When Pinkie Pie seems troubled by her inability to pulverize boulders into dust, Applejack suggests a visit to the Pie Family farm to learn from the best. She tags along, of course. After all, she's always wanted to learn.

Set in an ending to "Friendship Games" where Twilight stayed at Crystal Prep to make friends with the Shadowbolts. Twilight and the others are trying to be more friendly with one another...but friendship doesn't come easy when your entire life has been competition and personal accomplishment. The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step, so any progress is good progress? Right?

Sunny Flare and Indigo Zap aren't exactly the closest members of the Shadowbolts. But if they're going to give this "friendship" thing a shot, they should at least try to get along. And what better way to do that than over some frozen treats? Except maybe almost literally any other way...

After the events of "Filli Vanilli," Pinkie Pie approaches Fluttershy with apologies. But when Fluttershy probes into just why and for what Pinkie is apologizing, Pinkie finds out that there are quite a few friendship lessons she has still to learn.

Not as skillful with an instrument as her farmer friend, Rarity decides to use her voice to better perform. However, will her song reveal more to herself then originally anticipated?

After an honest days work on the farm Applejack tries to sleep. But due to overexertion she is more restless then anything. It doesn't help when everything hurts either. So when she sees her friend Rarity with the same dilemma, Applejack decides to try a different approach.

Usually, we feel alone when we're by ourselves. But sometimes, the loneliest place is in the middle of a crowd. Spike has to get away, and he needs somepony to talk with him so that he can get through the evening.
