When the latter decides to take an illegal midnight stroll through the Royal Sculpture Garden, he finds out that not all the statues are just silent chunks of marble, as the frozen form of the Spirit of Chaos offers him a deal: he will take a hitch on Swift Thought's mind, lend him a bit of his powers, and together they will make an incredible journey around Equestria, to ask the old gods of ponykind, now lying forgotten and forced to live among the mortals help to beat Celestia and Luna and finally, after three thousand years of monarchy, transform Equestria in a democratic nation.

Actually, I had half of the new chapter written down for like six months, but I couldn't get around and actually finish writing it. I'm probably going to update this before SCP is over, because that'll take a long while, it's not even half done. If I had to give an estimate, I'd say that around late August I'll probably get off my lazy ass and write the next chapter. In the mean, time you're free to check out my other stories.

Chapter V is actually half done but it's so hot in here that it's hard to find that stimulus to finish it.
Interesting adaptation of AG to the MLP setting. Pity you had to go the old "Celestia and Luna are evil frauds" route and impugn the canon characters to make it work, though. Though at least with Twilight it's something from her ice queen days that she regrets, and would regret even more if she had any inkling how much of an effect it had on Swift- basically an early version of "Amending Fences".
