They may have only known each other for a short while, but in reality their relationship goes back years, and they don’t even know it! Stretching through their lives, they find that one recurring trend – each other.

But, although they always part, it can be certain that they’ll always … meet again.

It's that time of year again, a time when everypony and their families gather together to share in the Hearth's Warming spirit. At least that's what Sweetie Belle knows this time is supposed to be. With her parents stuck in Canterlot and her friends with their own families for the festivities, Sweetie Belle is snowed into the boutique with nopony for company but a completely booked Rarity and her grumpy cat. Or at least, so she thinks when she stumbles across an old box filled with Rarity's foalhood treasures.

When Pinkie went to have a look at Twilight's genealogy project, she never imagined what she actually found would be possible.

When Rarity decides to skip Heart's Warming Eve in order to spend extra time on her work, she finds herself traveling back and forward in time in order to learn about the true meaning of Christm- I mean, Heart's Warming Eve. So, yeah, it's just like A Christmas Carol, but with ponies. And pie.

Any under her command are immaculately dressed and refer to her as "Rarity" or "Miss" or "Miss Rarity". Hardly salty or even barnacled.

Though she is a pirate.
