Over a month has passed since the CHS Battle of the Bands. In that time, Sonata Dusk has become estranged from the other Dazzlings. Penniless, she attempts to secure a meal. Luckily, there's a warm burrito nearby. Less luckily, the burrito belongs to Sunset Shimmer. How will Sonata handle being face to face with her old foe?

This is a P.O.V.-flip of Sunset's story. Reading that half first is not required, but reading both is recommended.

Like its twin, this story is part of the Burritoverse continuity.

Desert Mirage lives in a world full of guns, lasers, explosives and people competing to be the best of the best. There she excels at what she does: hunting. She started as a nobody, and yet became one of the most sought-after gunslingers.

Sunset Shimmer was practically born the best of the best. Selected by none other than Princess Celestia to be her prized student... until she ran away to another world in search of power. Through trials and suffering she was eventually taught humility and friendship.

At first blush, they don't have much in common. But their connection runs deep, and sooner or later it will change their worlds forever.

Sunset Shimmer discovers that she has a new power hiding deep inside of her. Not only that she also finds a broken and beaten Sonata Dusk. Could these two things possibly be related?

Sunset and Twilight have made a speech project for Ms. Cheerilee about a certain topic that they have been given. The topic they got is being triumphant. What did they make for this project?

This story is a sequel to This Second Forever

Twisted by force and enriched by choice. Alike in all ways but the roads they diverged on, they look upon the other. Fear, regret, anger, resent. Hope, pity, searching, respect. The Elements tore them down the roads they now meet on. Altered by the atrocities and the accolades they have brought.

Ever since she was a filly, Nightmare Night has been Sunset Shimmer's favorite holiday. After all, who doesn't love dressing up and getting free candy?

When Twilight reveals that she's never gone trick-or-treating, Sunset decides that she needs to prove once and for all how absolutely amazing the holiday can be—even if it means she has to drag Twilight along kicking and screaming.

The Princess of Friendship gets Sunset's message that something is up at Canterlot High. She immediately leaves Equestria to help out her friends. Once she got to the other side, though, she meets her friends having a picnic with herself? Uh, oh. The conversation she has with herself gets interesting.

Spoiler: If you watched Friendship Games, this is the ending when Twilight comes to Canterlot High after the events of Midnight Sparkle.

Sunset Shimmer watches Frozen and really enjoys it. Her friends don't quite understand her new obsession.
