Thorax leaves Pharynx to handle the finer points of negotiation with a pony diplomat who is, ironically, extremely undiplomatic. Everyone involved is given reason to regret this decision.

Michael works as a researcher in the local branch of the ‘Anomaly Containment And Study Centre’.
After a long day at work, he notices an unusual anomaly devouring all the blueberries in his garden.
MLP:FIM does NOT exist in this world.
This is a rewrite of a story I almost abandoned. However I will now try to fix plotholes and some characterisations and continue from there.

Check him out. He makes some AMAZING art.
Thanks to @solobrony for some dorky lovely cutesy scenes.
Daybreaker does not exist. Or at the least, Daybreaker shouldn't exist. She's just a nightmare, a concern, a personal fear. She isn't actually real.
Only until she is, at which point she becomes something of an issue for everyone.
Fortunately (for everyone who isn't Daybreaker) she just-so happens to wind up in the one spot on the planet where the only person she can bother is the only person who doesn't mind all that much. Even the death threats get treated as jokes.
It's intolerable.
I had a pretty good life. They called me Spit Shine, I worked in the palace, cleaning this, doing that. Hell, I even got to talk to the Princess, and learned all sorts of interesting stuff. It was stimulating, prestigious, and hey, call me weird, but I liked the work.
Shame I was also secretly a changeling infiltrator with a name too annoying to pronounce in polite society trying to observe and potentially subvert your nation state.
I mean, these things happen.
Of course, you'd be surprised what you can learn about a pony when you have a different perspective.

Six months. The length of time since Luna's returned from the moon, and the time it's taken for her to completely accept that nopony really wants her around, with the sole exception of Celestia. It would be bad enough simply trying to adapt to a millennium of cultural changes, but the fear and disdain directed her way at every corner is enough to drive Luna to stay in her room.
Little does anypony know, her room is precisely where Luna's come alive since her return. 'Make friends,' Celestia says – if she only knew! Luna has a friend, Felix, who lives in the human world. A little dimensional magic never hurt anypony, and humans have the best videogames! She can connect with people who aren't afraid of her and go on grand adventures where no one can judge her!
If only Felix knew who she really was, if they could have a truly genuine bond. Well... a little dimensional magic never hurt anypony, right? What's one more spell?

This story is a sequel to Crowded house
Horse invasions continue, though they're accepted now and all is well. The human has invaded in return, after all. They have an arrangement. They don't particularly want to define it, but they do.
Then something slightly new happens. Only slightly, but still.
AKA Chrysalis vs The Rolled-up Newspaper of Harmony
AKA How To Unalone Yourself At Hearth’s Warming
Chrysalis has been inexplicably spared the wrath of Discord and the Princesses, although frankly, she'd really rather have preferred the stone! Now burdened with an awful, dreadful, wicked curse that... gah, fills her with love and joy any time she tries to think a vengeful thought! And worse! Now she's been roped into pretending to be Applejack of all ponies on some errand to the middle of nowhere with a filly named Diamond Tiara and some lovely wretched mare named Cherry Jubilee.
Not that she'll fail at all in this. Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.
Plus, it beats getting lost in the woods in winter.

Luna invites Rainbow Dash on her dreamwalking duties.
Dream-ruining, spider-safety lessons, abduction, and imprisonment ensue.
Maybe the dream realm can't handle this much awesome.
Special thanks to SoloBrony for helping me hammer out the details.
Thanks to SoloBrony and JWolfSilver for editing, and to them and Wanderer D and AliceLiz for prereading.
For a changeling like Iqqel, the Ceremony of Names is what getting a cutie mark is for a pony. It has a lot to do with your destiny and who you are meant to become. Iqqel dared to refuse all that and chose to shape her own future.

Celestia and Luna have been many things to each other. Siblings, Allies, Comrades, Rivals, and the bitterest of enemies. Despite this, as they move forward they know they will always be one thing to each other.
Friends.
