Celestia has been having recurring dreams; dreams that she wishes would go away. But they won't, they only increase in their frequency. One night, she gives in and visits that statue in the royal garden. The statue that haunts her sleep. The statue of her one true love, the statue that she made. That night, under the statue, she remembers the day they first met.

I have always been alone in this forest. I have always feasted in this forest. I call this forest home and those ponies that travel through it are my prey. I devour all those who fear me, all who come to face me. They fear me for I am Fear incarnate. But now...I have met one who does not fear...and I am unsure of what do with her...

Looking back, it should have been obvious. It wasn't at the time of course and they knew that, but it was now. All those brief moments they spent together, the close encounters, it was like they were dancing around the subject.
And it all began with something so very small.

During a picnic, a mysterious portal appears out of nowhere in plain view of Twilight and the rest of the gang. Curiosity gets the better of them, so they decide to enter the gateway to another world and see what's on the other side.

After transporting them to this strange new world, the portal powers down inexplicably, trapping the Bearers of Harmony in a strange cube land with no way back.

How will they get home? What dangers will they face lurking around every corner?

More importantly, what does a lonely crafter have to say about all of this?

John is more or less your average male American. He goes to college, he has a stable job, and he's a brony. A really big brony. So big, that one night he's turned into one of his favorite ponies: Rainbow Dash.

And then he finds out that he's not the first.

Note: This is NOT a part of the PonyEarthverse collab; this was started months before I even heard of the group. In fact, this entire story was inspired by the cover image, which was posted on My Little Brony Memebase months ago.

Rainbow is in love with a pony that doesn't suspect anything.
Twilight seeks her true love since her brother's wedding, but is blind to what might be.

Join these two mares and the rest of their friends for a New year's eve they won't forget easily and maybe for all the wrong reason.

So long story short, a brony and pegasister are sent to Equestria as Pokémon and they don't know how it happened or why. Now they must travel through Equestria to either find their way home, or live out the rest of their lives in a new world in new bodies. And only one of these questions will be answered.

"Where is Fluttershy with the cuddles?"
"..."
"Don't look at me like that, I know you want one too."
Probably going to be that one.
