in amazement as they watched the kraken try to grab the purple blur only to get it’s tentacles knotted up. The blur then slammed right into the kraken’s left eye that had a scar on it. The beast howled as the blur swam up to Muse and little Adagio. All three swam far away from the Kraken to a safe place. As they caught their breath Adagio looked at what was another siren, just like her, but purple. Adagio’s jaw dropped as she was so hyped.




"Oh my gosh you’re a siren too! Haha" Little Adagio shrieked as she swam around little Aria. She stopped right in front of Aria with a huge grin. "My name is Adagio Dazzle, what’s yours?"




"Huh? Name...oh my name is The Fastest, coolest Siren in the Ocean and slayer of Octopuses." little Aria said boastfully. 




Human world present day




"PFFFFFT! HAHAHAHA! Seriously Aria? Hahahha the fastest hehe c-coolest... hahaha" Rainbow Dash said laughing while holding her stomach.




"Grrrr Shut up skittles!" Aria demanded with her arms crossed.




"Tee hehehe" Sonata giggled.




"And what are you laughing at Sonata?" Aria demanded.




"Hehe well duh silly, that name you use to go by as a kid hehehe" Sonata chuckled.




"Yeahahaha it’s kinda like Dashies old name remember Dash?" Pinkie Pie asked laughing hard while looking at Rainbow.




"Umm..I hehe don’t know what you're talking about Pinkie. I never had any cheesy nickname." Rainbow said blushing.




"Please darling, don’t you remember that ridiculous name you had us call you. What was it? Captain super dup-" Rarity was soon cut off by Adagio.




"Can I get back to the story, or do you want to talk about how much of a dork both Aria and Rainbow are?" Adagio asked annoyed.




"Sorry Adagio please continue with the story." Sunset said covering her mouth trying not to laugh.




Adagio sighed and rolled her eyes, then began again with the story.




"Shoo be do, haha that isn’t a name silly, that is what you are." Muse said amused.




"Well what’s a name then?" Aria asked confused.




"A name is something that lets others know who you are an individual." little Adagio said still hyped to see another of her kind.




"Ok... well you come up with a name then?" little Aria said.




"Shoo be do, hmmm ok then, how about Aria..... Blaze?" Muse asked.




"Hmm yeah that name sounds super cool, I like it, especially the Blaze part." little Aria remarked with a smile.




That was the happiest I have ever been in a very long time, finally I’ve found another siren like myself. Like myself, Muse taught Aria everything she had done with me. After months went by, the ice had finally melted away and the waters had become warm yet again. The three of us took this as a time to explore the surface. It was so beautiful, nothing we had ever seen before in our lives. As we swam around we saw a large sheet of ice that wasn’t melted yet, we saw that something was on top of it. We looked closer and we saw Sonata sleeping, at this time Sonata was still a baby. 




Both Adagio and Aria flew onto the floating sheet of ice and looked at the sleeping blue baby siren. Muse swam toward the sheet of ice and smiled as she saw yet another siren, another family member. Adagio and Aria smiled as the baby siren woke up to see both sirens looking at her. The baby smiled and lifted it’s hooves out to reach them. Adagio hovered down and picked her up, the little siren cuddled in her arms. 




"Shoo be do, it looks like another member is added to our little family." Muse said with a smile.




"Yeah we are, but what are we gonna name her?" little Aria asked looking at Muse only to be horrified




"MUSE!" Both siren’s screamed as a tentacle came up and pulled Muse under. The siren’s then placed the crying baby back on the ice and flew into the water to save Muse. As they did they saw it was the same Kraken that had been following them for months. Both sirens started to hum in unison as their gems glowed brightly. They then lunched a harmonic magic blast at the Kraken’s head. The beast let out a blast of ink and let go of Muse. Muse swam out of the ink cloud and met up with the sirens. However the beast came jetting towards them angered by what they had done. They swam away with it trailing behind them.




"Shoo be do, listen Adagio, Aria, you girls need to go back to that young siren at once. I am going to distract it ok?" Muse said.




"But that thing could kill you Muse! Please let us stay and defeat it!" little Adagio said in panic.




"Yeah, we can blast it again" Little Aria added.




"Shoo be do, NO girls, your magic isn’t strong enough to hurt it, only make it flinch. You need to go back to that little siren at once, I will meet you there when I lose him ok?" Muse said. "But promise me one thing girls, that no matter what happens, you three will stay together as a family. You are all you've got and nopony can take that from you."




"But Mu-" Adagio was cut off.




"PROMISE!!" Muse yelled with tears flowing from her eyes.




"Y-yes.. I promise Muse." Little Adagio said crying. "Please come back. You're our family too."




"I promise too Muse." Little Aria said with tears flowing. "Please be careful."




Muse turned to look at both girls with a smile, with tears flowing from her eyes. She swam past them. "I love you girls, make me proud." She said as she went toward the Kraken, getting it’s attention. The beast then went after her into the darkness of the ocean. Both Aria and Adagio looked at each other with tears in their eyes, they then swam back to the sheet of ice were the baby siren laid crying. Adagio picked up the crying siren in her arms and held her close. Aria joined in the warm embrace of her fellow sirens, letting tears flow from their eyes, waiting for Muse.




Human world




"We waited on that sheet of ice for a week, we only left it to eat. But Muse nor the kraken ever came back." Adagio said with eyes watering.




The table was quiet as every girl was misty eyed, even Aria, who was thought to be tough as nails had tears running down her face. Sonata and Pinkie pie were holding each other crying. It was one thing that the siren trio were hurt, but Applejack took it the hardest, with tears flowing down her face.




"Why are you crying so much Apple? It’s not like you knew who she was." Adagio questioned.




"No, no I don’t reckon I know who Muse is. But I do know she was a mother to you girls right?" Applejack asked.




"Yeah... You could say that." Aria replied.




"Well.. *sniff* I know what it’s like to lose a parent... I lost both mine when I was a child. Granted our pain could be different." Applejack said wiping a tear away.




"No... losing a parent hurts the same if you loved them. Regardless of who or what you are." Adagio said to applejack, closing her eyes. Adagio felt a new respect for her.




"Umm..I’m sorry... but ah how come you girls look the same age as humans?" Fluttershy said meekly while wiping the tears away.




"*sniff* simple as Sirens, sonata would be three, Aria six, and me nine. As humans Sonata is one year younger then me and Aria, well Aria is a couple months behind me. In other words sirens and humans age differently." Adagio replied.




"Hey but you guys said I was saved from being eaten by a manticore?" Sonata said lifting her head from Pinkie’s shoulder.




"We.. Didn’t want you to have to worry about Muse. We thought it would be best if you didn’t find out that the day we found you, Muse was killed by a kraken." Adagio said. 




"But is this when you became evil?" Sunset asked.




"That part is coming." Adagio replied

	After Muse died, Aria and I raised Sonata the same way Muse did for us. We taught her the life of sirens and what it meant to be a creature that had a voice of an angel but was seen by others as a disgusting monster. However Sonata, as usual, was an air head and tried to befriend the sea creatures around us, only to be heart broken in the end.

1000 years ago in the north side of Equestria in the Olympic Sea. Three years after the death of Muse

Little Sonata was swimming around giggling at the enjoyment of the beautiful day in the ocean. As she was swimming she stumbled upon kelpies. She smiled as she swam towards them, but as soon as they turned to look at her they gagged at the sight of her and swam away. Sonata stopped and started to pout. As she was pouting Aria saw her and went up to her.

“Hey why are you pouting?” little Aria asked concerned.

“Well.. I was wanting to make friends with those Kelpies but when they saw me and swam away.

Aria face hoofed herself knowing that both her and Adagio told Sonata many times why other sea creatures swam away. “Hey maybe they just had to go home.” Little Aria said trying to comfort little Sonata.

