The Elements of Harmony. The most powerful magic in all of Equestria...

For two times now, they have been wielded by six individual ponies, bound together by the Magic of Friendship, to successfully counter the wicked and chaotic ambitions of those who sought to conquer the world.

Yet, for all their usefulness, these magical artifacts still remain a mystery to most of ponykind. Perhaps the most important question is, was it really the full potential of them that was displayed by the wielders? Or is there simply more than what meets the eye?

When Rainbow Dash recieves an updated version of the book focusing on the Elements of Harmony and reads its new chapter that tells of a special incident that supposedly happened eons ago, soon, a series of events happen afterward. Events which ultimately culminate in Rainbow Dash discovering her true destiny, as well as discovering what she really holds inside in her very own soul...

As this fic was started in 2012, the setting of it is after the events of the Canterlot Wedding, and therefore ignores most of season 3 and 4 while keeping some of what was revealed about the Elements of Harmony in those seasons intact, including the Tree of Harmony.

The main theme of this fic, as well as the theme of Super Rainbow Dash, is Daiki Kasho's "5OUL ON D!SPLAY" from Gran Turismo 5/6/Sport/7.

On a dark night filled with even darker magics, an insane cult attempts to give Nightmare Moon a body and life of her own, utterly separate from Princess Luna. But, when the spell is interrupted by Celestia, something unexpected is created.

Now, a little black alicorn filly named Nyx finds herself living under the care of Twilight Sparkle, only to be haunted by memories and emotions from her past. Is she Nightmare Moon reborn or is she simply a doppelganger with a soul and mind of her own? Can Twilight Sparkle protect Nyx from those who refuse to see past her dragon eyes and black coat?

Or, will Nyx be forced to inherit the sins that may not even be hers and become the greatest evil Equestria has ever known?

In the Equestria region, a young researcher named Twilight begins the next phase of her studies, only to be thrust into a life she didn't expect or want. She has been learning about Pokemon for as long as she can remember, from the very best, but now Celestia's pupil must embark on a familiar yet different journey, reluctantly making allies to stop the storm of chaos coming.

Alice Liddell feels like she's losing her sanity ever since she visited Wonderland. She feels like she's slowly breaking down with madness. Her sessions with her psychiatrist, Dr. Bumby, doesn't seem to be working for her. All she wants to do is forget.

But, when a mystical mirror brings her to a mysterious new world filled with talking ponies, what will happen to her? What will she do, how will she get back, will she go mad? We're all mad here.

"To the fairest of them all". That phrase alone brings up the most bloody, heinous, and depraved horror Equestria has in the history books: A beauty contest. A contest fought tooth and hoof to find who's the most beautiful mare in all the land. But, unlike any normal beauty contest, the contestants play for a greater glory than just a sash and some flowers. They play for a sash and some flowers AND the Golden Apple of Accord. The very same famed apple that once bitten by the fairest of them all will grant her whatever she desires.

To the fairest goes the apple. To the apple goes the bite. To the bite comes whatever they want. All that remains now is to keep the apple out of the hooves of someone that would use it for something evil... And to show off how fine all the mares of Ponyville are! It is a beauty contest after all.
