Princess Celestia has been ruling Equestria for thousand's of years. She's seen it all. Literally seen it all. And now she's more than a little bored with the day to day hum-drummery of running her Kingdom. Deciding it's time for a little time off, she opts to take a week long vacation. But not just any vacation spot will do. After all what is there to see or do in a world where she's seen and done it all?

Instead she decides to switch places with a willing human participant. It's the slowest week of the year for the Solar Diarch, and she's absolutely confident her choice for a week long stand in will do just fine. The problem is, she doesn't quite get the right human.

It always seems to be a normal day just like any other when the strangest things happen. Twilight is pulled away from her plans as a monster starts to rampage through town destroying everything in its path. Twilight somehow manages to subdue it, but things only start to get more complicated from there. Can Twilight figure out a way to put everything back how it should be before the world begins to crash down around her? Can her new friend manage to stay sane long enough to help her do so?

Ever since being relieved of the majority of her major duties, Celestia has been extremely bored. Anon takes notice of her having a particularly bad night and gets her to confess her real problems.

The Nightmare is gone and Luna's return has been welcomed by everypony but there is someone else that was alerted by her return. Someone that has been gone for a long, long time... and now, her past has come back to haunt her.

So... I met Discord. Cool guy, if I do say so myself. We were actually having a nice chat, but something made his powers go haywire and drag him back to Equestria, with me along for the ride. Oh yeah, I also became my OC Lightning Blaze, a vampony filly with the power to control Fire, Lightning and Darkness. So now I have to cope with conflicting memories, powers that I know next to nothing on how to control and how strong they are, cybernetic limbs, ponies treating me like a kid (which I guess I am now), and overall, trying to not get put into an orphanage because I am an orphan now. Fan-flaming-tastic.

Oh, and apparently, Diamond Tiara has a crush on me. Help.

For those of you who followed the pre-rewrite, this is a completely new plot with only a few details from the old one. Hope it's better than that cringey thing.

I became a pony known as Lauren Faust, the mother to Celestia and Luna. Now I’m living in the Canterlot castle; I have a bunch of royals acting like children, changelings running around, and an ancient alicorn prankster stuck inside my head. All I can say is things get a little hectic.

She found out she had to pull double-duty today and tomorrow on the weather patrol.
Oh, and she found a nearly-dead foal, broken and bleeding at the edge of Ponyville.

The rest of her day became a whirlpool of stress and worry but the colt woke up, thank Celestia.
Something's not right, though. Nopony can find his parents, he's not in the registers, and there's an unsettling look in his eye...
