This story is about a stallion who doesn't remember anything about himself. He doesn't remember his name or family. When the mane six decides to have a picnic, Pinkie Pie found him lying on the street. They decide to help him regain his memories. Will he be able to regain his memories?

This story is a sequel to The Rainbow's Surprise

On the day of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash's wedding, Princess Celestia left Twilight a message saying that she should prepare herself if something happens. The next morning, Twilight awakens to find that all of Ponyville has succumb to a blinding fog. She must now travel a monster-filled town in search for her teacher and friends and try to return Ponyville back to the way it was.

Mentally abused by his father and verbally by his classmates, David finds the only ray of light in his life in My Little Pony, particularly the cheerful Pinkie Pie. But after long, gruesome days, David slips deeper into depression and contemplates suicide. One morning, David wakes to find a solitary Pinkie Pie plushie sitting at the foot of his bed, with a note that says only "Hug this when you need a friend." Of course, David casually tosses this aside, but is oddly compelled to try it.

Fluttershy has always enjoyed being employed at the ice rink, handing out skates, cleaning the floors and equipment, and sometimes even smoothing the ice, so she knows her way around the rink. Every detail was always stood out to her, from the very day she was employed, so she immediately noticed the small new device hidden in the corner of the building. After Celestia reveals it to be releasing a toxin into the air, the entire rink is temporarily quarantined with everypony inside. But how long is temporary? With only a few vending machines and snack bars to keep all those ponies fed, and only basic first aid skating kits to keep them healthy, will it be too long?

Fifteen years. We all aged over the past fifteen years, the Apple Family and Winona and I; especially Winona. And for another fifteen years I thought I'd be blessed with her company. But then the cancer took its hold.

That's when I realized: sometimes the hardest thing is not letting go, but pulling the trigger.

Shining Armor certainly lives up to his name when it comes to protecting his younger sister. She's become a prime target for a small pack of bullies, jealous that she has become Celestia's personal apprentice. However, the bullies have gotten a new target now- Shining Armor. When it starts to get more physical, he's become accustomed to even having to use magic to put up with it. As he arrives home one day injured from the barrage, help comes from an unexpected direction.