“R-reaslzy?” little Sonata asked looking up at Aria.

“Yeah, they might be intimidated by just how awesome we are.” Little Aria replied boastfully. “Oh shoot I almost forgot we need to see Adagio, I heard she found something neat on the surface.

“What is it?” Little Sonata questioned.

“Don’t know, but I heard it’s awesome like me.” Aria replied with a grin.

Both Aria and Sonata went to see Adagio on the surface. As they did they saw Adagio looking over at what seemed to be rainbow colored fog. The girls looked in aw as they seen the odd, but yet beautiful site.

“Adagio what is that?” Little Aria asked

“I don’t know, but I think it’s what Muse called the “Triangle.” It’s a mysterious fog that takes you to a place of strange and weird.” Little Adagio said not taking her eyes off the fog. 

“Oh cool let’s go then!” Little Aria remarked with hype.

“Yeah it look fun and rainbowy!” Little Sonata said splashing the water.

“No girls, Muse said that no matter what it is not a place for those outside.” Little Adagio stated. “Muse said that the Triangle takes you to a new world. A world that defies logic and reason.”

“Ohh... thats no fun. What is the worse that can happen huh? Come on Adagio if it gets to scary we can just leave ok?” Little Aria pleaded.

“Yeah come on Adagio it will be fun. It’s a rainbow and rainbows are fun not evil. I mean sure if it was a rainbow of darkness that could turn us into scary monster dragon things then yeah that would be bad. But it’s a good rainbow because it a rainbow of light not dark.” Little Sonata said.

Adagio sighed as she had a gut feeling it was a bad idea, but Muse never said it was dangerous, It was just strange and weird and if it did get to scary they could leave. Adagio sat there for a minute to think of the pros and cons of the Triangle. After a minute of thinking she let out a light sight and looked at both girls. ”Ok, we can go, but if it gets to dangerous or weird we leave got it?” Little Adagio said given in to what the other two wanted. Both Aria and Sonata agreed and cheered. They swam towards the rainbow fog carefully. As girls approached the fog they started to become nervous at first not knowing what could be waiting for them. They stood there infront of the fog anticipating on going in. Aria soon became impatient and just flew right in without hesitation. Adagio yelled for her to come back as she flew in to get her. Sonata cried out to them to not leve her behind and followed in after Adagio. 



As the three of us entered the fog we found ourselves in a strange world. The ocean was in the sky and the grass was checker pattern. Pigs were flying in the air as fish ran across the land. There were mountains, but they were made of cheese. There was a tree in farmers’ clothes growing popcorn and candy corn as crops. Also the clouds were made of cotton candy and rained chocolate milk over his crops.

Present day

“Wait a minute, this sound an awful like the time Vinyl Scratch gave my some black widow.” Rainbow Dash interrupted with a face of disbelief.

“Hey yeah or that time I took my moms pills and they made me all loony.” Pinkie added spinning her eyes around in her head.

“Um.. Sugar cube, your always loony.” Applejack remarked.

“Oh yeah tee he he.” Pinkie giggled.

“I know it sounds weird, but this place was the realm of chaos. It was Havikia the world of chaos.” Adagio replied.

“Wait a minute, Twilight told me about that place...thats were Discord lives.” Sunset said.

“Who?” Aria asked confused.

“Huh.. you don’t know Discord? He is the master of chaos.. He lives in Havikia.” Sunset stated. “He is a dragconiquies.

“Sorry he must not have been around when we were there.” Adagio said. “Now can I get back to the story?”

The girls all nodded there heads.


Havikia the world of Chaos 1000 years ago

The sirens flew around looking at all the strange and bazaar things around them. Sonata just giggled as she saw a frog with a top hat and cane singing “Come on my Darling.” But every time she would get Aria to look at it, the frog would  just go back to looking like an ordinary frog, this annoyed Aria. The girls soon saw a huge tree with pizza growing out of it and infront of it was a square object with a goat horn and a deer antler. The girls went up to see the strange object.

“What in the world is this?” Little Adagio questioned.

“Oh ohh maybe it’s an egg?” Little Sonata replied with a squee.

“Eggs aren’t square dodo brain.” Little Aria commented.

“I’m not a dodo brain.. Umm siren head.” Little Sonata said back.

“You idiot WE ARE SIRENS! That is-“ Little Aria was interrupted by Adagio.

“GIRLS! Enough it isn’t an egg. So what could it be?” Little Adagio asked.

“ Excussse me chaps, but your blue friend was right me dear, it is an egg.” Said a British voice.

The girls jumped and looked around to see where the voice was coming from. Then out of the tree branches came a long purple python with a funny weird hat. Sonata giggled at it and stuck her tongue out at Aria telling her she told her so, in which Aria grunted.

“W-who are you?” Little Adagio asked looking at the serpent.

“Why my dear, my name is Monty. Monty the Python and may I say you three are simply beautiful.” Minty said as he slithered down the tree looking at Adagio.

“Beautiful? Really?” Little Adagio looked at the snake confused.

“Why yes, you three look like a dead rotting whale caucus left out in the hot sun for days. You are by all mean lovely.” Monty replied using his tail to grab Adagio’s hoof and kiss it.

“Hey that doesn’t sound beautiful? That sounds gross.” Little Aria stated.

“By whatever do you mean gross my dear?” Monty asked.

“She means what you said was icky.” Little Sonata said.

“I say, no, you’re all are simply gorgeous.” Monty replied back.

“Well..um thank you I guess.. Listen how can we get out of here?” Little Adagio asked taking her hoof back.

“Aw do we have to?” Little Sonata whined. “I was wanting to stay and swim in the strawberry river.”

“Yeah this place doesn’t seem all that awesome.” Aria added. “I was hoping to fight.”
Little Adagio face hoofed herself and ignored what they said. She looked back at Monty.

“Yes we need to go back home.” Little Adagio said annoyed by the two.

Monty scratched his chin with his tail thinking for a second, until a light bulb literally appeared above his head. “I got it. See in order to leave Havikia you need to follow the yellow stone road.” Monty then turned to the readers. “Don’t want copy right on our tails now do we chaps?”

The girls looked at him confused. “So we just follow the yellow stone road out of here?” Adagio asked. “But where is it?”

Monty pointed over to where a large sign said “yellow stone road” in the distance. “Over there ladies, but do beware of the beast.”

“Beast?” Adagio questioned.

“Yes the beast. It has evil fur as white as snow, long eveeel ears, a bushy evil cotton tail of pure eviiiiil!, and lastly little evil buck teeth used for evil purposes like eating bones.” Monty said with a strong stern look.

The girls gulped. “Pfft I can take it on.” Little Aria said with a grin.

Adagio just rolled her eyes as Sonata giggled. “Ok the chaps, I guess you should be on your way.” Monty said tipping his hat to them.

The sirens said the good byes to Monty as they went onto the yellow path. They followed the path for what felt like hours. As the girls followed the path they saw strange things like gummy bears camping, herds of buffalo wings grazing, and a lake of orange soda. Looking at all this made Sonata very hungry and caused her stomach to growl. She looked at her belly and turned to Adagio and asked when are they going to eat. Adagio sighed and looked around to find what they could eat that wouldn’t result into something weird. She did have the idea to go back to the gummy bear camp and eat them, but what disgusted with herself when she realized they would most likly scream in horror and eating a gummy child didn’t seem to pleasing. She regretted not asking Monty for advise on what they could eat. She saw an apple tree. Sonata got stary eyed as the girls went up to the tree. As the girls were about to pick an apple the tree opened its eyes and looked rather mad at the sirens for trying to steel an apple.

“Izvinite? May I help you?” The tree said in a thick Russian accent.

“Oh sorry we were just going to take an apple. We are really hungry Mr. Tree.” Little Sonata said with puppy dog eyes.
“Yes please may we have an apple?” Little Adagio asked.

