Now that he has returned home from deployment and is now reunited with his wife and newborn daughter, Fluttershy soon notices a major difference in him. When she attempts to ask him what happened while he was deployed, she receives an answer that she was not prepared to hear.

It's been a year now for the Pegasus, a year since the incident that caused her life to fall apart and sink to the very bottom. Life is just all a game and we are here to play, but surely and slowly the flame has burnt out. Rainbow Dash has decided her fate.

The name Smith is a military reference that it could be anyone they're is over a million people with the last name Smith.
There is a lot of military reference and strong language.

Rainbow Dash is a fighter, but she find herself bowing down to cancer. Although her life is slipping out of her hooves, her friends won't let her go just yet.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash have been avoiding the truth for quite some time now. Neither of them are willing to admit to themselves or the other how they really feel, but it might just be time to face reality. When they both decide to face the truth, it comes down to who is willing to put their pride and fear behind them to find out how the other feels. Even then, would they be able to overcome the formidable obstacles to live in true happiness together?

Rainbow Dash plans to ask for Applejack's hoof in marriage during a surprise vacation to Manehattan, but something goes wrong during the teleportation spell causing the duo to end up in places unknown. Requiring them to fight their way home. Days pass without a sign of the couple, Twilight and the rest of the gang start to worry. Finally they set out to find what happened to their friends. But as the Elements of Harmony venture further from Equestria, an ancient evil is awakened and threatens to plunge the world into chaos.
