This story is a sequel to An Empathetic Heart

Misty, with her newly discovered element of harmony, messes up wildly during a battle with Opaline, leaving Zipp badly hurt and the rest of the Guardians of Harmony in disarray.

Luckily, she has a very special pen pal who is more than willing to travel through the portal to mentor her! But why is she so keen to leave her home?

Misty and Sunset Shimmer team up as the combined element of Empathy to show the world what it means to have heart!

Twilight is struggling to laminate her marriage certificate, while Rainbow struggles to make coffee. Maybe they just need each other to help out.

As Misty runs away from the brighthouse in a guilty panic, an unrelated botched spell leads to her meeting a fiery unicorn with a similar story to tell

With magic returned to unicorns, terrifying powers of brain-obliteration are within Izzy's reach.

She uses these powers to threaten ponies into kissing her.

Entry into A Thousand Words Contest III.

While still adjusting to his new life in Equestria, Comet is coming to grips with a strange feeling for one of his friends: Misty. More specifically, he's found himself in love with her, the first time he's ever felt such a thing.

Of course, being a complete stranger to romance and being somewhat socially awkward, Comet struggles with how best to tell Misty. Plus, he isn't sure if she loves him back or if the attraction is one sided.

So Comet does the only thing he can think to do: Turn to his friends for help. But can they really help Comet work up the nerve to confess?

With some creative negotiations, Lightning Dust managed to snag a date for The Washouts to perform at Canterlot Cloud Stadium, and even got them a decent rate on a hotel for the few days prior to their appearance.

After a period of uncertainty for the flying team, it marked a turnaround that the flight team needed to get back onto a positive trajectory.

Lightning Dust, however, would not be present for the performance.

Mane Melody survived its first few weeks and a visit from Phyllis Cloverleaf, letting Jazz Hooves finally find her place at the newly opened salon. When she is left in charge on a slow day, a strange customer stumbles through her door. As she gets to know the timid mare, Jazz discovers that showing just a little kindness in something as mundane as hoof care can make all the difference in the life of another.