“Oh so you think you can just walks in and take my apples? These are MY apple!” The tree said angrily.

“Hey bub we asked nicely. Now give us an apple we are hungry.” Little Aria barked.

“Listen Mr. Apple tree, we really are hungry. So could we please just pick a few of your apple?” Lttle Adagio asked nicely.

“Pick? Pick an apple? HAHAHA no no no, you don’t pick apples from apple trees. In Havikia, apple tree picks YOU!” The apple tree said about to grab the girls.

The sirens backed up away from his grip and was about to run when they noticed her couldn’t chase them. Aria just laughed and mocked the apple tree.

“HAHA what the matter? Can’t get us?” Little Aria said laughing.

“Der’mo! Get back here so I can pick you.” The apple tree said trying to reach them.

Adagio just sighed “Come on girls lets look else where.”

“Aww..ok” Little Sonata said sadly.

The girls followed the yellow path in hopes of not only finding a way out, but finding food. The hunger was starting to get to Sonata as she whined non stop. Both Aria and Adagio were starting to lose their patents until they saw a bush rattle. They stopped in their tracks to see what was about to pop out. Sonata hid behind Adagio scared it might be the beast that Monty was talking about. Suddenly a cute little chipmunk jumped out of the bushes and ran across the stone road. Sonata got from behind Adagio and squeed as she saw the chipmunk reach the middle of that path eating an acorn. Sonata was about to go toward it until Adagio stopped her and warn her this might be the creature. However the chipmunk just stood there eating the acorn. Then out of nowhere ran in a flash, a white rabbit. The rabbit pounced on the chipmunk and started to eat it. The girls screamed as they saw the display and ran for their lives. Adagio looked behind her and saw the monster chaseing them. She told Aria and Sonata to not stop and keep running. The white rabbit let out a roar that sounded like Godzilla as it chased the girls down, hungry for them. As they flew as fast as they could they saw a huge signed that read “EXIT!” Adagio and the other two were relieved to see they were almost out of here. The rabbit was just inches from Adagio’s tail until they made it out. The girls flew out of Havika and found themselves in the sky. The rabbit made it out only to fall down to the Earth in a Disney villain fashion. 

“Hmm...maybe I should have told those girls that the exit will pit them out into open sky? ... O well.” Monty said to himself drinking his cup of tea.

Present day

“Oh no was the bunny ok?” Fluttershy asked showing great concern.


“Why does it matter? It tried to kill us?” Aria said annoyed.

“That maybe so, but some animals need to..um kill in order to survive. Granted rabbits aren’t known to eat meat, but still.” Fluttershy added.

Adagio sighed. “Yes the rabbit was ok. It landed safely on the earth and lived happily ever after.” 

Fluttershy smiled. “Thats good.”

“So can I get back to the story?” Adagio asked.

“Oh..um yes I’m sorry.” Fluttershy replied.


Censia 1000 years ago

The place we came to was called Censia. A land surrounded by tall mountains and dry cracked land. There was no greenery to be found and we were hungry. We flew across the skies hoping to find food, but nothing could be found. That was until we came across a cave. I had a gut feeling not to go in, but my hunger and Aria’s and Sonata’s whining got to me, so we entered the cave. I don’t recall what happened, but I do remember we got blasted by magic from behind and when we woke up we were surrounded by a bunch of centaurs.


Adagio awoken only to find herself in chains and in what appeared to be a dungeon. She looked up to see three centaurs towering over her talking amongst themselves. 

“So what is Lord Zirek going to do with them?” Centaur one asked.

“Not sure.” Centaur two replied.

“Haha I still can’t believe you upchucked haha” Centaur three said

“Shut up! They are siren what did you expect? Their so ugly its sickening.” Centaur two replied angrily. 

“Hey? Where are we? What are you going to do to us?” Little Adagio demanded looking up at them.

The centaurs didn’t move. Centaur one told Adagio to shut up and not speak before them. Adagio ignored him and asked again. This time the centaur clinched his fist and kicked her across the room. 

“SHUT UP YOU UGLY FISH!” YOU ARE NOT TO SPEAK BEFORE US!” Centaur one ordered.

Adagio laid there in total shock. Never has anyone or anything ever hurt her. The centaurs then just left and slammed the door behind them. She got up and looked at Aria and Adagio still asleep. A tear came down her face as she curled up in a ball and started to miss Muse. Muse would know what to do. Muse was a great leader and very smart. Adagio missed her very much and regretted given into Aria and Sonata’s pleads. She didn’t blame them, but herself for she was the leader. It was her responsibility to take care of her sisters. 

Aria soon woke up along with Sonata. They looked around to see were they where and turned to Adagio who was curled against the wall. Both girls went to her.

“Hey..Adagio where are we?” Sonata asked scared and confused.

“Yeah, lets get out of here.” Little Aria added.

However Adagio just stayed quiet not saying anything. This in turn made Sonata sad and Aria annoyed. They tried to get an answer out of her but she didn’t respond. Aria soon gritted her teeth. “ADAGIO WHERE ARE WE!!” she screamed.

“HEY SHUT UP!” Centaur one yelled banging on the door.

Aria turned and glared at the door. She gritted her teeth. “MAKE ME!”  

The door soon opened and there standing was the centaur who told her to quiet. His eyes were closed to avoid looking at her. So he charged up his magic and shot blindly, missing them at first. Aria just laughed at him and called him stupid. This in turn made the centaur mad and shot magic again only to miss. Aria kept mocking him until he blasted Sonata with his magic making Sonata cry in pain. 

Aria looked over at Sonata who was crying in pain. She gritted her teeth and glared at the centaur. “Hey stupid that wasn’t me! Why don’t you open your eyes and hit me if you got what it takes!” Aria screamed.

“Keep talking ugly fish and next time it will be fatel hahaha.” Centaur one said.

Before Aria was able to say another word Adagio opened her mouth. “ARIA JUST STOP! Please no more. We already lost somepony we care for... please I don’t want to lose anypony else.” Little Adagio said with tears streaming her eyes.

Aria looked at the yellow siren. Never had she seen her like this. So helpless and lost all hope. Aria complied to her orders and kept to herself. The centaur just smiled and closed the door. 

After an hour went by Adagio was comforting Sonata as Aria was sulking in the corner. There was soon and bang on the door and a loud voice demanding the sirens lower their faces. The girls did as they were told as the door opened and came in a centaur with three black bags. Her placed them over their heads and leashes around their necks. Aria wanted to fight so bad, but after Adagio told her not to because they were not only stronger, but could kill them if they wanted to. Aria didn’t want that to happen, not after losing Muse. So she did as she was told. Sonata started to whimper, this in turn made the centaur mad.

“SHUT UP!!! OR ELSE I WILL FRY YOU!!!” Centaur two yelled.

Sonata started to tremble and cry. The centaur raised his fist and punched Sonata’s face demanding she stop or else there was more to come, but the little blue siren couldn’t help but cry. She wanted to eat and go home and play with Adagio and Aria. She wanted her life back to the way it use to be, before all this happened. The centaur then kicked her over and over laughing and telling her to stop. After the fifth kick centaur three came in and told him to stop and that the lord is waiting for them. Centaur two grunted and brought Sonata up and took all three to see the lord. 

The sirens were brought to a chamber of pure gold with red carpet. Sitting on a throne was a hulking centaur with a crown on his head and by his side was his son, a slightly smaller version of him. The girls still had bags over their heads and couldn’t see a thing.

“Welcome to Censia. I am the lord of this land, Lord Zirek.” Lord Zirek said looking at the three.

“Please what do you want from us?” Little Adagio asked.

“Y-yeah I wanna go home.” Little Sonata said.

Lord Zirek raised his brow and became angered by the out burst. He then looked at centaur one and raised his hand, which centaur one nodded and zapped the girls with his magic, causing them to scream.

