Fancy Pants and Fleur Dis Lee have decided to take a vacation from Canterlot and its constant upstaging lifestyle. Manehattan was not their first choice, but with Fashion Week happening, both of the ponies have a certain interest in one of the designers, and hopes about her as well.
And of course, Fleur loves clothes too.

Rarity is given the luxury of staying in Fancy Pants’ mansion as a guest while she prepares her newest dresses for a show in Canterlot. She is comfortable, but the stress of the approaching show is weighing heavy on her. Everything must be perfect. Perfect, perfect, perfect. There is no room for anything less. But when the competition proves to be overwhelming, she seeks out ‘the perfect pony’ for help…

But is Fancy truly a pony without flaws?

A story about self-confidence. No one is perfect, but it’s our flaws that push us to better ourselves.

Celestia frees Discord from his statue prison, convinced that he is somehow behind Twilight Sparkle's grayed personality. Discord takes advantage of the situation to make the princess hate him, for reasons he hopes he'll never need to say.

(First ever attempt at writing a story other than class assignments. Let's see how it goes?)

A wondrous day rises for Ponyville.

But two ponies do not share the joy. Trapped as they are in their own circumstances, they try to hold to the only thing they have left, each other.

A mammoth being of ancient metals and gears has awakened from the earth with the sole intention of destroying every villain in Equestria. Untouchable, unmovable, Discord remains as its last target of worth. Now the Spirit of Chaos must beg for Celestia's aid, even if things are so much more complicated than he would have ever wanted.

Note: This fic is based on the brief animatic we saw during the hiatus between seasons 4 and 5. It's not necessarily canon with the actual events of "Make New Friends but Keep the Discord." Thank you!

Yes, the season 5 animatic clip showed us that there will be a Smooze episode! And it also interestingly showed us that there will be a dance/gala episode coming up...and that Discord will be there in a tux and top hat (cue fangirling)...and that Celestia seems pretty happy to see him when he shows up This story is one little potential scenario for how Celestia and Discord's interactions together might go based on reading a lot into that look Celestia gives Discord when he walks in, the flowers from season 4 (of course), and the fact that I just think these two are such a compatible couple Enjoy, and thank you for reading!

We're so close to season 5! I don't know about you, but I'm going stir crazy!

Between when the girls flew up in a ball of rainbow magic to defeat Tirek and when they landed back in Ponyville at Twilight's new castle, Discord and Spike were just left on the sidelines at the Harmony Tree and didn't show up again until they popped out from behind Celestia, Luna and Cadance later back in Ponyville. This story explores what might have happened during that time gap, and especially how Discord's first contact with the princesses following his betrayal might have gone (spoiler: it's a teeny bit tense ).

Also explored is one random potential theory for Discord's unexpected compulsion to give Celestia flowers and wink at her in the middle of a throne room full of onlooking ponies. This theory happens to involve Cadance and demonstrates once and for all that the magic of love is not to be taken lightly.

I just wish I wasn't.

Celestia's week has not been fun. First, her younger sister decides she's in no condition to rule and steals her job, then Discord disappears on her when she needs him most, and now she's stained her favorite bed sheets. Could this week get any worse?

But hey, at least that means the pregnancy's almost over. Soon, she'll be cradling her newborn baby, covering him or her with kisses and nuzzles as Luna, Twilight, and Discord watch beside her, waiting for their turn to hold. Everything'll go smoothly, her personal doctors will make sure of it. Childbirth's a breeze when you're a princess.
