Swift Thought, former student of the Royal University, first and only democratical theorist in the history of Equestria, now Canterlot's foremost hobo. When the latter decides to take an illegal midnight stroll through the Royal Sculpture Garden, he finds out that not all the statues are just silent chunks of marble, as the frozen form of the Spirit of Chaos offers him a deal: he will take a hitch on Swift Thought's mind, lend him a bit of his powers, and together they will make an incredible journey around Equestria, to ask the old gods of ponykind, now lying forgotten and forced to live among the mortals help to beat Celestia and Luna and finally, after three thousand years of monarchy, transform Equestria in a democratic nation.

Having failed to reach Davy Jones' Locker with the rest of his crew, Captain Hector Barbossa finds himself stranded within a hell many times more terrifying; a land infested with magical talking horses and little baby dragons. Despite the odds being stacked against him and the inhabitants of Ponyville at his back every step of the way, he vows to return to his own world and finish the quest he started.

If only fate did not have a new adventure in store for him. An adventure that could very well change the fate of Equestria and the Caribbean seas forever...

Will Discord and Chrysalis be able to get the angry newcomer to loosen up and enjoy his eternity?