“If you value your lives, you will not speak before me ever.” Lord Zirek said. “Now from this moment on you are to work for me in the gold mines.”

“Father, why not just suck them of their power?” Tirek asked his father, annoyed by his decision.

“Know your place child. I have no need for more power. I am already the most powerful centaur in Censia.” Lord Zirek replied angered by his son’s question. “Now send them away, they are to start working late morning.”


So from then on out we worked all morning and day in the gold mine, getting Zirek’s gold. We ate nothing but mushed roots and poor water. As the days went by we started to decay. Aria became sour. Sonata, being the ditz she is, never stopped smiling, no matter the pain we endured day after day. The only thing that kept us sane and a little happy was singing. We would sing softly in our cells in order not to anger the guards. It wasn’t until one day we realized we had power to change our fates.


The sirens were working in the gold mine gathering more gold for Lord Zirek. They were being monitored by two centaurs as they dug with their hooves. 

“Hey...um Mr. Centaur..is.. Is it ok if we sing while we work?” Sonata asked whiping the swaet off her face.

“Mmm I don’t care what you do fish. AS LONG AS YOU WORK!” Centaur four yelled. 

Sonata smiled at both Aria and Adagio. Both the girls didn’t want to sing and didn’t understand why Sonata wanted to. Adagio agreed to it only because anything was better then working in silence as two centaurs watched you. The trio started to sing as they dug into the ground gathering little bits of gold. As they were singing both the guards started to sway to the song, as if they were caught in a trance. 

“Wow..they are good....” Centaur five mentioned.

“Yeah...The yellow one sounds great though.” Centaur four said enjoying the song.  

“No the purple one is way better.” Centaur five said.

“No way the yellow one is BETTER!” Centaur four said getting mad at centaur five’s judgement.

“Are you stupid? The Purple one sounds way better then the yellow one idiot!” Centaur five yelled.

The girls soon noticed the two centaurs arguing over who was a better singer and stopped to watch. Sonata was confused to why they were fighting, but Adagio and Aria new why. A long time ago Muse had told them not to sing infront of others, because a siren’s voice was dangerous and would cause trouble to anyone who heard it. That is why they always sung alone and made sure nopony was around to hear them. However as the centaurs continued arguing, a green aura started to form around them and as if by instincts all three sirens started to hum. The green mist slithered its way toward the girls and into their gems. They could feel the hatred of the centaurs running through their bodies. As they continued to feed, Adagio and Aria remembered a promise they made to Muse. They told her that they would never use their voices for evil, but they were to far gone. The once innocent little sirens had suffered not only the lost of their mother figure, but was shunned from others and abused for days. The girls hearts were soon filled with the hatred of the two centaurs. It was all over when one of the centaurs killed. Adagio and Aria for some reason felt no sympathy only delight. The other centaur walked over to the three.

“You are simply beautiful” the fourth centaur said kneeling before them.

Both Adagio and Aria were shocked to hear this. “What do you mean beautiful?” Adagio asked confused and thinking it was going to be just like Havikia.

“You three are more beautiful then a shrine of flowers.” The centaurs replied looking into Adagio’s eyes without even flinching.

“What? You mean..we aren’t ugly?” Aria questioned.

“No no, not by a long shot” The centaur replied.

Adagio soon realized what must have happened. “I got it, when we feed off of negative emotions. The spell is no more.” Adagio said with a smile. “Don’t you see? We are no longer considered ugly. As long as we feed off of these freaks haha.”

Aria just smiled at the idea that they no longer had to worry about the curse, but their celebration was cut short when they heard Sonata crying. She stood over the body of the dead centaur with tears over her eyes.

“I-Is he dead?” Sonata asked looking at Adagio.

“Duh y-“ Aria was interrupted with Adagio putting her hoof in her mouth. 

Adagio looked at Sonata in the eyes. Even though Aria and herself had changed due to the world pushing them. Sonata still stayed pure to the end regardless. Even though they have been abused by these creatures, Sonata still remained innocent. Adagio looked at Aria and no longer saw the feisty girl, but a sour version of who she once was. She then thought about herself, she was no longer the sweet little Siren Muse brought up. Adagio turned back to Sonata and closed her eyes.

“Forgive me mom.” Adagio opened her eyes again and faced Sonata. “Sonata he isn’t dead. 

“B-But what is this red stuff?” Sonata asked pointing to the dead centaur’s chest.

“Thats nothing, he is napping thats all.” Adagio said. “Hey how about we..make the centaurs all...happy?” 

“Sniff* ok” Sonata said breaking out of her gloom.

Aria got next to Adagio. “Are you sure you wanna bring her?” 

Adagio turned to Aria with a serious look on her face. “Yes...we promised Muse remember?”

Aria said nothing and understood.

Present Day

“So wait that is when you guys turned evil?” Sunset Shimmer asked.

“Yes..when we fed off those two centaur’s hatred, the darkness went into our hearts. You see a siren who consumes negative emotions becomes evil. It’s in our DNA, it is who we are. The only way a Siren can be good is if they never taste hate.” Adagio replied looking at Sunset.

“I’m sorry but ah don’t buy that. You have a choice to be good or evil not if ans or buts.” Applejack added..

“Excuse me? Sorry, but that may be true about humans. Sirens are completely different.” Adagio replied annoyed by Applejack’s statement.

“Um.. Its true Applejack. When a dog has wolf in them and if they ever taste blood. The dog will become wild .” Fluttershy added.

“You calling us animals?.” Aria said glaring at Fluttershy.

“No.. I’m sorry. I was only using it as an example.” Fluttershy said sinking into her seat.

“So sad to hear. You could have been good, but due to the hatred you consumed, you all became evil.” Sunset said looking sad.

“Yeah, it isn’t their fault they were evil and nasty.” Pinkie added.

“Thats right.” Aria said.

“Well... what happened next?” Sunset asked looking at Adagio.


When we discovered our new power, we took over Censia with our voices. Every centaur was at our control. However even though it was a great to be admired. Being in a land of dirt and rock with crappy food wasn’t all that appealing.

1000 years ago Censia

The three sirens sat in thrones of pure gold, being served by the centaurs who all complemented on how beautiful they were. However Aria was looking bored and miserable.

“Gah! Adagio I’m bored. The food taste like crap and this place blows.” Aria said having her tail fins massaged by a centaur. “Can we go some place else? That has water and better food?”

Adagio took a bite of root that was being fed to her by a centaur. She then let out a sigh as she looked over at Aria. “We I know how you feel. Even though we are being served like royalty. This place is an eye sore.” 

“Oh ooo I know why don’t we have them play hide and seek with us again?” Sonata said with a smile.

“..Sonata you are the worst and because of you this place blows.” Aria commented rolling her eyes.

“Oh yeah.. Well you smell like purple.” Sonata snapped.

“Sonata purple isn’t even a smell you dope.” Aria said annoyed. Adagio face hoofed herself and suddenly came up with a plan. “Girls, I just thought of a great idea. What you say we spread hatred all over the world?” Adagio asked. “Then we can not only feed off of their hatred, but we can rule over them as well.”

“That sounds stupid Adagio. I mean what would the point of spreading hatred and all that crap do?” Aria question.

“Grr.. Don’t you see. If we feed off ever creature we will become stronger. Then nopony can stop us. Best of all we get our own place. You can have a country dedicated to fighting in your honor and eat better food if you please.” Adagio said with a smile.

“Hmmm... My own little country. Where I am queen and can have every fight and eat better food. Ok I’m in.” Aria said with a smile.  

“Oh and I can have a place were we play all the time?” Sonata asked gleefully.

“Yes, we can rule the world and make it our kingdom.” Adagio answered. “Best of all, everypony will adore us.”.

