The Power Ponies are coming again.

Another escape from custody, another scheme to take over Maretropolis, and another chance for the Power Ponies to defeat her. Such is the cycle that Mane-iac has endured for as long as she can remember.

And she's sick of it. She's sick of all of it. Now on the cusp of one more battle with her nemeses, she can only think of how much she has sacrificed for the city in her battles against the Power Ponies, and how much more she can take.

If She had been a good little filly she would have stayed indoors, hiding under her bed as she waited for the Royal Guard and the Princesses to arrive and deal with the dragon. If she had been a good little filly, the kind of child that always got what she wanted for Hearth's Warming, she would not be on the trail leading up the mountain, to where the dragon now rested.

The horrors of the catacombs have turned to distant memories for Celestia, Twilight, and Luna. Discord’s change of heart and Twilight’s coronation have helped to ease and erase the mental scars from that harrowing night. The three princesses can even smile and laugh as Nightmare Night moves into full swing.

Yet, it should never be forgotten that those who have been touched by Tirek are forever within his grasp.

Discord has lived for quite a long time. Centuries as a ruler, a millennium as a rock, years as a reformed draconequus, it all gets very tiring. A nap is exactly what he needs. But when you live forever, time loses its meaning, years pass in the blink of an eye, mortals come and go like mayflies. And that's fine.
After all, any being that is truly important will live forever. Discord would never associate with anything less.

For Luna, nothing ever seems to go right. Except when it does, it's wrong.

Celestia has a visit from a medical professional who wanted to study alicorn blood using new scientific instruments.

The results are not pleasant.

Bored out of his chimeric skull, and unable to just cause random chaos as he used to, Discord does the other thing he does best...After trolling...and annoying folks...

I'm talking about finding loopholes, he found a loophole, and now not only can he cause chaos, big and small, but he get's paid to do it!

Business is Booming

Fluttershy lives a normal pony life: Simple needs, good friends, an established reality around her... and so, she starts her day as usual. Until Discord visits. But she has stuff to do.

Warning: Read at your own risk. When I say Random, I mean Random.

That's it, the last straw! Discord is done with this! He has had it with these mother-bucking ponies and their mother-bucking harmony! After a particularly bad day of not being allowed to be himself, Discord does what he does best. He finds a loophole and exploits the tartarus out of it. Best of all, he'll get to do whatever he wants, guilt trips from a certain yellow pegasus not included.

Then again, telling nopony one's plans certainly has its perks.

And what is his brilliant plan? He's taking a nap. If that nap just so happens to induce nightmares in those he dislikes and mass insomnia in the others... well, no plan is perfect. Dreams are more chaotic than the waking world anyway.

Story takes place in the undefined time between episodes "Keep Calm and Flutter On" and "Magical Mystery Cure".
