When Spike is rescued by a mare wearing the Mysterious Mare Do Well costume, he is smitten in love with her.

Meanwhile, the Mane Six learn that the Mysterious Mare Do Well costume was stolen. Who is the mare that has stolen both the costume and Spike's heart?

Rainbow Dash is feeling lonely. The painful emptiness of her home in the midwinter months is overwhelming. Intense emotions and some hasty decisions lead her to bringing home her very own human as her newest pet.

A human skydiver is intrupted mid flight by a flash of color and transported high above equestria. After a mid air collision with a flying blue equine; he's taken to her home to recuperate and she decides to keep him as a pet. He might have something to say about it if her could speak her native language.

Warning, Humans are small creatures in Equestria and the first chapter is a little sad, but lighter hearted fun will follow shortly after.

Chapters are a once in a while side thing for me when an idea strikes. There's a lot of time to dig into between the start and the suggested time of the second chapter. At present, I'm only confirming a third any time soon. When he wakes up for that first meeting.

After that, it's probably going to finish the first day or couple of days before I start doing any major time jumps between additional chapters. I may not do them in order at that point, but they will be placed in order. As is suggested in the second chapter, timeline is limited up to them being middle-aged with an empty nest. Mostly going to be kooky and fun, with the occasional serious event taking place.

No connection to my main story, Protecting Harmony.

It's your general HiE story. Human arrives, human is introduced, human adjusts, human falls in love, subsequent pony falls in love with human, marriage, the end. But what a lot of stories don't tell is that the human eventually dies. It could be dying on the field of battle, locked in combat with some immortal foe. Or maybe he slowly succumbs to the sands of time in the background of other, more important things. It eventually happens whether we like it or not.

But what happens after that?... Does he fade from the minds of his friends over time? Completely forgotten in all but a statue and an inscription in the royal gardens?

Or does he stay at the forefront of their thoughts? Forever remembered by his wife in a desperate attempt of find some way to bring him back to life while all those around her keep telling her to move on, "forgive and forget they say", "move on" they say.

"No" she said. "NO!" she yelled in their faces!

She will wait for all eternity if need be, just waiting for the day that she can have her love monkey back!

Spike has been away on royal business for about a month. Pinkie, Twilight and the rest of the gang are planning a big party for him when he returns. Things seem to be going smoothly until certain happenings lead Spike to question the way other ponies see him, specifically one purple-maned unicorn, and a turn of events results in them seeing a part of Spike none of them-including him-knew existed. It seems they didn't know as much about Spike as they think they did...

Chapter 15 is up!

David wakes up from a nightmare to find himself in a hospital filled with coloured ponies that seem friendly enough to make friends with. However, when the strange nightmares persist David starts to think that something is wrong. Luckily, Night Glider was the pony to take him into her shelter and she is the pony that David is starting to get attracted to.

Slight gore in the opening prologue and throughout some dream sequences.