“Yeah it will be fun.” Sonata said clapping her hooves.

“Thats my girls, but first a little matter of business I want to attend to hehehe.” Adagio said.


Later that night Adagio told Aria and Sonata to wait outside while she talked to Tirek. The two sirens stood outside as they were told. Adagio made her way to Tirek’s room were him and Scor Pan were talking.

“Greetings Adagio, you are more beautiful then ever.” Scor pan said bowing before her.

“What can we do for you Ms. Adagio?” Tirek asked her.

Adagio start to sing in perfect harmony. “Tirek, I notice you wanted power, but your father, he is such a foool. He cares for only gold, but I ask you which is better? Money or power, answer me Tirek? What do you want?

“I want power.” Tirek said stuck in the siren’s song

“Then you know what to doooo. Go to your father and take you rightful place. Your powerful he isn’t, your meant for greater deeeds.” Adagio sung.

“Yes, my father is a fool to think gold is all that matters.” Tirek said. “I will take my rightful place... as lord hahaha.”  Tirek then walked off leaving his brother behind in the room.


That was the last I saw Tirek, I have no idea what became of him and his kind. We left Censia behind us and traveled around the world. We spread hatred where ever we went. We tackled Griffonstone, Changling Kingdom, Diamondia, and Unicornia where we first came across ponies. They were all so happy in harmony, it made me sick. So we did what we did best and caused them to hate one another. Hurt each other for our own amusement. We were close for global domination and would have been victorious is it wasn’t for him.

Canterlot 1000 years ago
The Sirens made their way to canterlot causing everypony to hate one another. The made their way through the castle with little problems from the royal guards. They then blasted the door leading to the throne room and there stood waiting for them was Starswirl the bearded.  

“I will ask of you this once to stand down.” Starswirl demanded.

The sirens just laughed and circled around the old unicorn.

“HAHAHA tell us, were are the little pony princesses at?” Adagio said using her siren scream on Starswirl.

Starswirl dodged the attack and glared at the trio. “They are attending a Kingdom up north taking care of an evil king. I am your opponent today.” Starswirl said shooting a magic blast at Aria.

“HA missed old goat. Maybe you oughtta sit this one out. Haha!” Aria said dodging his attack.

“Hehe yeah you might miss again hehehe “Sonata said giggling.

“Grrr Sonata take this seriously.” Aria ordered.

“Girls stop fighting. Lets finish this little pony off once and for all. Then we can have all of equestria to ourselves.” Adagio order. The girls soon formed a triangle and charged up their final attack. They then blasted the spell at Starswirl. 

Starswirl used his magic to create a powerful shield around him. However it started to crack from the attack. Starswirl new he could win this and had no choice but to think fast or else all of Equestria would fall. He thought of a spell he had been working on for months and figured it was a good time to try it out. He lowered his head and his horn started to glow. “I refuse to kill anything that lives, but you three girls... I can feel something. I know not of your past, but can tell your hearts have seen evil of this world. I will send you to another world. A world to start over, please...clear your hearts of evil.” 

Starswirl teleported out of the shield letting it collapse. He then appeared behind the trio and blasted them with his dimension spell. The trio screamed as they were being sucked into the portal to a world unknown. The portal soon closed leaving not trace of the three behind.  “You..three girls.. Are destined for something greater.” Starswirl said with a smile on his face before collapsing on the floor.


Present day

“And thats how we got here.” Adagio said finishing the story.

“Wow, darling. It seems you all been through so much together.” Rarity stated.

“Yeah, I just thought you three were just evil.” Rainbow Dash added.

“Yeah well we aren’t” Aria remarked.

“I’m sorry for what happened to you.” Sunset said.

“Don’t be. Beside what can you possible do to help us?” Adagio asked looking at Sunset.

“I..I don’t know, but please don’t leave. Let us try to help. We can think of something.” Sunset said looking at Adagio.

“We have no choice. We are nothing but freaks.” Aria added.

“Please..give us till tomorrow to come up with something.” Sunset asked.

“And if you girls can’t? Then what?” Adagio asked.

“Then we will find a way to save you girls.” Pinkie Pie exclaimed. “No matter what we will help you.”

“Yeah, we don’t give up on each other here.” Applejack said.

“Man you guys are cheesy.” Aria said under her breath.

“Please Adagio? Lets give them until tomorrow?” Sonata asked looking in Adagio’s eyes.

“Mmm...fine” Adagio said with a heavy sigh.

	The next morning both Adagio and Aria had worried expressions on their faces. The curse was becoming worse as time progressed. The Siren’s curse was to the point were people could become physically ill just by looking at their faces. Luckily, Twist stayed in the nurse’s office after Adagio convinced her of having a bug. However, the issue was how the Sirens would leave the Alternative House and even go to school without making anyone sick. Adagio and Aria sighed as they sat on their respective beds waiting for one of the Rainbooms to come help. Suddenly, Sonata Dusk came out of the bathroom with a smile on her face.

“Hey guys, why so sad?” Sonata asked confused.

Aria face palmed as she grunted. “We are “SAD” because the curse is even worse. We are now making people physically ill.”

“Yes, I thought your friends were to come and help us?” Adagio asked with a disgusted look.

Sonata just smiled. “Oh yeah, they will be here to save us and get this whole thing fixed.”

“And how are they to do that? They know nothing of Sirens.” Adagio asked.

“Um..I don’t know. The magic of friendship maybe?” Sonata said shyly and confused.

“Sonata, you are the reason why they made Tylenol.” Aria said rubbing her head.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Sonata was about to get it until Adagio grabbed her arm. “Are you crazy? We have no idea who it is. Did you forget the curse?” Adagio said annoyed.

“Oh, my bad” Sonata said. “WHO IS IT!?” She yelled, making Aria and Adagio cover their ears.

“It’s Rarity, I have an ideaaaa on how to help you with the curse.” She said behind the door.

Adagio grunted as she went to the door to open it. There standing was Rarity with her eyes closed and holding three colorful veil hats. Each hat was designed with the siren’s respective colors and had an arrangement of jewels on the brim.
Adagio raised an eyebrow.“What are those?” The yellow siren asked.

“These are veil hats darling.” Rarity said walking in with her arms waving infront of her trying to find a place to sit. Sonata helped her onto Adagios bed. “You see darlings, I had a brilliant idea. Last night my little sister and her friends were playing God of War, and they came across these hideous tacky monsters called gorgon. Well I thought to myself, why doesn’t the hunk just wear a veil to protect his eyes from her stare, and then it hit me, why not make veil hats that you girls can wear to shield people from the curse.

“And what? We wears these the rest of our lives?” Aria asked rudely.

“No, Sunset said Applejack might know someone that can help.” Rarity said with a smile.

“It’s a stupid idea.” Aria said

“I like it. Look at mine.” Sonata grabbed her veil.” Its blue and sparkly and everything.”

“Again stupid idea.” Aria said again rolling her eyes.

“Well, I’m sorry if it’s not your style.” Rarity said rather annoyed by Aria’s disrespect.

“It will have to do for now girls. We have no choice.” Adagio said grabbing hers and adjusting it on her head. The yellow siren had a hard time adjusting it on her head due to the mass of hair.

“Why don’t you just cut it Adagio?” Ara asked.

“Why don’t you just shove the silver vi..HA I did it!” Adagio said finally getting the hat on.

Adagio handed Aria hers in which the purple siren rolled her eyes and grabbed it and tried it on. Rarity opened her eyes to see the three sirens with their veils on. She gasped at her work.

“You all look lovely!” Rarity said with a smile. “Applejack always told me funerals weren’t a place for fashion, but I have proven her wrong.

“Good for you princess.” Aria grunted.

“Rarity isn’t a princess silly, thats Twilight Sparkle who we haven’t seen in forever.” Sonata remarked.

Aria rolled her eyes behind the veil. “Anyway, tell us marshmallow, how are we to go out looking like this?”

“Don’t worry, I have it all planned” Rarity replied.

The four girls grabbed their book bags and headed out the door. The girls were starting to walk toward Rarity’s white Toyota prius. But before the girls got there, Ms. Harshwinny called out to them. Adagio and Aria grunted as they looked to see Ms. Harshwinny walking toward them. Sonata waved at her in which Aria shook her head.

“Excuse me ladies, but why in the world are you wearing those veils? You know it is against school policy.” Harshwinny demanded.

“Too bad your face isn’t against policy.” Aria mumbled under her breath.

"What was that Ms. Aria?” Harshwinny asked.

“She said too ba-mmmph” Aria covered Sonata’s mouth to stop her from blabbing.

“Girls, I demand an answer as to why you are wearing veil hats?” Harshwinny asked again this time more stern.

“You see, Ms. Harshwinny, our friend Sunset Shimmer’s grandpa had passed away and they are wearing these veil hats in respect. It is their religion.” Rarity said.

“Religion? What religion is that?” Harshwinny asked.

“Norse” Rarity replied.

“Norse? You mean Thor and Loki...that religion?” Harshwinny asked raising an eyebrow.

“Hey our God has a hammer, yours was nailed to wood.” Aria said with a smirk.

“Mmm sorry girls I’m afraid-“ Harshwinny was cut off.

“Ms. Harshwinny, am I to understand you are trying to take away these girls religion? You should be ashamed. I mean you wear a Star of David necklace proudly and did not care what Filthy Rich had to say about it when he tried to take that away from you. This is their beliefs and you taking that away. That makes you no more then Filthy Rich?”

Ms. Harshwinny gritted her teeth as she heard the word “Filthy Rich” going through her ears. Filthy Rich, even though he would never say it out loud, was not fond of Jews. Last year he tried to get Mayor Mare to ban the rights of the Star of David in work places. Ms. Harshwinny fought to keep her rights to wear her religious symbol at work. Filthy lost, but ever since he made an enemy of Ms. Harshwinny. She thought about what Rarity had said about her becoming as low as filthy and shook her head. She refused to be anything like that troll.

“You know what girls, never mind you can wear and parade your beliefs if you want to. You have my full support.” Ms. Harshwinny said with a smile and then walked off. “Hope Filthy gets hit by semi.” She mumbled under her breathe.

As Ms. Harshwinny left, Aria took her hand off Sonata’s mouth. Sonata had a confused look on her face “We’re Norse?” Aria and Adagio just 

shook their heads and started to get in the car. Adagio had shot gun and Sonata and Aria sat in the back.

“Wow, didn’t think you girls lied?” Adagio said putting on her seat belt.

“Darling, I’m the element of generosity, not honesty.” Rarity chuckled.

Before the girls came to school, Sunset Shimmer had told Principal Celestia as to what was going on with the sirens and what the six girls were doing in order to help. Celestia agreed to make sure everyone new of the story Sunset made up to keep the students and teachers from bothering the three sirens. This in turn meant Sunset had to say “thank you” to everyone who told her they were sorry for her grandpa passing, including Sonata who was the only one in the group to believe in the lie.
As time went on it was finally lunch time and the girls sat at their table ready for the mystery girl to show up and help the Sirens.
Adagio looked at Applejack. “So tell me who was this person who can help us?

“Ooh, ooh is she a witch? Or, or a gypsy?” Sonata asked hyperactively.

“Or maybe a magician, or a wizard?” Pinkie Pie added.

Applejack bit her apple and chewed it three times before swallowing it. “Nah, I got that transfer student.”

“Transfer student? You mean the girl from Africa?” Sunset asked confused.

“Yeah, that one. I saw a documentary on tv about how they know voodoo and stuff. I figured she be able to help.

Rarity choked on her mash potatoes. “Um, Applejack darling? Remember that time we went to the mall and you saw Diamond Tiara making fun of Applebloom for being southern?”

“Shoot yeah, we southerners are not stupid, toothless, watermelon seed spitting, barefoot walking, banjo playing, cousin loving, overall wearing, inbred. That there was not right of her to stereotype us like that.”

“Yeah, Applejack, don’t you think you just did the same thing with Zecora?” Sunset asked her friend.

Applejack soon realized the error of her ways, but before she could react Zecora had come and sat beside her. “Hello Applejack and to her friends, the same. Zecora is my name.”

“Hey Zecora, did applejack fill you in on why we might need your help?” Sunset asked.

“Why yes, these three in veils are in need of a spell.” Zecora replied. “You thought I was a enchantress and that I did freaky dances?” Zecora said taking a sip of her milk. “Magic, as you know is true, But sadly I possess none to help you.”

Applejack took her hat of as she looked at Zecora. “I’m mighty sorry Zecora. I didn’t mean to offend you.”

“I’m not offended Applejack dear, we all make assumption I fear.” Zecora said with a smile.

Adagio slammed her hand on the table in frustration. “Great, So the country girl fails. Any other bright ideas bacon head!?”

“Look Adagio, we can’t give up, we need to-“ Sunset was cut off.

“Need to what? wait for more stupid plans from you? You already failed.” Aria grunted.

“Hey at least she is trying unlike you three.” Rainbow barked.

“Um girls..” Fluttershy said sheepishly.

“You want to go at it skittles? Cause I really have some pent up energy I want to let out on that stupid face of yours.”

“Yeah, come at me you Monster High reject. I’ll be more then happy to beat you to a pulp.” Rainbow shot back.

As the girls were arguing with each another, Sonata just sat quietly with her head down. She started to sniffle and tremble as Adagio started saying nasty things about her friends she then slammed both of her hands down on the table. “STOP!!” The cafeteria went silent as Sonata stood up. The girls looked at her waiting for her to say something. “Just...stop fighting....” Sonata then turned and ran out.
Sunset and Adagio got up and were about to go after her. “Stop, let her cry, I have a feeling help will come from a pie.” Zecora said eating her hotdog as the girls looked at her strangely.

“Oooh what kind of pie? Is it lemon, apple, pumpkin, pecan?” Pinkie asked

Sonata ran crying into the bathroom. She went over to the sink and threw her veil to the ground. Sonata then looked into the mirror thinking to herself on how she and the other two sirens were going to live if Sunset was not able to help them. She never took anything seriously in her life but friendship because that was the one thing important to her. However, this curse would make it impossible to live with.

Sonata soon heard the toilet flush. She looked behind her forgetting about her veil. As the door opened, out came Maud Pie looking right at her unfazed by the curse.

“Oh, you’re my sister’s siren friend.” Maud said with no expression. “My sister tells me you ae in need of magic help. I think I know two people who can help?”

Sonata’s face brighten up as she heard those words. “ for R-reallzies? Thats great!” Sonata ran and hugged Maud really hard. She then realized that her veil was still off and that Maud wasn’t effected by the curse. She looked at Maud with a weird look. “How come you're still not effected?”

“Internet” Maud replied.

After Maud had told Sonata the good news, the blue siren went to tell the other two sirens and her six best friends. Sunset and Pinkie were enthusiastic that Maud could help. However, Sonata had to beg Aria and Adagio to listen. After ten minutes of pleading, both Adagio and Aria gave in.

After school the girls met Maud Pie standing by the high school statue.

“Tell me, how do we know your friends can help us?” Adagio asked.

“You don’t.” Maud replied.

“Then why should we follow you if there is a chance we are going to lose.” Aria asked.

“Because you have nothing else to lose.” Maud said.


As the girls entered the mall, Maud led them to Hot Topic. There at the cashier table was a tall thin woman with yellow skin and orange hair that was in a purple bow with green dots. She wore blue overalls with a light-green shirt that had the sleeves pulled up. Next to her was a rather large blue girl with black hair and a pot on her head. She wore a red dress with orange pockets and had freckles on her chubby face.

“Those two there.” Maud said pointing at them.

“Them? How are they going to help?” Adagio asked.

“Those two are wican sisters.” Maud replied. “They practice magic.”

“But how? Magic doesn’t really exist here?” Sunset added with a confused look.

“The six of you, plus the sirens are magical beings, who live in this world.” Maud stated.

“Hey yeah, didn’t the other Twilight say something about the magic of friendship is everywhere?” Rainbow asked.

“She did..ok lets give this a try.” Sunset said.

The girls walked up to the cashier’s table.

“Hey Maud.” Reeka said reaching her hand in her pockets to grabs some M&Ms.

“Hi, my friends are in need of help.” Maud said. “Also, do you have any new Iron Maiden shirts?

“Um...yeah we got them today Maud.” Draggle answered.

Maud left the girls to find the shirt she was looking for. Sunset and Adagio approached the counter.

“Hey, um Maud told us that you might be able to help us with some magic stuff?” Sunset said ever so nervously.

“Oh yeah, me and my sister practice magic all the time.” Draggle said.

“Good then you can help us?” Sunset said with a smile.

“Yeah, but we get off at 5 so met back here then” Reeka said stuffing her face with more candy.

“Hey why are you wearing those hats for?” Draggle question.

“Sunny’s grandpa died today and we are wearing these to respect her because I just found out I’m Norse and its what we do.” Sonata said sniffing.

“Oh I’m sorry to hear.” Draggle said to Sunset.

“It ok, thanks” Sunset replied.

“Your so strong sunny!” Sonata said balling out her eyes and hugging Sunset.

Sunset just patted her friend’s head and looked at the clock, which read 4:15. “Ok we’ll be back.” Sunset turned to her friends. “Ok I guess we could kill time?” She asked.

“But isn’t that murder?” Sonata asked looking confused and over with crying over Sunset’s pretend grandpa.

“Yeah and how are ya going to kill time?” Draggle asked scratching her head.

“Oh maybe with a time knife or a time gun? You know because they have time in them and so can kill time.” Pinkie added.

“Oh god there are three of them now.” Aria mumbled.

“It is a metaphor guys.” Sunset told them.

“Well I’m gonna head to the skate shop for new wheels.” Rainbow said walking away.

“Yeah, I’m gonna get me some new boots. My old ones are more torn apart then an old rug in a pen full of wild pigs.” Applejack said walking behind Rainbow.

“Well I’m going to Spencer’s” Aria added turning to walk away.

“Why, you going to restart you “collection” again?” Adagio asked.

“”Oh you mean her Cucumber collection?”  Sonata asked? “Oh you should get the cucumber that looked like candy cane Aria.”

Pinkie scratched her head in confusion until she new what Sonata was talking about and gasped. “Hey Rarity, don’t you have a spiky cu-mmmpph” Rarity covered Pinkie’s mouth while sweating. “Ha ha I have no Idea what your talking about darling. A lady doesn’t use a cucumber hahaha” Rarity said nervously hoping they would believe her.

Aria was getting annoyed by everyone asking her about her little “collection” she owned.

Reeka and Draggle looked at one another confused as to what she was talking about cucmber collection. “They sale cucumbers at the food court if you want that. The only thing that looks like a cucumber at Spencer’s is a-“ Reeka was cut off.

“EVERYONE SHUT IT!!!” Aria yelled before storming out of the store. Nobody could see the red in her face from embarrassment.

“Well..now that’s over with, I’m going to Minty’s Secret for perfume.” Rarity said walking away.

Adagio looked at Sunset. “And what are we to do?” She asked.

“Want to get a blizzard?” Sunset asked.

Adagio rolled her eyes and agreed to it. Both Sunset and Adagio were sitting at a table in the food court. 


Sunset ordered a Peanut Butter Blizzard for herself and a hot fudge sundae for Adagio. Both girls sat down at a table. As Sunset was enjoying her blizzard, she looked over to see Adagio poking her sundae with a spoon. Sunset couldn’t help but feel sad. She had already failed helping the Sirens one time and if this didn’t work she had no idea what she would do. Sunset tried to get help from Twilight, but the Alicorn Princess was busy this whole month planning the Grand Galloping Gala. She put the spoon in her Blizzard and sighed.

“Listen Adagio, I’m truly sorry?” Sunset said in a sad tone.

“For what, failing once and maybe again?” Adagio asked. “If these two nimrods can’t help us then what else you got?”

“I-I don’t know...I want to help you the best way I can.” Sunset replied.

“Why? Is this for Sonata? Or is it for friendship?” Adagio questioned.

“It was about friendship at first, but after these past few days, I feel that it’s something much more.” Sunset said looking down.

“What?” Adagio asked raising an eyebrow.

Sunset let out a sigh and looked back up at Adagio. She reached over and grabbed Adagio’s hand gently. “I’m doing this because nobody should have to be hated forever. I believe that everyone should be loved and have friends. I don’t want you, or Sonata, or Aria to be alone forever in this world. I promise on my life Adagio, I will find a way to help you. Just.. please don’t give up on me.” 

Adagio was speechless as she looked in the girls eyes. For so long, she and the other two sirens have been hated for what they were, but here was a person who was willing to help. For so long the yellow siren only wanted to be adored by everyone, but never once did somebody like her because they wanted to and not because they were under her spell. A tear rolled down Adagio face. “Thank you Sunset....thank you.”

Mean while sitting at three tables away was Sonata and Pinkie Pie.

“Hehehe they look cute together don’t you think?” Pinkie asked.

“Haha ,yeah, they are totally for each other tee hee?” Sonata replied giggling.

“Ooh, maybe the ship should be called Sundagio?” Pinkie added.

“Or maybe Adagset? Or something like that?” Sonata said while leaning forward in order to put her straw into her mouth and enjoy the chocolate milkshake. 

“Absolutely tootly hehe.” Pinkie replied, leaning forward as well to put her own straw into her mouth and drink the same milkshake.



Once it was five O’clock the girls met Reeka and Draggle back at Hot Topic. The two witches usually took the city bus back to their home, but Applejack had offered them a ride. The girls all got in Applejack’s truck. Applejack was in the driver’s side while the two witches were up front with her to help with directions. Rarity, Aria, Adagio, and Sunset were in the back seat. Pinkie, Rainbow, Fluttershy, and Maud were sitting in the tail gate.  After about thirty minutes of bad directions they made it to the Witches house. The girls got out to see a lovely yard and home the girls lived in.

“My, what a lovely home you got.” Rarity said, admiring the lawn flamingos.

“Thanks, Hydia makes us clean the yard on weekends.” Draggle remarked.

The girls all went into Draggle’s and Reeka’s house. Their mother wasn’t home, but Reeka called Hydia for permission before inviting them. 

They went into the witch sisters room were they saw a bunk bed and some wiccan objects. Rarity and Fluttershy were creeped out on how eerie it looked. Draggle went into her closet and grabbed a huge box with books in them.

“Hey I got a question.” Rainbow said. “What school you go to?” 

“Huh? We are home schooled.” Reeka replied, while reaching under her pillow and pulling out what seemed to be a wrapped half eaten hamburger.

“Yeah, Hydia, teaches us on weekends when she doesn’t have to work.” Draggle said looking for the book she needed.

“Hydia?” Fluttershy asked.

“Reeka let out a belch as she got done with her hamburger. “Yeah, she is our mom.”

“She doesn’t want us to call her mom until we take up the family business.” Draggle added.

“The family business?” Fluttershy questioned. “What does she do?”

Pinkie gasped. “Oh let me guess you three are a bunch of evil witches who have a grudge against ponies and you want to summon a purple blob that will cover all the land turning everyone nasty?” Pinkie asked in one breath.

“Can I please buy some of your pot?” Aria asked looking at Pinkie.

“Um no, its much worse.” Reeka said.

“Eh..is it Garbage men?” Rarity asked with a disgusted look.

“Or slaughter house?” Fluttershy asked nervously.

“Or is it working at a nursing home?” Rainbow added.

“Wait no, it’s the mafia right?” Sonata asked. “Your mom is the don and she sends people up river for crossing her?”

“Not its much worse then any of that.” Draggle replied.” She wants us to be lawyers.”

Applejack gasped.”That is just despicable!”

Draggle had finally got the book she was looking for. It was a dark purple book with magic written on it. Draggle handed the book to Sunset.

Sunset grabbed the book and opened it to see all the magic spells. “Tell me how did you get this book?” 

“Some girl left it here before we moved in a long time ago.” Reeka commented eating gummy worms. “Hey now that you mention it, you look like her.”

Sunset was surprised to hear this, but did not wish to engage in the conversation. “Oh well maybe it was my twin?” She said blushing.

“Oh my gosh, you have a twin that is so cool Sunny.” Sonata said in total shock.

“Yeah we should find her and throw her a party!” Pinkie added.

“That won’t be necessary Pinkie.” Sunset said as she flipped the page. “Wait, I found it.”

All the girls gathered around the book as Sunset had it on a page with gems and magic. “It says here that gems can hold and seal magic.” 

“Well we got the magic, but how we gonna get them there gems?” Applejack asked.

“Hey Rare, don’t you have gems in your fancy room?” Rainbow asked looking at Rarity.

“Darling, those a fake gems. Not even I can afford real ones.” Rarity replied.

“Oh no, looks like this is the end...” Fluttershy said sulking.

“No...we still have our necklaces.” Adagio said pulling hers out of her pocket with the gem busted.

“You kept them things even after they got smashed?” Applejack asked.

“Yeah, these are what made us who we are.” Adagio replied. “Think of it like your southern accent. You live in the city and yet only you talks like that.

“Oh, sorry” Applejack said as she understood what Adagio meant.

“But how are we gonna get them fix they are broken.” Aria asked.

“Yeah, you rainbowed us and destroyed our gems Sunny.” Sonata said with a sad face.

“I know, but I think I have an idea.” Sunset said as she turned to the Draggle. “Do you have a big back yard?”

“Uh, yeah we keep in fenced because our neighbor Zeb likes to peek over here..” Draggle replied.

“Ok lets go.” Sunset said. The girls followed her to the backyard were they saw it was fenced in so nobody could see what they do. “Ok, the idea is we are going to rainbow you three again.”

“What!? “ Aria asked. “That is stupid, your magic will only destroy our gems more and maybe us to.

“No, see friendship magic doesn’t destroy, unlike most other magic out there. This kind of magic is set to restore harmony. Twilight told me stories of how the magic of friendship destroyed Nightmare Moon, but saved Luna from darkness. She also said that after Tirek had taken all the power from ponies, that it was the magic of friendship that not only defeated the demon lord, but restored everyone’s cutie mark.” Sunset said.

“Yeah, but our gems our destroyed, and we are evil.” Adagio replied. “So wouldn’t the magic of friendship just destroy our gems even more.

Sunset lowered her head before looking back at Adagio. “Adagio, your not evil anymore, I know deep down you, Aria, and Sonata are still the same sirens you used to be, before darkness entered your hearts. “

Adagio looked into Sunset’s eyes and sighed. “Ok Sunset, lets do this.”

“ YAY!! WE are gonna get are power back!” Sonata said bounceing with Pinkie Pie.

“Oh goody.” Aria said not really caring.

“Hey wait, won’t the neighbors wonder why a giant rainbow blast happened in your backyard?” Rainbow asked.

“Hydia is a lawyer and can just blame Zeb.” Reeka said ginning.

“Thats not very nice.” Fluttershy added.

“Yeah it is, Zeb is already under probation for drugs.” Draggle said.


“Oh, ok” Fluttershy replied.

The sirens put on their necklaces as the main six gathered around them. Sunset and the rest all joined hands as the looked at the three sirens standing in the middle of their circle. Maud was sitting on the porch with Draggle and Reeka ready to see the magic of friendship be summoned. Sunset started to sing and was then followed by the rest of the main girls. Suddenly their pony appendages sprouted and this made Draggle and Reeka look in awe. As The girls were still singing a rainbow started to form around them and out of the girls chest were beams of magic that looked like cutie marks. The sirens stood there being hit by the magic, but were not being harmed. They were starting to feel tingly as they magic went inside them. All of a sudden as Sunset and the girls hit a high note a rainbow pillar emerge from beneath them. The sirens started to moan as they were feeling strange.


:ah,,,Nothing is happening Sunset!” Adagio called out.

A thought soon popped into Sunset’s head. “Sing”

“What? We can’t bacon head” Aria shouted

“Try” Sunset called back.

Adagio grabbed both siren’s hands and started to hum, as they did the other two followed. Suddenly, the siren’s eyes started to glow white as they soon let out a harmonic hum. The gems that were broken soon forge around their necklaces. 

After a few more seconds the rainbow pillar had disappeared. The main six stood there back to their original selves as the sirens were kneeling on the ground with their heads down. Draggle and Reeka looked on with anticipation as Maud just sat there. Sunset was about to say something until Adagio started to hum. As she hummed, both Aria and Sonata followed. Their voices were back and tears fell from the girls eyes. As the girls hummed a rainbow mist appeared around al of the girls. The sirens took in the rainbow mist and suddenly looked up to see the Sunset and the other staring at them with smiling faces. Tears ran down the sirens faces for not only because their voices returned, but the curse was broken. The trio finally stopped singing as the feed off of the rainbow mist.

There was a moment of silence as nobody knew just what to say, until Pinkie Pie jumped in and hugged Sonata. “YES! YOU GOT YOUR VOICES BACK!” She screamed.

“Yay, we no longer have the curse.” Sonata said hugging and jumping with Pinkie.

Adagio looked at how happy Sonata was before looking back at Sunset. The siren touched her new blue gem and couldn’t help but smile.” Thank you Sunset.” 

“That what friends are for.” Sunset said not sure if she should hug Adagio or not.

Adagio then walked toward her and hugged her. Sunset returned the jester.

“Wow, that was so cool.” Reeka said walking over to the girls.

“Yeah, can you teach us that?” Draggle asked.

“Maybe” Sunset replied smiling.

“I’m so happy for you girls. You no longer have to worry about the curse.” Fluttershy said happily.

“Aw..my veil hats are ruined.” Rarity whined picking up the three hats that were destroyed and dirty. She soon turn to see everyone staring at her. “Oh and yay the icky curse is gone hehe ha” Rarity said whule blushing.

“Hey wait, why was the mist a rainbow?” Aria asked? “It was green.”

“I have no idea.” Adagio replied.

“Yeah, and our gems are blue and not red anymore.” Sonata added.

“Maybe, you girls don’t feed off of negativity anymore, but instead friendship. Meaning the magic of friendship gave you a different food source.” Sunset said.

“Wait a minute? They eat friendship? Doesn’t that mean they are a bigger threat than before?” Rainbow asked.

“Don’t worry skittles, I no longer care for being admired by all. Only one person will do.” Adagio said looking at Sunset and winking. She then turned to the other two.” What to you say girls?”

“I don’t care. As long as I don’t have to hide and can smoke weed-“

“And don’t forget your collection.” Pinkie added.

Aria gritted her teeth. “Mmm anyway, I don’t care.”

“This mean we can be friends with Sunny and Pinkie, and Rarity, and Fluttershy and-“ Sonata was cut off.

“Yes Sonata, we can be friends with them.” Adagio ended. 

The girls all gathered in a group hug and from that moment on the Sirens were redeemed.
